Kapitel 103

Jin Shuoshuo frowned. Even though she couldn't stand Liu Chunyan making things difficult for her student, she could clearly hear that dog bark, and she couldn't handle it on her own.

"What's wrong?" Han An walked out of the office. After asking casually, he went straight to Shen Moyu.

Amidst the stares of the crowd, he smiled gently at Shen Moyu, naturally picked up the ball, and asked tenderly, "How was it? I left the dog with you the whole time, did it cause you any trouble?"

? ? ?

Liu Chunyan's face looked as if she had eaten shit.

"Woof!" Rolling Ball barked again, but still gently. It quickly adapted after Han An picked it up and obediently lay in his hands.

Han An adored the dog and gently stroked its fur. He looked up and smiled apologetically at Liu Chunyan, "Teacher Liu, Teacher Jin, I'm sorry, this is my dog. I needed to use the restroom, and these two happened to be passing by, so I asked them to keep it for me. I hope you didn't misunderstand." After saying that, he turned back and smiled at them again.

Shen Moyu realized what was happening, turned her head and nodded to Jin Shuoshuo, completely ignoring Liu Chunyan beside her.

Su Jinning, being sensible, quickly chimed in, "Yes, teacher, we're just helping to look after them for a while." He smiled sincerely, revealing a set of bright white teeth.

Now Liu Chunyan's face wasn't just black, it turned completely green.

Chapter 42 Love is the embodiment of madness

Liu Chunyan, hands on her hips, was indignant. Seeing that she couldn't find any fault with him and not wanting to be too embarrassed, she turned to Han An, who had just arrived, and began to scold him: "I'm only thinking about the school. After all, it's a school rule. Even if you're a teacher, you can't bring pets in! What if something really happens? What if someone dies?"

Su Jinning quickly pursed her lips, glancing at the three-month-old baby ball in Han An's hand. Let alone killing someone, even biting someone would require consulting with one's own little baby teeth first. If you can't cover it up, don't try to, making everyone feel awkward.

No wonder she's Zhao Yu's mother; their meddlesome and annoying values are exactly the same.

"Yes, it was my fault, I will be more careful." Han An nodded slightly to express his apology, but his eyes were fixed on the ball, making his words seem more like an expression of his poor care for the dog.

"Well, teacher, we'll be going now!" Chen Hang tugged at Su Jinning.

"Go on, but don't do it again." Jin Shuoshuo was a little annoyed. He pinched his nose and waved to the three pitiful yet hateful children.

Su Jinning was pulled a few steps by Chen Hang, then suddenly turned around to look at Liu Chunyan, whose face was turning green with anger, before finally putting her arm around Shen Moyu's shoulder and walking away.

It has a somewhat provocative tone.

Liu Chunyan rubbed her arm with some resentment and snorted, "Students these days are getting more and more outrageous!" After a pause, she turned back to Han An, "Even the teachers don't follow the school rules." Having said that, she finally picked up her bag and turned to leave.

"Teacher Han, don't take what she said to heart," Jin Shuoshuo sighed and comforted Han An.

Han An chuckled lightly, his eyes crinkling, and shrugged indifferently, "It's nothing, just a mosquito bite, it doesn't hurt or itch." Since he had decided to help Su Jinning and the others, he was already prepared for Liu Chunyan to ramble on and on. He had never taken Liu Chunyan's words to heart. After all, from the moment he arrived, Liu Chunyan had been resentful that he, at such a young age, had outperformed her, so she had constantly made things difficult for him. If he took every word to heart, he would be furious, and what kind of teacher would he be?

Seeing that he didn't take it to heart, Jin Shuoshuo nodded helplessly. After all, everyone knew what kind of person Liu Chunyan was, and they always avoided her, not wanting to cause trouble or make themselves uncomfortable, so they simply ignored her sarcastic remarks.

She looked at the somewhat dirty puppy in Han An's hand and asked, "But Teacher Han, can you tell me the truth, is this dog... yours?"

Han An hesitated for a moment, then suddenly laughed: "I told you, Teacher Jin would blame these children, right?"

Jin Shuoshuo was startled at first, but after a moment she looked away from Han An and couldn't help but complain, "I knew it, why would a teacher bring a dog to work? These students are getting more and more outrageous! They even dare to sneak a dog to school!" Actually, she could tell from the start that such a dirty little dog could not possibly have been brought by Han An. Maybe the reason they didn't come this morning was because of this dog.

"Teacher Jin, please don't blame them. These kids are still young, and they meant well," Han An quickly pleaded on behalf of Su Jinning and the others.

Jin Shuoshuo hesitated for a moment, then finally gave in: "Never mind. It's not like it's anything too outrageous."

She has always been a teacher who is both strict and gentle, and she won't hold grudges over things that shouldn't be criticized too much.

Han An smiled politely and added, "I'll take care of this puppy all day long, nothing will go wrong." Since he was going to be a good Samaritan, he might as well go all the way.

Jin Shuoshuo had a terrible headache, so he waved his hand, turned around, and went upstairs.

With some time before the second class, Han An turned and walked towards the back door of the teaching building. Sure enough, Su Jinning and the other two were waiting for him at the door.

Han An glanced at it, then picked up the dog and walked over. Shen Moyu went over first, smiling politely, "Teacher Han An."

"Hmm." Han An smiled back, handed the dog to him, and looked at Shen Moyu's spoiled expression, a little helpless: "So, the reason you two didn't come was because of it?"

Su Jinning wasn't surprised that her guess was correct; she simply nodded shyly.

Chen Hang, standing to the side, put his arm around Su Jinning's shoulder with a sigh, standing up for himself: "You all ran away for a dog, but you have no idea how hard it was for me when the homeroom teacher dragged me to the office and pried me out for half a day!"

Su Jinning nudged him with her elbow, annoyed by his inappropriate behavior. She exchanged a brief glance with Shen Moyu and said with a smile, "Isn't it because the top student is so overly kind-hearted?"

Han An smiled and looked at the rolling ball in Shen Moyu's hand, saying, "Alright, leave the dog with me for today. I've pleaded with your class teacher, so he won't make things difficult for you."

Upon hearing this, Shen Moyu nodded gratefully, "Thank you, Teacher Han." After saying that, he reluctantly handed the dog back to Han An.

"Wow! Teacher Han An, you're like an angel descended from heaven!" Su Jinning was so moved that she burst into tears. She stepped forward and hugged Han An, expressing her gratitude with tears welling up in her eyes.

Not only did they help them out of that predicament, they also pleaded for them! This is simply the pinnacle of what a teacher at No. 1 High School can do!

"Hey!" Han An stumbled as he was being hugged, not quite reacting yet.

Chen Hang put his arm around Shen Moyu's shoulder and clicked his tongue, saying, "When Brother Ning gets shameless, he's even more awesome than me."

"Alright, alright, this won't happen again." Han An patted Su Jinning's back helplessly, feeling somewhat embarrassed.

"Go back to class when you've had enough hugging." Song Chengnan, who had taken in everything, walked over from around the corner, holding a small notebook in his hand, writing something down.

The three of them recalled that Song Chengnan specifically patrolled the classroom to check on students who didn't return to class, and once caught, he would record their names and deduct points from the class score.

Su Jinning hurriedly released Han An and apologized hastily, "Yes, yes! We'll go back to class now!" Although Song Chengnan treated everyone equally, he always felt that the way he looked at him was sharper than the way he looked at others.

It's like... I stole something from him?

Shen Moyu was being pulled along by Su Jinning as they ran frantically forward, but his eyes were still on the two teachers. He felt that the atmosphere was a little awkward.

Fortunately, the next class was taught by their homeroom teacher, and Jin Shuoshuo knew what they had been doing, so she didn't blame them.

She'd gotten through this hurdle, but Jin Shuoshuo, still a bit sullen, was determined to make them do things for a few days. That was her usual style. Moving books, delivering documents, picking up this and that—she'd basically be arranging for Su Jinning and the others to do all that for the next couple of days.
