Глава 10

"Oh, I see. As long as it's not illegal, it's fine."

"Alright, I'm not talking to you anymore. You and Dad can keep this money. I still have several million here. If you need more money, just tell me."

"I'll save this money for you to use when you get married. Be careful with your own money too, you can use it to buy a house or something after the wedding..."

The phone call lasted for more than half an hour. Hao Yun felt the phone was burning hot in his hand before his mother finally hung up.

With a sigh of relief, Hao Yun wondered if he should go home and buy a bigger house for his family.

After thinking for a while, Hao Yun decided to go back after the next time he traveled through time, and to settle down here first.

Through the platform, Hao Yun looked at a house in the Third Ring Road. After a simple estimate, Hao Yun found that he didn't have enough money, so he went to a gold shop, sold a few pieces of jewelry, and got more than 20 million yuan.

Hao Yun still has more than a dozen pieces of jewelry left from the ghost head safe. Among them is a pair of jade bracelets that Hao Yun kept for his mother. His mother used to have one, but she sold it because of his high school education.

With a sigh, Hao Yun contacted the platform, and soon a staff member came to greet him. The person who came was a young girl. The person who answered the phone knew from Hao Yun's voice that he was young and that this deal was definitely not going to go through, so they sent a young girl who had just arrived to greet him.

"Hello sir, are you Mr. Hao who is looking at the house?"

After getting out of the car, Hao Yun looked her up and down. She was pretty good-looking, fair-skinned, and cute, especially her big, bright eyes. It was just that her work clothes lowered her overall score.

Judging solely by her looks, a 90 out of 100 wouldn't be an exaggeration; her figure, however, is only an 80, not as hot as Xiao Lihua's.

"Okay, take me there to have a look."

The young woman was a little nervous, as this was her first time serving a customer. When they arrived at the apartment complex that Hao Yun had chosen, she took a quick look, and Hao Yun seemed quite satisfied.

"How much is this room? If it's suitable, I'll just pay the full amount upfront."

The young woman, who was still enthusiastically introducing the house, was suddenly stunned.

"Full payment! Full payment?"

"Yes, how much?"

"Wait a moment, I'll call and ask."

The young woman apologized and hurriedly ran to the side to call her supervisor.

The person who introduced Hao Yun to the young woman initially didn't believe it when he heard that Hao Yun wanted to buy the house in full. However, when the newcomer mentioned that Hao Yun drove a Lamborghini, he was stunned. He felt like he had let such a big customer slip away, and he was so angry that he wanted to slap himself.

However, this person reacted quickly, immediately instructing the newcomer to calm Hao Yun down while he rushed over.

After waiting for more than ten minutes, Hao Yun became a little impatient. Although the girl was pretty, she kept repeating the same few sentences, which would annoy anyone.

"How much longer do we have to wait?"

When she saw Hao Yun about to leave, the little girl was so anxious that sweat poured down her forehead.

Just then, the salesperson, who had rushed over in a hurry, finally arrived.

"No, I'm sorry, sir, it's a bit far, and I'm a little late."

How much does this house cost?

"13.32 million, Mr. Hao, is that alright?"

"It's a bit expensive, can the price be lowered a bit?"

"I need to speak with the homeowner. Please wait a moment."

The salesperson who went to communicate with the homeowner returned shortly afterward, looking rather grim.

"Excuse me, sir, the owner of this house only rounded down the price to 13.3 million. Is that acceptable to you?"

After hearing the price, Hao Yun didn't want to negotiate anymore. The other party wasn't sincere; there were plenty of other houses available.

"Are there any other houses like this? Take me to see them."

The salesperson who had just arrived nodded hurriedly when he heard there was hope, and then asked the newcomer to take Hao Yun over to see.

Chapter 14 A Messy Life

The real estate agent was a seasoned veteran. He noticed that Hao Yun was interested in the newcomer, so he immediately arranged for the two of them to leave together.

After looking at several more houses, Hao Yun was not satisfied with any of them. However, when he saw the fourth house, he was quite pleased and inquired about the price.

“Mr. Hao, I advise you not to buy this room; the feng shui is bad.”

Hao Yun became interested and asked for details.

“This room has been sitting here for a long time. It was rented out before, but several tenants all ran into trouble. So the owner was in a hurry to sell, but no one dared to buy it. Since Mr. Hao is sincere about buying the house, I can’t cheat you.”

Because the young girl was the one leading the way, she didn't know about this, which is why she brought Hao Yun here. As a long-time salesman, he dared not sell the house to Hao Yun, otherwise it would be difficult to handle if something went wrong.

"Okay, then take me to see the others."

Since the house was so ominous, Hao Yun didn't want to bring bad luck upon himself. What if he really had bad luck and it affected his time travel? That would be game over.

After browsing around several times, Hao Yun finally found a house he liked. The original price was 11.2 million yuan, but after the salesperson's mediation, the final price was 10.8 million yuan.

Having bought a house and a car, Hao Yun felt he had reached the pinnacle of his life.

Lying on the living room sofa, Hao Yun was like a salted fish, too lazy to even turn over.

"Modern society is so much better!"

Stretching, Hao Yun took a bottle of soda from the kitchen refrigerator and chugdredged up half of it in one go.

Living in Ip Man's era for thirty days, Hao Yun found many things unsuitable. There was no convenient and quick takeout, no crispy and delicious chicken wings, and no spicy strips that left a lingering fragrance in his mouth.

Tearing open a bag of spicy strips, Hao Yun lay back down on the sofa and took out his phone to start watching videos.

"Junk food smells so good!"

After throwing away the packaging bag, Hao Yun prepared to go out for a hearty meal. After all, what is life all about but food, clothing, shelter, and transportation?

Driving his beloved sports car, Hao Yun headed straight to a barbecue restaurant he used to frequent; enjoying skewers and beer in the summer is the way to live.

Look at those kebabs, they're slightly charred on the outside and still oozing oil. They're sprinkled with sesame seeds and chili powder. One bite and you'll find them crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, leaving a lingering fragrance in your mouth.

Then look at those oysters, sizzling as they grill, topped with sauce, bright red chili flakes, a touch of scallion, and minced garlic soaked in sesame oil. One bite, and the satisfaction is incredible!

Without saying a word, Hao Yun wiped his drool, parked the Lamborghini on the side of the road, found an empty table, and sat down.

The people eating barbecue there were seeing someone drive a sports car to eat at a street stall for the first time.

"Boss, twenty lamb, twenty beef, ten oysters, and a stack of beer."

"Okay, the beer is in the freezer, help yourself."

Hao Yun frequented this shop, so the owner didn't stand on ceremony and let Hao Yun do it himself.

Alright.

Hao Yun went inside and brought out six bottles of ice-cold beer, a large mug of beer, and a serving of edamame.

"Xiao Hao, did you win the lottery? Or are you just pretending to be low-key with your uncle? Why did you drive a sports car today?"

The boss placed the meat skewers on Hao Yun's table and asked with a smile.

Those who were whispering just moments before now pricked up their ears and began eavesdropping.

"Oh! Uncle Wang, what are you saying? Do I look like a rich kid? I just made a small fortune."

"I knew you were a promising young man. You eat first, I'll go grill some oysters for you."

The owner wiped the sweat from his brow with a towel and turned to grill the oysters.

Thump!

A crisp crashing sound rang out, and Hao Yun turned his head to see a person lying next to his sports car.

Hao Yun wiped his mouth and hurriedly ran over to check. It was a girl riding an electric bike who had bumped into the rear of his sports car while reversing.

Are you alright?

Seeing the little girl sitting on the ground with her eyes fixed on something, Hao Yun waved his hand in front of her eyes.

The girl was quite young, looking to be only sixteen or seventeen years old, just a high school student.

By this time, a crowd had gathered around, and some people were even recording with their phones. Hao Yun turned his head and glanced at them, frowning slightly.

"Hey, little girl, are you alright?"

Hao Yun pushed the electric bike aside, squatted down to check on the little girl's condition, and looked for any bumps or bruises.

As soon as Hao Yun squatted down, the little girl burst into tears. She knew she had caused trouble; the car in front of her looked expensive, and she couldn't afford to pay for it.

When Hao Yun saw the little girl crying, he assumed she had broken her arms or legs.

Where are you hurt?

The little girl didn't respond, and Hao Yun didn't dare to move her. What if her bones were dislocated, and he caused further injury by helping her up? So he took out his phone to call 120.

At this point, the onlookers kept whispering and talking, saying all sorts of things, and some even tried to stir up trouble.

"Look, the guy driving the sports car got hit by the little girl, and now he's probably on the phone looking for someone."

"This guy looks like a rich kid, he's definitely not a good person."

Although these people didn't speak loudly, Hao Yun wasn't deaf.

"What are you filming for? Can't you just call an ambulance instead of watching the show and making sarcastic remarks!"

Hao Yun was annoyed to encounter something like this while he was out having a nice meal.

After dialing 120, Hao Yun gave the address and then began to comfort the little girl who was sitting on the ground crying.

"I called for an ambulance, and it will be here soon."

After crying for a while, the little girl finally calmed down, took out her phone from her pocket, and said timidly.

Can I make a phone call home?

Hao Yun was stumped by the girl's question. Why are you calling home and asking me why?

"Hey Dad, I accidentally hit someone's car just now."

Even from a distance, Hao Yun could hear the voice on the other end of the phone.

"Honey! Are you alright? Where are you? I'm coming right away."

After a brief exchange, the girl handed the phone to Hao Yun.
