Kapitel 222

Qin Chu scoffed.

Levi leaned close to his ear: "Really, it's a size too small."

Qin Chu raised his foot and kicked him in the knee. Levi jumped a step, which made him angry, but he immediately got serious and said, "While you were taking a shower, I contacted the mainframe on my personal terminal."

"How is the situation?" Qin Chu asked.

“I couldn’t get in touch with him,” Levy said.

Qin Chu frowned.

Can't we contact the mastermind this way?

What was the purpose of the mastermind throwing them into a world exactly like reality and then swapping their identities?

exchange……

Thinking about this, Qin Chu paused and turned to look at Levi.

Levi was taken aback by his stare, then smiled and asked, "What's wrong? You look like you've discovered a new continent."

“You said it yourself, we’re switching identities now.” Qin Chu turned around directly, half-lifting his eyelids to look at Levi.

“Yes.” Levy nodded.

"Your identity is the captain of the First Warship, and I am the leader of the Black Spider Star Pirate Gang," Qin Chu continued.

Levy kept nodding, not understanding what he was trying to say.

"Oh, how come I didn't know you were a space pirate?" Qin Chu looked at him coolly.

Levy: "..."

"The Black Spider Pirates, they're quite famous, aren't they?" Qin Chu's tone grew even colder.

"No, really... Don't associate me with that disgusting pirate crew," Levy immediately clarified.

Qin Chu didn't speak, she just stared at him.

Levi sighed and reached out to grip Qin Chu's shoulder: "I'm telling you the truth, but you're not allowed to disbelieve me."

"You go first," Qin Chu gestured with his chin.

“I do have a small pirate crew, but our business is just transporting local specialties between the Empire and other small alliances,” Levy said. “As for the Black Spider Pirates… the Mastermind probably associates me with them because our ships often fly their flag?”

"Hmm?" Qin Chu frowned. "Why are you hanging their flag?"

Levi touched the tip of his nose sheepishly: "When being chased by the Ministry of Defense or the military, you always have to cover yourself up."

"..." Qin Chu stared at him speechlessly. Although he was prepared, he was still taken aback by the guy's shamelessness.

“This pirate group has connections with some illegal laboratories and often transports orphans to be sold as test subjects.” Levi doesn’t like to meddle in other people’s business and doesn’t have much of a sense of justice, but this pirate group just happened to hit the spot he cares about most.

So Levy didn't mind causing some trouble for this pirate crew and attracting some hatred.

To his surprise, Qin Chu was not taken aback by his words; instead, he nodded and said, "I know."

"Hmm?" Levy raised an eyebrow.

Qin Chu slightly curled the corners of his lips: "In the real world, the Black Spider Pirate Gang has been captured. I caught them."

After saying that, Qin Chu turned and walked forward.

Levi paused for two seconds, then realized what was happening, and laughed as he took two steps to catch up: "Oh, you're trying to trick me?"

"It's just to get some information to determine your sentence, to see how many years you can get," Qin Chu said.

Levi then truly realized that he had actually found himself dating the top military official. He leaned closer, grinning mischievously, and asked, "What if the sentence is too long?"

Qin Chu glanced at him: "There's a special prison on the first warship. Stay there."

Levi chuckled: "That's perfect, then we can see each other every day."

The two continued walking forward.

At this moment, Qin Chu had clearly forgotten his identity again. Despite wearing electronic handcuffs, he still swaggered ahead.

Levy didn't warn him either, and just kept falling behind.

He met Qin Chu in the virtual world, so this was the first time he had seen Qin Chu working.

Levy thought he would find it boring.

To his surprise, when he saw Qin Chu sitting in the captain's office in military uniform, giving orders with a serious expression, he just wanted to pin him down on the desk.

Tsk, so serious, so indifferent.

Isn't that too tempting?

But in this world, he also realized that his position was opposed to Qin Chu's.

"Hey." Levi hooked Qin Chu's finger.

"What?" Qin Chu turned to look at him.

“After I get out, I’ll disband the pirate crew,” Levy said.

Qin Chu was taken aback, not expecting Levi to say that.

He wasn't surprised at all that Levi had been a space pirate; in his mind, this guy would probably be more suited to being called an interstellar fugitive as well.

After all, Levy needed to contend with decades of relentless pursuit by the cabinet, and he needed to have his own power base.

But now, Levi is going to disband the pirate crew just because he asked a question.

Qin Chu was at a loss for words.

“If we disband, you’ll support me.” Levi leaned closer and rested his chin on his shoulder. “From now on, I’ll stay on the First Warship and live off you.”

"Have you no shame?" Qin Chu laughed and scolded.

"that……"

Qin Chu was about to say something when he was interrupted by the person in front of him.

He looked up and saw Burke and several other familiar subordinates staring at him and Levy with complicated expressions.

Their fingers were still hooked together.

Levy's chin was still resting on his shoulder...

"Cough." Qin Chu put a finger to his lips, trying to shake Levi off his shoulder, and said in a low voice, "Have some shame."

Levi remained glued to him, without moving an inch.

The expressions on the faces of the subordinates in front of him gradually shifted from strange to numb, as if they were used to it.

Someone couldn't help but whisper, "Don't you think that compared to this pirate leader, our captain seems like a knock-off?"

"Go see what they confiscated." Qin Chu nudged Levi, signaling him to get down to business.

Levy stretched and dawdled over to the boxes.

Qin Chu wasn't sure if the mastermind's purpose was related to the stolen goods, so after hesitating for two seconds, he followed them over.

“Most of them are smuggled planetary specialties, nothing special. Judging from their route, they probably finished selling the stolen goods and left. These are all leftover goods that nobody wants,” Burke interjected.

Qin Chu glanced at it but couldn't see anything special.

As a true space pirate, Levy was far more professional than them. He reached into the box and rummaged around for a bit: "Hey, this time the goods are pretty good."

These words sounded so frivolous, completely unlike those of a proper general, that they immediately drew the attention of Burke and the others.

Qin Chu quietly kicked him again, signaling him to behave.

Levi smiled, then straightened his face, took the roster from his subordinate, glanced at it, and said, "Hmm, there are indeed no dangerous items."

But he was serious for only two seconds before he started to drift off again, unable to resist reaching out and picking through the pile of strange and unusual things.

After fiddling with it for a while, Levi saw something that looked like a fountain pen and raised his eyebrows in slight surprise.

He has never followed any rules and has done a lot of double-crossing.

Wearing his familiar space pirate protective suit and facing a large pile of smuggled goods, Levy easily slipped into his usual role.

He picked it up casually, like selecting a trophy, twirled it between his fingers, and swaggered into his pocket.

"There's nothing to investigate. Let's go ask those space pirates later. Let's go." With that, he pulled Qin Chu away.

Halfway there, I realized something was wrong.

The people present wore expressions that were hard to describe, and their eyes all turned to Levy's pocket.

Levy raised an eyebrow, unsure what was wrong.

Qin Chu rubbed his temples and reminded him, "You're not allowed to pocket the stolen goods."

Levi: "..." Why so many rules? What he stole is all his anyway.

All right.

To maintain his image as General Qin Chu, Levi clicked his tongue and threw the things back.

Burke looked at it with disbelief: "It looks even more like a bootleg."

After leaving the storage room, the two interrogated the captured space pirates.

To avoid suspicion, Qin Chu waited outside, and Levi came out of the lower-level prison after a while.

"How is it?" Qin Chu asked.

"The environment is nice, and the place is quite large; it's a suitable place to live permanently," Levy said.

"...I asked about the interrogation, not how your life in prison was." Qin Chu was somewhat speechless.

Levi chuckled before continuing, "At first, everyone was tight-lipped, asking me where the boss was."

"Hmm?" Qin Chu raised an eyebrow.

“I told them I ate them, and they were all terrified and spilled everything they knew,” Levy said.

Qin Chu: "...Are your subordinates really that incompetent?"
