Kapitel 3

Su Jinning, unable to bear it any longer, reached out and slammed Huang Mao's beef noodles over, and the scene immediately fell silent.

Then he roared, "If you want to fight, go outside! Don't disturb my noodles, okay?"

He just came to eat a bowl of noodles because he was hungry, but somehow he always manages to run into all sorts of trouble.

The thugs behind the blond-haired man exchanged glances, then all stood up simultaneously, chattering, "Who the hell are you?" "Which gang are you from? What's your relationship with us?"

"Who am I?" Su Jinning smirked. "What the hell do you care who I am? If you want to find out, go ask around, don't you understand?"

Huang Mao was so angry that he was speechless, and in a fit of rage, he swung a beer bottle to smash it.

The blond-haired man moved extremely fast and was very close to him, so Su Jinning really didn't have time to dodge.

Out of reflex, Su Jinning suddenly raised her arm to shield her ear. But just as the bottle was about to hit her, she heard the sound of it shattering.

He lowered his arm to look, and saw that Shen Moyu, who had fallen to the side earlier, was now standing next to him, raising his arm to shield him from the beer bottle.

Su Jinning stared wide-eyed in disbelief at Shen Moyu's thin wrist, where the glass cut on the fair skin, where even the veins were clearly visible, was vivid and glaring.

"He's just a customer. You're the ones who dislike me, what does it have to do with him?"

Su Jinning could only see his profile; his hat brim was pulled low, obscuring the dim yellow light, leaving only a clear outline. Even though he was pale with pain, he remained calm and composed.

"A customer?" the blond-haired man sneered. "I'd like to know what your relationship is, one of you protecting the other..."

Before Huang Mao could finish speaking, Su Jinning raised her fist, a cold gust of wind passing by Shen Moyu's ear, and slammed it into Huang Mao's face.

Su Jinning's bloodshot eyes suddenly flashed with a piercing cold light: "What the hell is your relationship with me that you care about me so much?"

His girlfriend had never seen anything like this before. Seeing the disheveled blond man lying on the ground, covering his left cheek, she was so frightened that she didn't dare to utter a sound.

The younger brothers behind him were also a little weak in the knees, but there were still more of them than Su Jinning and his companion, so after thinking it over, they rushed forward.

In an instant, the noodle shop was filled with the sounds of fighting. Seven or eight people were in a chaotic mess, tables and chairs were overturned, plates and bowls were smashed, and the once peaceful noodle shop was completely ripped open.

Shen Moyu was restrained by the fat man behind him. The guy was too big to break free, so he simply turned around and slammed his knee into the fat man's groin.

The hat that had been worn for a long time slipped off with the movement.

Su Jinning grabbed the blond-haired man by the neck, and in her panic, she suddenly chuckled, turning her head to Shen Moyu, revealing a small tiger tooth that didn't match his fierce temperament: "Hey, what's your name?"

Shen Moyu, who was busy fighting to the death with the fat man, couldn't help but wonder if there was something wrong with his brain. He had time to ask other people's names while fighting. He had never seen such a person before.

"Shen Moyu," he replied while catching his breath.

"Huh?" The scene was too chaotic for Su Jinning to hear clearly: "What...fish?"

“…” Shen Moyu.

What he could confirm was that Su Jinning's mind really wasn't working very well.

Su Jinning was so focused on looking back at Shen Moyu that she didn't notice the blond-haired guy biting her finger.

He jumped up immediately: "Holy crap, you bite me!"

Author's Note:

Long time no see. After revising this article for so long, I'm finally back to meet you all today.

Since canceling my pen name last time, I've gone back and reorganized the outline and ideas, reflected on my shortcomings, and revised many details in the text. Today, I've decided to republish it, and I really hope to bring everyone a better reading experience than before.

My writing skills still need improvement, so please bear with me.

It's past midnight today.

Chapter 2 The Rich, Foolish, and Handsome Guy

"Stop fighting here! Get out!" Shen Moyu suddenly remembered that they were still inside the store, so he touched Su Jinning's arm and dragged the thugs across the street outside.

The crowd outside the noodle shop grew larger and larger, from whispering to boldly taking out their phones to take pictures. Even the owner of the rice noodle shop next door brought her employees to watch the excitement.

For the first time, Shen Moyu felt like a monkey performing acrobatics in a zoo.

The blond-haired man wouldn't give up, still grabbing Su Jinning's trouser leg and cursing through gritted teeth, his words revealing his deep hatred for Su Jinning.

Su Jinning didn't tolerate it. Every time he cursed, Su Jinning would punch him a few times. The blond-haired guy could still fight back after a few words, but in the end, he didn't even have the strength to pull on Su Jinning's trouser leg.

The scene was still chaotic. The shop owner, who had just come downstairs, had never encountered anything like this before. Looking at her shop, now a pile of junk, she almost burst into tears. She frantically shouted, "Stop! Stop hitting them! I've already called the police!"

Upon hearing the words "call the police," the blond-haired man immediately let go of Su Jinning's trouser leg as if his pants were on fire. He covered his bleeding left cheek and scrambled through the crowd to get out.

The remaining few, leaderless, also ran out in a panic.

But it was too late. Outside the crowd, three or four police cars arrived at the scene, their sirens blaring urgently and solemnly throughout the alley. All the onlookers took out their phones and filmed the scene.

"Don't move! Police!"

One of the older, middle-aged policemen said, tugging at the collar of the blond-haired man.

Amidst the noisy crowd, Shen Moyu gradually calmed down, put on a baseball cap to cover her face, and tried to avoid the cameras of the elderly men and women.

After a long while, he couldn't utter a single word.

Su Jinning remained expressionless, only sighing slightly, and obediently allowed the police to lead her into the car.

The stifling heat emanated a gasoline smell, which Shen Moyu found unpleasant, causing her arms to droop listlessly.

If I'm not mistaken, he will never have the chance to come to this store in his lifetime.

He glanced at Su Jinning beside him, but felt it was unrealistic.

He was actually used to these thugs causing trouble time and time again. He had been thinking that he could just tolerate it and it would pass, but today he caused such a big disaster due to a moment of impulsiveness.

Shen Moyu buried his face in the brim of his hat and closed his eyes tightly.

The rain hadn't stopped and the police station, bathed in dim yellow light, felt eerily cold.
