Kapitel 105

He lowered his head, looking like he was about to cry.

It is precisely because he is such an unconditionally gentle person that he is so hopelessly fond of him.

Is homosexuality really disgusting?

But why are even the teachers so crazy?

If homosexuality is considered insane, then love itself is the embodiment of madness. No matter how unconventional his love may be, isn't it still love?

"Shen Moyu." Su Jinning called his name softly, looked up, and gazed deeply into his face: "If one day I told you I'm gay," his voice trembled, "what would you do?"

The school bell shattered the silence, and a commotion erupted around them.

Amidst the clamor of voices and the chaotic footsteps of the students, Shen Moyu still managed to hear Su Jinning's irregular breathing.

Anxious, uneasy, frantic, and somewhat... afraid.

Were these emotions hidden in his breath because of his own honesty? Or because of someone else?

Shen Moyu lowered his eyes, his lips turning white from being bitten.

The atmosphere remained quiet until no one was around, and no one was in a hurry to get an answer. The silence between them continued until the world went quiet.

Shen Moyu closed his eyes briefly, and when he looked up, a bright smile suddenly bloomed on his face, reflecting in Su Jinning's deep eyes and sparkling.

He raised his hand and ruffled Su Jinning's messy hair, his voice gentle: "Is it because of this that you're anxious?"

Su Jinning didn't speak, but her shoulders trembled slightly.

Shen Moyu grasped his hand in her own.

Su Jinning was startled and tried to pull away, but Shen Moyu held her firmly, just as he had unexpectedly captured her heart.

"It's not a matter of what's wrong or what's wrong. What matters most is that you like it yourself." He smiled, which surprised Su Jinning, but also made her feel at ease.

Shen Moyu gripped his hand tightly: "It's not shameful."

Su Jinning wanted to hear what he had to say, but Shen Moyu simply took his hand and led him up the steps.

The building was very tall, and the corridor was very long. Shen Moyu held his hand the whole way, using her warm body heat and constant silence to gradually soothe Su Jinning's unease and fear.

Su Jinning knew that Shen Moyu's unfinished words had transformed into fragmented tenderness, gently caressing him. This was more beautiful than any words could have been spoken.

Chapter 43 Reenactment

"The weather's been bad lately, so everyone make sure to bring your umbrellas!" Jin Shuoshuo wiped the last equation left on the blackboard and turned to remind the students who were packing their bags.

"I know," the students replied politely, their voices trailing off as if expressing their weariness of the day.

Jin Shuoshuo put his phone into his backpack, nodded, and left.

"Hurry up and finish your duty. We still need to go to Teacher Han An's to get the ball back later." Shen Moyu said as she walked towards Su Jinning, carrying her backpack.

Su Jinning shuddered slightly as if he had been electrocuted when he heard Han An's name. He still couldn't quite accept the fact that Han An and Song Chengnan were a couple.

Seeing him lost in thought, Shen Moyu gently patted him and said, "What are you daydreaming about?"

"Hey, Ning-ge, the academic genius! We're leaving first!" Chen Hang called out to the two of them, spinning a basketball in one hand and putting his other hand on Song Wenmiao's shoulder.

"Oh, okay." Su Jinning replied casually, stiffly stood up and went to the back door locker to get a broom.

Seeing Su Jinning looking completely out of sorts, Song Wenmiao scratched his head in confusion, patted Chen Hang on the shoulder, and leaned over to ask in a low voice, "What's wrong with Ning-ge? Did something happen to you?"

Chen Hang followed his gaze and looked over carefully. He saw Su Jinning absentmindedly sweeping the ground with a broom, her gloomy mood written all over her face.

He shook his head: "I really don't know, but judging from this, it seems to be more serious than just being stimulated."

"Tsk tsk tsk." Song Wenmiao shook his head with heartache: "Maybe it's because of what happened this morning that Sister Jin made things difficult for him?"

“But I was there when Sister Jin was scolding him, and I didn’t make things difficult for Brother Ning.” Chen Hang waved his hand, firmly denying Song Wenmiao’s guess.

Song Wenmiao stood blocking the back doorway, staring curiously at Su Jinning. Suddenly, as if remembering something, she said, "So, you had another fight with the top student?"

"Alright, if you're so curious, why don't you just report it to the police?" Shen Moyu appeared behind them at some point and nudged them with a broom handle.

"Ouch! You scared me to death, you academic genius!" Chen Hang yelled, clutching his back and backing away in pain.

Song Wenmiao was also quite frightened. He wiped his sweat and said, "I was just worried about Brother Ning."

"Worried?" Shen Moyu looked them up and down, then rolled her eyes and squeezed through the gap between them into the classroom: "If you have nothing to do, go home and do some math problems. Don't be curious about useless things."

Chen Hang and Song Wenmiao pursed their lips helplessly. Knowing they wouldn't get an answer, they could only slink away.

The classroom is cleaned every day, so it wasn't too difficult to clean. The two of them finished all the work in twenty minutes and were ready to go downstairs to get the ball.

"I won't go, I'll go, I'll wait for you at the door..." Su Jinning took a step back and stood at the classroom door.

"What's wrong?" Shen Moyu turned to look at him.

"It's nothing, I'm just tired from cleaning and don't want to move." Su Jinning gave a fake smile and looked away.

Shen Moyu sighed, already somewhat used to his unusual behavior throughout the day: "Alright, then wait for me here." Seeing Su Jinning nod, he turned and walked towards Han An's office.

Su Jinning watched Shen Moyu's departing figure and breathed a sigh of relief. She really didn't want to see Han An; he had overheard that incident, and she truly didn't know how to face these two teachers.

Just as he was feeling frustrated, a sudden pain shot through his stomach, and he bent over abruptly, yelling, "Damn it!" He then pulled out some gastritis medicine from his bag and swallowed it without even drinking any water.

He looked at the empty strip of medicine in his hand and thought about buying more after school, but there was no pharmacy near his home. His dad had recently confiscated his motorcycle, and it would probably take a long time to walk there.

Too lazy to move, he simply clutched his throbbing stomach and headed toward the school clinic.

Shen Moyu walked alone to the quiet fourth floor. Apart from the sound of senior students reading aloud during evening self-study on the fifth and sixth floors, the campus was completely empty and quiet.

He walked to the door of Han An's office, knocked, and for a moment, only the deathly silence of the corridor answered him.

He knocked on the door again, but to no avail; the person was probably off work and not in the office.
