Chapter 484

The child's eyes were full of wisdom. After glancing at the old woman's body, he bowed three times, but that was all.

Then began his legendary life. From birth, he possessed extraordinary wisdom, understood many principles, and his talent for cultivation was astonishing.

Sometimes, he would have an epiphany while traveling and enjoying nature. Sometimes, he would have an epiphany while reading or painting. And sometimes, he would have an epiphany simply by waking up after doing nothing.

He hadn't really cultivated much, yet his cultivation level was rising like a rocket.

As for what followed, it was much like what happened to the Yellow Emperor back then. Everything went incredibly smoothly, even more smoothly than the legendary Long Aotian!

Later, when Lao Tzu was about to attain enlightenment, that is, when he left Hangu Pass to the west and was about to write the Tao Te Ching, Lin Yang appeared.

He discussed the Dao with Lao Tzu, explored issues of humanity and systems, and sought the path most suitable for the people and for humanity. In short, he explored many things.

There were some gains, including a deeper understanding of Da Luo. Then, Lin Yang resorted to his old trick, beginning to observe the lives of Confucius and Sun Tzu...

Chapter 79: More Rebellions, More Practice, More Summary

Remember me in one second! Fast updates, free to read!

Look at Confucius's life and see his life of frustration and unfulfilled ambitions.

He was born ugly. Around his teenage years, his father, the strongest man in the State of Lu, died in war.

Later, in his prime, he got the opportunity to govern the State of Lu. In a moment of excitement, he killed his enemy, Shao Zhengmao, setting a precedent for striking at political rivals: "If I can't win an argument, I'll destroy your body!"

I wonder if Confucius, who said that the instigator had no descendants, thought of this when he used the power of the court to kill Shao Zhengmao!

Later, the naive Confucius nearly destroyed the State of Lu. Left with no other option, he was driven out. Fleeing Lu in haste, he was disliked and distanced from by both the ruler and the nobles.

At the same time, Lin Yang was also very curious. You see, up until this point, Confucius was truly just an ordinary person, with absolutely no intention of seeking enlightenment—this was truly strange!

Later, the old master began his journey through various states. Just like college students seeking employment in later generations, he sent out his resume everywhere and frequently traveled to different countries to promote himself.

Unfortunately, in the Warring States period, using Confucianism to govern the country was tantamount to courting disaster; it was simply a sign of madness!

After all, other countries are trying to strengthen their power and military strength. Whether it is Legalism, the School of Military Strategists, or even the Mohists and the Agriculturalists, they can all directly enhance the strength of the country. Only Confucianism, well...

Even worse, when he was on a bad day, he was once besieged by a large army near the State of Chu, supposedly because they didn't want him to get in.

However, perhaps the old master himself was an optimist, or perhaps he was very optimistic, and the hardships did not discourage him, but instead he continued to teach and take on disciples.

In the end, he grew old and eventually died of old age. But there was nothing extraordinary about him; even at the time of his death, there was no sign of him having attained the Great Luo realm.

"What's going on here? Wasn't Confucius also a Great Luo Immortal? Isn't this the world where he attained enlightenment?" The ruthless man was very puzzled. The peak of the seventh rank was nothing at all!

However, things soon changed. After his death, perhaps due to his unwavering will, or perhaps due to his unwillingness to accept defeat, his body underwent a transformation immediately. Initially, it transformed into a Qilin, and finally, it transformed into an aura that suppressed all laws and swept across the heavens—righteous energy.

Upon seeing this aura, Lin Yang understood.

"This is the source of righteous energy, and also the source of power for Confucian scholars throughout the world. Perhaps, when it appeared, the old master's cultivation had only advanced to the half-step eighth level. However, as the number of Confucian scholars increased, the amount of righteous energy also increased."

"When the number of righteous energy reaches a certain level, it begins to spread to other worlds. Eventually, it spreads wider and wider, promoting the evolution of humanity and receiving rewards from humanity, thus naturally attaining enlightenment."

It must be said that Confucius's way of proving the Way is completely different from Lao Tzu's, or rather, they are two completely different methods.

Lao Tzu's teachings are only suitable for exceptional geniuses, or those who have been reincarnated and reborn as exceptional geniuses. Confucius's teachings, on the other hand, are more suitable for the general public.

Even with average talent, as long as you discover a path suited to humanity, you can attain enlightenment over time.

After witnessing the two men's enlightenment, Lin Yang was deeply moved and gained a clearer understanding of his own future path. However, he decided to observe further.

This observation lasted for countless years. After all, when we're constantly traveling through the river of time, who cares exactly how many years have passed?

As for Da Luo, he can freely enter and exit the timeline and even modify it; time has no meaning for him.

Next, Lin Yang observed the path to enlightenment of Qin Shi Huang, the First Emperor. It was truly a path of slaughter and utter bloodshed.

Looking at his life, one word stands out: struggle. He struggled with heaven and earth, with nobles, with enemy countries, and with immortals. Through constant struggle, one day he accumulated enough essence and then attained enlightenment.

In short, every Great Luo Immortal has their own unique characteristics and extraordinary abilities. Even their paths to enlightenment are different. After observing many, one begins to take action.

"Yes, I've made up my mind. It's all about humanity. The essence of humanity lies in change. It evolves and upgrades through constant change. It has been changing since ancient times. As long as you grasp this point, you will naturally gain the favor of humanity."

"Furthermore, worlds where humanity reigns supreme are generally only Yellow-level worlds and some Profound-level worlds. As for Earth-level worlds, there are very few that are purely ruled by humanity. In Heaven-level worlds, Heavenly Dao reigns supreme in almost every one of them."

"Therefore, as long as I can find a way to make the Yellow-level world undergo tremendous changes and evolve frequently, it will be enough to satisfy humanity and thus grant them the fruit. Theoretically speaking, this path is entirely feasible," Lin Yang said firmly.

For some reason, as I was talking, I suddenly had a feeling that came from the bottom up. It was so similar to my own thoughts.

In the Yellow-level world, due to the nature of the world's origin, the upper limit of cultivation is only the second-tier Innate Realm. Therefore, it is generally a classical feudal society.

In such a world, humanity is undoubtedly the protagonist, and the most powerful entity is always the imperial court. Even if Lao Tzu were alive today, or Buddha were reincarnated, they would only be defeated before the imperial army. At most, a few hundred elite soldiers would die, but that would certainly be enough to suppress any dissent.

"I have made up my mind. I will rebel, I will rebel many times, and then I will summarize the key points of rebellion. Finally, I will announce it to the world so that all the people in the world know how to rebel and what the key to success or failure is."

"When every commoner is ready to rebel, the imperial court will naturally not dare to oppress too much, and powerful families and nobles will no longer have any privileges. Of course, there will be many deaths and injuries, but compared with the harmonious life in the future, these sacrifices are acceptable."

More importantly, perhaps in this way, they can actually find a harmonious society that can be accepted by the common people, nobles, emperor, and court through continuous rebellions!

At that time, the imperial court will not dare to oppress the people too much, the privileges of the upper class will not be too blatant, and the emperor will not dare to be too incompetent and tyrannical. This will certainly be a huge step forward for humanity.

Once the experiment is successful, wouldn't I have truly attained enlightenment?

However, before that, we still need to practice, and practice a lot. Most importantly, we must first rebel more and summarize our experiences.
