Beyond the realm, there is a place called Guixu, which is said to be a mysterious land hidden deep in the ocean.
It is said that all the seawater flows there.
Because, in one part of the ancient war between immortals and demons, the battle took place in the Ruins of Return, which shattered this world and connected it to the outer sky and even other dimensions.
Within that Ruins of Return, there are many ancient relics, remnants of the great war between immortals and demons, as well as many treasures, including ancient elixirs, spiritual weapons, magical artifacts, and even Dao artifacts, and the legendary immortal artifacts!
In addition, there are the remains of ancient demon gods, the remnants of celestial demons, the flesh and blood of masters from the Longevity Secret Realm, and countless other treasures hidden within.
However, this Void is extremely dangerous and has a harsh environment. Some of the broken voids there involve spatial changes, and even experts from the Longevity Realm might not be able to come out after entering.
In some of these places, even celestial demons have come from outside the realm and are entrenched there.
Even so, lured by enormous profits, countless righteous and demonic cultivators have ventured into the Ruins of Return over millennia, hoping to obtain ancient treasures, elixirs, flying swords, and all sorts of other valuables.
People only saw the thief eating meat, but they didn't see the thief getting beaten. Indeed, many people had extraordinary encounters, but even more people were caught up in it and died.
In fact, whether one is a disciple of the immortal path or a disciple of the demonic path, the most important thing besides cultivation is to travel the world and search for rare and precious materials.
Ancient ruins are an essential part of cultivation, known as "encountering immortals."
The greater the extraordinary encounter a disciple has, the deeper their "destiny with the immortals."
Those who cultivate the Tao must have great perseverance and persistence to succeed in most of the way, but the other half depends on luck!
The saying "Man proposes, God disposes" certainly applies here!
For an ordinary mortal to cultivate immortality, how difficult is that?
How easy is it to reverse fate and change one's destiny by relying solely on one's own strength?
One must have luck and a connection with the divine, and rely on external forces.
This is also a matter of luck.
Getting back to the main point, after Xiao Ning planted the Jianmu fragment in the Spirit Ruins Realm, he came to this legendary Guixu.
His goal was naturally to find the so-called immortal destiny, but his appetite was much greater than that of ordinary cultivators.
As you venture into the deepest part of the ocean, the climate gradually becomes colder, with icebergs standing tall, some reaching hundreds of feet in height, majestic and magnificent.
Suddenly, Xiao Ning narrowed his eyes. He sensed a surge of demonic energy and looked closely. He saw a large, dark cave on the ice surface in the distance.
But Xiao Ning knew that this was not the ocean; it was pitch black and its destination was unknown.
This pitch-black cave spans dozens of miles in circumference, equivalent to the size of a city called Longyuan, and is terrifyingly dark.
It was as if someone had used boundless supernatural power to directly pierce through the world and lead to another world.
Of course, Xiao Ning knew that this was the Ruins of Return, a passage to another world, leading to that mysterious place beyond the realm.
This passage was forged during the great war between immortals and demons, or perhaps during a war with the gods.
"This is it, we've finally arrived."
Upon seeing this, Xiao Ning immediately leaped down and entered the entrance to the Ruins of Return.
In an instant, a sense of spatial distortion came over, but for Xiao Ning, who frequently travels through countless worlds, it was nothing.
In the blink of an eye, he passed through the passage and appeared before him a desolate and decaying world.
Everywhere was shrouded in a gray mist, devoid of flowers, trees, or human habitation; only mudflats and rotting swamps existed.
One large bubble after another rose in the swampy mud, bursting with a bang and releasing even more gray mist.
This mist seemed to possess some kind of demonic power, constantly shifting and coalescing into various grotesque faces.
"Caw! Caw! Caw!"
"Chirp! Chirp!"
One after another, the demons moved in and out of the boundless swamp, absorbing the demonic energy from the bubbles and making countless sounds of communication.
The sky was filled with black holes, and apart from that, one could see twinkling stars.
Xiao Ning had come from one of the black holes. At this moment, demons kept flying out of those black holes, grabbing all sorts of creatures and throwing them into the swamp.
At first glance, it looks like a giant beehive, with male bees constantly returning from outside to collect nectar, which is then enjoyed by the queen bee.
"Bang!"
A celestial demon captured a giant whale from the deep sea and threw it into the swamp.
Instantly, the whale was swallowed by the swamp, and then a large bubble rose up and burst open with a bang, shooting out blood-red mist from within.
Countless demons immediately pounced on it, sucking all the blood-red mist into it.
Subsequently, their auras seemed to grow considerably stronger.
This swamp, forged from the rotting flesh and blood of countless living beings, is called the Flesh and Blood Mud Pool.
Legend has it that this bloody swamp was formed by a demon god who corroded a small star with the flesh and blood of countless living beings, and then it became the secret base of the demon army.
This star, because of the Return to Emptiness Channel, can directly reach the Xuanhuang Great World.
Therefore, these celestial demons reside here, and then use the Return to Emptiness Passage to prey on living beings in the Xuanhuang Great World, throwing them into the blood and flesh swamp to transform into pure blood energy to nourish themselves.
"Although I am not a native of the Xuanhuang Great World, you parasites of the world should all die!"
