Feng Shui - Chapter 49

Chapter 49

“Back when you hadn’t yet started cultivating, I met you once, but you were drowning and unconscious at the time, so you didn’t recognize me,” Li Zhanghao said with a smile.

"I see," Zhou Feiliu replied with a smile.

"I didn't expect your cultivation level to be so high, and your boyfriend's cultivation level is not low either. How did you two manage to do that?" Li Zhanghao asked curiously.

"Didn't you eat the fruit from the tree in front of my house?" Zhou Feiliu asked curiously.

"This...this..." Li Zhanghao was a little embarrassed to answer.

Because his identity was that of a direct descendant of the Demon Realm, accompanying Sugar Water to investigate the feng shui's movements. Therefore, it was impossible for him to show himself and contact other people.

"Your boyfriend seems to have some issues!" Tang Shui deliberately changed the subject, looking at Yu Duotian next to Zhou Feiliu and asking curiously.

"Him... sigh, he was too eager for quick success in his cultivation, so he went astray... his head was a little irritated!" Zhou Feiliu looked at Yu Duotian with some resentment and said helplessly.

Yu Duotian nodded blankly to the side, it was unclear whether he truly understood that people were saying he was a little slow on the uptake.

"By the way, may I ask your names?" Zhou Feiliu asked.

"My name is Li Zhanghao, and this is my girlfriend, Tangshui!" Li Zhanghao introduced himself, while also introducing Tangshui.

Seeing this situation, Ling Suzi, Haomiao Zhenren, and Huachenzi, being seasoned veterans, naturally wanted to make more friends and avoid creating more enemies. Judging from Zhou Feiliu's strength in splitting the lightning, all three knew that befriending Zhou Feiliu would give them an edge in the cultivation world.

"Hello, nice to meet you. I am Ling Suzi from Kunlun Cave Heaven Pavilion, Haomiao Zhenren from Chixian Peak of Mount Hua, and Huachenzi from Penglai Immortal Spirit Island," the three introduced themselves at the same time.

"Kunlun? Mount Hua? Penglai? I've been to these three places. I never expected to find cultivators there." Zhou Feiliu exclaimed in surprise.

The three were somewhat embarrassed and offered no further explanation. Because Zhou Feiliu, who had once been an ordinary person, had no way of having come into contact with people in the cultivation world. Therefore, even if she had been to those three places, she would never have seen where cultivators resided.

"The feng shui is no longer there. I wonder what your plans are?" Li Zhanghao asked regretfully from the side.

"Hehe... Feng shui will never die." Zhou Feiliu looked at Li Zhanghao mysteriously and said meaningfully.

"How is that possible? He was taken away by ghosts and spirits from the underworld!" Li Zhanghao asked, puzzled.

"Hehe... There are some things you can't understand. If you want to know why, you can ask this enchanting fairy next to you," Zhou Feiliu said mysteriously with a wicked smile.

Li Zhanghao looked at Tangshui, but didn't say anything. From the time he met Tangshui until now, Li Zhanghao knew that Tangshui had been hiding many things from him. However, Li Zhanghao had never questioned her. He always hoped to move Tangshui with his true love, hoping that one day she would tell him everything. At this moment, in front of so many people, he didn't want others to see him as a fool who had been deceived.

"Now that we all know each other, let's keep in touch. Remember to let us know if there's anything good. We have to go now, bye-bye everyone!" Although Zhou Feiliu had entered the cultivation world, he still couldn't shake off the worldly habits he had as a mortal.

Without saying anything more, Zhou Feiliu grabbed Yu Duotian and flew away quickly.

Seeing that Zhou Feiliu and Yu Duotian had disappeared, Li Zhanghao turned around, politely bid farewell to Ling Suzi and the other two, and left with the sweet soup. Everyone went their separate ways, and the place returned to its tranquility, yet the desolation ravaged by the great battle remained undeniable.

The underworld...

Inside the Yellow Springs Palace, Feng Shui lay unconscious on the ground, while the ghostly spirit who had brought him there knelt on one knee beside him, looking ahead with a respectful expression.

"Go down!" Zi Yang's voice rang out in the main hall.

The ghosts and spirits of the underworld bowed respectfully and then disappeared into the hall. Wearing a classical long robe similar in style to the one Huang Quan wore in the underworld, Zi Yang now appeared breathtakingly beautiful, almost too stunning to look directly at. However, within this beautiful atmosphere, she also seemed to be scrutinizing Feng Shui, her hand unconsciously caressing his body as if she couldn't bear to part with him.

"We meet again so soon..." Zi Yang said softly.

However, Feng Shui remained unconscious and was unable to answer her questions.

"Now the entire Netherworld has been sealed away again. No matter if it's a god, immortal, demon, or any other life form, none can come here without my permission and the guidance of the Netherworld spirits. Even teleportation arrays cannot break the Netherworld's seal. I have finally become the master of this realm, yet there are still some things I can't remember. As for you, although I feel a sense of familiarity, we only met once before. But this familiarity feels like we've known each other for a very, very long time. This feeling is so strange… Bringing you here was my intention. Now your demonic body has been fully activated. However, with your current cultivation power, you cannot fully control this body. If you force the use of the demonic body too much, it will have a negative impact on your cultivation level. Although your foundation is quite solid, it's best…" "It's better to start from scratch to make better use of this hard-won demonic body. The Yellow Springs of the past erased your memories, further stimulating your cultivation power. But don't worry, I won't do that. I only want to suppress your abilities so that you can better unleash the power of the demonic body in your later cultivation. I've already arranged your remaining cultivation path. It was another friend from a long, long time ago who instructed me to do this. He seems to care about you a lot, and the same about me. It seems like you, that friend, and I were together a long, long time ago. But I just can't remember… Once I remember, I'll help you remove the restriction placed on you. If you can break this restriction beforehand, I think that will be the moment when the three of us truly face each other together…" Zi Yang gently looked at the feng shui before her and spoke softly to herself.

A mysterious smile appeared on Zi Yang's lips, and a blood-red light appeared in her hand that was resting on Feng Shui's body, imprinting itself on Feng Shui's back and disappearing in an instant.

At this moment, the ghostly figure from before reappeared in the Yellow Springs Palace, still maintaining that respectful posture of kneeling on one knee.

“Take him back to the human world and, according to my design, give him a new background as an ordinary person…” Zi Yang said softly.

The ghostly spirit nodded, picked up the feng shui from the ground, and disappeared.

The human world...

The alarm rang at 6:30, and Feng Shui woke up groggily. He instinctively placed his hand on the alarm clock on the bedside table, and the clock stopped ringing. Feng Shui lazily got out of bed, put on his underwear, and folded the blankets. Yawning repeatedly, he walked sleepily towards the bathroom outside the bedroom.

He picked up yesterday's newspaper from the coffee table in the living room, lazily walked into the bathroom, and sat on the toilet to relieve himself.

I idly flipped through the newspaper, looking for the entertainment section. The first thing I do this morning is feast my eyes on pictures of beautiful women. Still no bowel movement; looks like my recent lifestyle has been irregular—constipation…

Still in a dazed state, Feng Shui got up, pulled up his pants, and left the bathroom for the kitchen. He took a tub of chilled cola from the refrigerator, poured himself a glass, and drank it all in one gulp, instantly clearing his head. He then brushed his teeth, washed his face, shaved, changed his clothes, put on his shoes, took his phone from the charger, and left the house.

A cold wind blew across Feng Shui's cheek, causing him to shiver. He tightened his coat, took out a pack of "Fu" brand cigarettes from his pocket, and lit one. He took a deep drag and felt much more real.

He hurried downstairs and headed towards the street where the company shuttle bus was located. Around him were early risers rushing to work, but Feng Shui paid them no heed, only caring if he spotted one or two pretty women among them. However, he noticed that in winter, the women were all bundled up like dumplings, their figures utterly devoid of any beauty. Passing a newsstand, Feng Shui bought a copy of today's newspaper, habitually flipping to the gossip section and casually glancing at it as he walked. In no time, he reached the company shuttle bus stop, boarded as usual, and found himself alone besides the driver. Looks like he was early again today.

I habitually sat down in a familiar seat, glanced out the window at the snow-covered landscape and the people who had to squeeze onto buses to get to work, and suddenly realized how lucky I was.

Suddenly, a look of surprise flashed in Feng Shui's eyes. He looked at himself with extreme shock, then looked around and was stunned.

"What am I doing!" the feng shui master exclaimed in shock.

At this moment, a few more people boarded the commuter bus, one of whom greeted Feng Shui warmly.

“Xiao Feng, you’re the first one to get on the bus again today. Young people are so energetic, unlike us old folks with wives and kids. It’s so good to be young…” said a man in his thirties, very thin, wearing glasses.

"Good morning... Master!" Feng Shui blurted out these four words uncontrollably, and Feng Shui was shocked once again.

"What on earth happened? What's wrong with me!" Feng Shui said to himself again.

Chapter Six: The Beginning and the End (Final Chapter)

Feng Shui pressed his head firmly against the back of the seat in front of him, closed his eyes, and felt as if a thousand needles were being inserted into his brain, causing him to tremble violently from the pain.

The man sitting in front of him, whom he was addressed as "Master," turned around and asked with concern, "Xiao Feng, what's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"

"I...I...I'm fine!" Feng Shui said in a trembling voice.

The man addressed as "Master" paused for a moment, then turned away helplessly without saying anything more.

Feng Shui's thoughts suddenly became clear. Although his head still ached, Feng Shui's consciousness detached from his body and stood quietly beside his physical form like a soul, staring blankly at his body.

Suddenly, Feng Shui's consciousness, detached from his physical body, found himself in a pure white world before him, as if something was beckoning him. Feng Shui's consciousness gently flew towards that pure white world.

The commuter bus started up and headed towards its destination, but no one cared about the feng shui of burying their heads deep in the backrest.

All around was pure white, nothing at all; as far as the eye could see, white was the only thing there.

The consciousness of feng shui stood quietly in this white expanse, with no boundaries around it, nothing at all, only the boundless white.

Suddenly, the white world became murky, and the Feng Shui consciousness felt itself gaining a physical form.

It was a man, a man whom the feng shui master didn't recognize yet felt strangely familiar with, and the feng shui's consciousness resided within this man. In other words, this man was the feng shui master, and the feng shui master had become part of this man's consciousness.

Feng Shui gently opened his eyes and found himself in a chaotic world, filled with vibrant, colorful spiritual energy. Countless strange and wondrous creatures slumbered around him, and he stood alone on this earth where countless slumbering beings resided.

Suddenly, Feng Shui realized that his consciousness seemed unable to control the body's actions. At that moment, Feng Shui understood that his consciousness was merely parasitizing this body, while another consciousness existed within it, the one that truly controlled the physical form.

“Release the dragon…” the body that was the source of the feng shui spoke.

Feng Shui sensed a sudden, intense energy reaction emanating from the left ear of this body, but he couldn't pinpoint what it was. This was because, at this moment, Feng Shui's consciousness could only perceive and experience the surrounding world through the five senses of this physical body, while the power to control the body was dominated by another consciousness existing within it.

The body removed a dragon-shaped earring from its left ear and gently tossed it towards the sky with a light touch. However, the dragon earring was thrown very high. Feng Shui observed that the dragon earring had already flown into the chaos.

In the chaos, a blinding purple light suddenly flashed out. Although the purple light was dazzling, Feng Shui could clearly see what was emitting the purple light!

It was an enormous dragon, and the feng shui master was completely stunned when he saw it. Because it was none other than the "Releasing Dragon Plate".

At this moment, the "Dragon Release Disc" danced wildly in the chaos, like a celestial being, stirring up the spiritual energy that filled the chaos. The purple light emanating from the "Dragon Release Disc" dyed all the spiritual energy in the chaos a deep purple. As if activated by this purple light, the myriad lives sleeping on the earth gradually awoke, slowly rising and falling from the ground, emitting low and turbid breaths.

At this moment, the "Dragon Release Plate" flew in front of him. Feng Shui sensed that another consciousness within his physical body was communicating with the "Dragon Release Plate," but Feng Shui could not understand it.

Another consciousness controlled the physical body, riding the "Dragon Release Disc" and driving it to rampage recklessly through this chaotic world. All life on earth was terrified and scattered in all directions by the "Dragon Release Disc" controlled by the physical body.

"Life forms existing in the boundless ancient times, I am your god, and also the demon within your hearts. This world is the boundary array I bestowed upon you for your survival. Now I hand this boundary array over to you, and I will go to the endless eternity to break the unbreakable seal. The boundary array I created for you here is only worthy of the most tenacious life forms to live in. I will grant you an unexpected ability; grasp it well. In the long river of future years, I will descend here again, awaiting my return..." The physical body, riding on the "Dragon Release Disc," soared above the heads of all beings, as another consciousness spoke like a god.

The voice was deep and resonant, filled with boundless love and compassion, spreading throughout the entire chaos. All life on earth knelt down, worshipping the physical body in the air with utmost devotion.

“You’re back…” another consciousness whispered.

"Huh? Are you talking about me?" the Feng Shui consciousness asked curiously.

“You are me, and I am you…” another consciousness whispered.

"I don't understand," Feng Shui said, bewildered.

"We are the origin of all life in this ancient, boundless, chaotic world..." another consciousness said softly.

"I don't quite understand what you mean," Feng Shui said, puzzled.

"This boundless ancient world is a boundary array space that we created, a temporary residence for us to recuperate and thrive, and our name is Yi Shi. You and I are two separate consciousnesses that coexist within this physical body. I am the spirit, and you are the soul..." another consciousness said softly.

Feng Shui couldn't understand what the other consciousness was saying at all, and was so confused that it didn't know what to say.

“Let’s go… another companion is waiting for us at the end of time…” another consciousness said softly.

Feng Shui sensed a sense of unwavering resolve and fearlessness in the words of another consciousness.

Suddenly, a dazzling light flashed throughout the entire space, and all the spiritual energy vanished. Feng Shui felt a sharp dizziness, and when he regained consciousness, he found himself in the void of the universe. Turning his head, he saw that a turbid celestial body behind him had been ripped open with a huge gash, from which countless creatures were being sucked into the void of the universe. However, the huge gash gradually healed, and the chaotic celestial body behind him became clear, transforming into a water-blue planet.

“We should go…” another consciousness said.

After recovering from his shock, Feng Shui realized that everything he had experienced might be the formation of the Earth.

The "Releasing Dragon Coil" once again swung its enormous body and flew into the endless void of the universe at an astonishing speed. However, Feng Shui realized that this place did not resemble the universe, because he did not see a single planet or galaxy. The only thing in the void of this universe was an endless, dark blue color.

After an unknown amount of time, another consciousness said, "We're almost there..."

2004-12-09 11:46:00

At this moment, Feng Shui felt as if he had reached the end of the universe, with an endless expanse of stars and galaxies crowded together before him, and the "Releasing Dragon Plate" stopped moving in front of this endless wall of stars.

“Let’s begin…” another consciousness said.

Before Feng Shui could understand what was happening, he suddenly felt his physical body and the body of the Dragon-Releasing Disc transform into a light that was darker than the universe, yet shone brightly, rushing towards the wall of endless galaxies and celestial bodies in front of him.

In the blink of an eye, an unprecedented super explosion occurred in the entire universe. All galaxies and stars were scattered by this explosion, forming an irregular arrangement. However, this seemingly irregular arrangement could be vaguely sensed as a regular way of operating.

Feng shui has lost its consciousness...

He didn't know how much time had passed when Feng Shui felt someone calling him. He slowly opened his eyes and discovered that he had actually separated from his physical body and had regained his own physical form.

Before the feng shui, he saw two people he knew all too well: Jimi and Zi Yang. However, Jimi and Zi Yang now appeared somewhat different. Although their appearances hadn't changed, their attire was quite unusual. It wasn't the kind of human clothing they usually wore, but rather garments made of an unknown material, and the style was something he had never heard of or seen before.

"You..." Feng Shui said, puzzled.
