Chapter 5

They were unaware that when Fuxi captured his first prey, ground the first stone into a spear, and when Nuwa made the first garment and built the first house, a great deal of merit was bestowed upon them.

Even Yuan Hao was a little surprised. Whenever they created an item or accomplished something, the rules of the Tianyuan Sacred Realm would be improved and expanded.

The merits that Fuxi and Nuwa received were bestowed upon them by Yuanhao, the divine being responsible for the operation of heaven and earth.

"It seems I overestimated myself. The comprehensiveness of my understanding of the rules of heaven and earth is no match for that of countless living beings. Even though my understanding of the rules, my application of the rules, and the intensity of my comprehension of the rules far surpass theirs," Yuan Hao muttered to himself as he pondered what race to create next when Fuxi captured his first prey.

Seeing the beasts roaming the Origin Mountains, Yuan Hao had an idea. He entered the western continent of Tianyuan Continent through the southern passage of the Origin Mountains. Yuan Hao flew along, carefully observing the Origin Continent, which was now full of life. He stopped in the southern part of the western continent of the Origin Continent, where it was separated from the human territory only by the Origin Mountains.

Although this land is separated from the human territory only by the Origin Mountain Range, its terrain is quite different.

Water resources are extremely scarce here, and the natural climate is harsh. One moment the sky may be clear and blue, and the next a violent storm may break out. Moreover, this place is full of towering mountains and deep valleys, teeming with all sorts of ferocious beasts and venomous insects.

Yuan Hao wanted to create a new intelligent race, the Beastmen, in such a place.

Chapter Five: The Budding of Civilization

Orcs are different from humans. Not only are orcs extremely resilient, but they also have far too many internal racial divisions.

The beastmen race created by Yuanhao included lion-men, tiger-men, werewolves, bear-men, minotaur-men, dog-men, pig-men, cat-men, fox-men, snake-men, swan-men...

When Yuanhao created the orc race, he did not create a leader for them as he did for the human race.

Because there are too many types of beastmen, Yuanhao could not possibly create a large number of all beastman groups.

For each type of beastman, Yuanhao created a different number of beastmen based on their survival abilities.

The number of orcs varies, with some races having several thousand members and others having only a few hundred.

The number of these beastmen was determined by Yuan Hao after careful calculation, which allowed them to multiply and gradually grow stronger.

Although each group is small, there are simply too many orc races. The total number of orcs far exceeds the number of humans.

As the human and orc races expand their territories to a certain distance, they will both encounter a gap in the southern part of the Origin Mountains.

Once both races have grown stronger, this place will become a battleground for both.

In the future, countless fierce battles may take place in this place, bringing Yuan Hao a huge amount of source power.

After creating the orc race, Yuan Hao planned to create another race that was somewhat similar to humans—the Feathered Race.

The Feathered Race is a race that looks just like humans, but they have a pair of wings on their backs.

The winged race walks on the ground in a similar manner to humans, but their light bodies make them more agile. Due to their extremely light bones and significantly lower weight compared to humans, the winged race is very slender and rarely becomes robust. Adult winged race members can fly using the wings on their backs.

The place where Yuanhao created the Feathered Race is located in the northern part of the western continent of Tianyuan, very close to the sea. Adult Feathered Race men can fly directly to the sea to hunt and obtain food.

The first leader of the Feathered Clan was also specially created by Yuan Hao, who named him Feng Yan.

From the very beginning, Fengyan was different from other winged races.

The Feathered Clan members generally have a pair of wings on their backs, and the wings are all white, with a few having golden wings.

When Fengyan was born, lightning struck the mountains and forests, creating earth fire. Fengyan was born from the place where the lightning struck, emerging from the raging flames.

After Fengyan was born, heaven and earth celebrated. Thunderbolts fell from the sky and intertwined with the earth's fire, continuously merging into Fengyan's body and becoming his command.

Feng Yan was born with six wings: one pair was red, one pair was purple, and one pair was white.

Purple and red symbolize the heavenly thunder and earthly fire powers that Feng Yan is born with, while white corresponds to the wind power that the Golden Winged Feather Clan is born with.

After the birth of the Feather Clan, Feng Yan did not use his cultivation level, which was considered the number one person in the Tianyuan Sacred Realm, to control the Feather Clan.

Feng Yan refused the tribesmen's request to elect him as their leader.

At the summit of the highest peak in the Tianyuan Continent, apart from the Origin Mountains, the birthplace of the Feather Clan, and the sacred mountain of the Feather Clan, he used his incomparably powerful cultivation to create a magnificent temple—the Feather God Temple.

Feng Yan voluntarily stayed at the Feather God Temple, becoming a priest who would serve the Feather God for life.

Because Feng Yan refused the Feather Clan's request to elect him as their leader, the Feather Clan, after consulting with Feng Yan, elected a Golden Wing Feather Clan member as their new leader.

After creating the Feathered Race, Yuanhao continued his journey.

On that vast archipelago in the Western Sea, Yuanhao created the Sea Clan.

Like the Orcs, the Seafolk are also divided into many groups.

For example, there's the Merfolk, with human bodies and fish tails, whose members are all remarkably beautiful. Then there's the Fish-Man, with fierce and ugly appearances, fish heads and human bodies, and extremely cruel personalities. There's also the Shark-Man, with the upper body of a shark and the lower body of a human. And finally, there's the Whale-Man, with the upper body of a fish and the lower body of a human, reaching heights of tens of meters when fully grown, and so on.

After the sea creatures spread throughout the Western Sea Islands, Yuanhao continued his journey.

In the northern part of the Origin Mountains, near the territory of the Feathered Clan, there is a vast forest filled with towering trees.

Yuan Hao stood in the very center of this forest. With a wave of his hand, all the trees on the spot disappeared, leaving behind a crater several kilometers in diameter.

A stream of water suddenly appeared at the bottom of the pit, slowly filling the large pit and forming a crystal-clear lake.

At this moment, Yuan Hao stretched his hand forward, and the front half of his arm suddenly disappeared.

When his arm reappeared, it was covered with a twig and a drop of life-giving liquid.

This branch is a piece of the World Tree that Yuan Hao took from the Heavenly Dao Space. The green liquid is made from the concentrated sap of the World Tree.

Yuanhao tossed the World Tree's sap downwards, allowing the sap to flow into the lake below.

The lake water below slowly turned a light green, and a rich sense of life gradually emanated from it.
