Chapter 122

Just then, Bai Yujing, the leader of the Beggars' Sect, suddenly said:

“You wicked villain, how dare you commit violence in the Quanzhen Sect! Master Qiu, I will lend you a hand.”

A dragon's roar suddenly rang out.

A powerful aura of dragon power rose up.

Bai Yujing stepped in front of Qiu Chuji and thrust out a palm, releasing dragon-shaped true energy that chased after the direction Li Boyang had left.

This is the Beggars' Sect's Dragon Subduing Palm Technique, extremely powerful and fierce.

However, although the dragon-shaped true energy was powerful, it seemed to be a little slow. The dragon-shaped true energy slowly floated in the air for a while, and finally exploded before it could hit Li Boyang.

The thunderous roar echoed through the sky.

Large raindrops flew through the air, blurring people's vision.

With a cold smile, Li Boyang used the cover of his Dragon Subduing Palm technique to quickly disappear into the Zhongnan Mountains...

The first rays of the sun gradually rise in the east.

There is a three-story inn.

Thump! Thump!

A knock came at the door.

"Teacher, it's time for us to go down for lunch."

"Tell the waiter to bring it up. I won't be going out today."

Li Boyang sat upright on the bed, holding an ancient book in his hands, his face filled with undisguised excitement.

It was worth the long wait; the Nine Yin Manual was finally in my hands. This manual was extremely important to me.

Li Boyang was very clear about his shortcomings in the Qi Refining stage. First, he did not have a suitable Qi circulation method, and second, he did not have a move that could unleash his true strength.

With the Nine Yin Manual, these two shortcomings will be made up. The Nine Yin Manual dares to use the word "mantra" in its name because it is a martial arts classic that combines qi circulation methods, moves, and lightness skills.

Somewhat nervously, he opened the first volume, and sure enough, the very first sentence in the general outline was one he was very familiar with:

The Way of Heaven is to diminish what is excessive and supplement what is insufficient; therefore, emptiness overcomes fullness, and insufficiency overcomes excess. Its meaning is profound, its principle is abstruse, and its interest is deep. The images of Heaven and Earth are distinct, the signs of Yin and Yang are intense, the causes of change are apparent, and the omens of life and death are revealed.

This statement actually conveys the same meaning as the Yin-Yang principle of Tai Chi, illustrating that the principles underlying martial arts at higher levels are similar.

However, after reading this sentence, Li Boyang was dumbfounded and unconsciously cursed:

"Damn it, it's Sanskrit!"

All Li Boyang found in the entire outline of the Nine Yin Manual, except for the very first sentence, was written in Sanskrit, which he didn't recognize. It made him so frustrated that he almost vomited blood.

I quickly recalled my memories of the Nine Yin Manual, and with a nervous heart, I turned two or three pages.

"Just as I expected."

Li Boyang breathed a sigh of relief.

Apart from the general outline being in Sanskrit, the rest of the Nine Yin Manual was in Chinese, which he recognized.

An hour later, Li Boyang turned to the last page of the Nine Yin Manual and sighed softly:

"Nine is the extreme of numbers, and the extreme of yin is a disaster."

The Nine Yin Manual is very powerful, even more powerful than he imagined.

This Nine Yin Manual is divided into two volumes.

The first volume also records the chapters on tendon and bone strengthening, healing, acupoints, body techniques, and soul transfer techniques.

The Yi Jin Duan Gu Zhang is actually the Nine Yin Internal Kung Fu, also known as the Nine Yin Qi Circulation Method. It contains more than 200 secret methods for stimulating acupoints throughout the human body, which can be said to have amazed Li Boyang.

In other words, after Li Boyang practiced the Nine Yin Manual, his cultivation speed was more than two hundred times faster than it is now, a world of difference compared to his current speed.

The innate true qi cultivated using the acupuncture techniques recorded in the Yi Jin Duan Gu chapter is extremely yin and soft.

It should be understood that innate true qi originally has no attributes. However, innate true qi cultivated using the acupuncture techniques recorded in the Nine Yin Manual may not be called innate true qi, but rather Nine Yin true qi.

The chapter on healing mainly explains the methods of using Nine Yin True Qi to treat internal and external injuries. After reaching the Qi Refining Realm, due to the different internal cultivation techniques, the innate true qi, when it hits an enemy, usually carries different attribute damage.

For example, the Yin-cold attribute of the Xuanming Divine Palm can never be neutralized without the correct method, and the Healing Chapter records methods for dealing with various types of true qi.

The chapter on acupoints mainly explains the secret techniques of striking and releasing acupoints. In fact, martial artists at the Acquired Realm can already use true qi to strike acupoints.

When acupoints in the human body are stimulated by true qi, they will produce different effects. The chapter on acupoints mainly describes the different effects caused by using true qi to strike acupoints and the methods of releasing acupoints.

The manual on movement techniques records a light-body skill called "Snake Walk and Fox Flip." Light-body skills are actually the same as martial arts moves; they are both ways of utilizing innate true energy in combat.

The Snake-like Leap and Fox-like Flip technique recorded in the Nine Yin Manual is only about as effective as a medium-level light-body skill in terms of lightness and agility. In terms of speed, it can only be considered a high-level light-body skill, not a top-level one.

The truly remarkable aspect of this light-body skill lies in its ability to change body shape and its explosive power in an instant. As the name suggests, a venomous snake remains still when hunting its prey, only moving with lightning speed in the moment of its pounce.

The raccoon, also known as the lynx, is a very agile animal that is usually active only at night. It is good at running, ambushing, and climbing.

The lightness skill in the Nine Yin Manual is named after a combination of a poisonous snake and a lynx, which aptly expresses the characteristics of this lightness skill. In a few words, it can be described as: ghostly.

As for the Soul Transfer Technique, Li Boyang felt that it was probably the most profound part of the entire Nine Yin Manual, as the Soul Transfer Technique actually recorded methods for using one's aura.

Those masters who know the Nine Yin Manual always say one thing when they use the Soul Transfer Technique: "Look into my eyes." There's a reason for that.
