Capítulo 16

The moonlight, like water, fell upon his upper body.

Wu Tian suddenly felt that something was wrong with this world.

Just then, a boy came singing from the east, holding a precious seal in his left hand and a long sword in his right. He sang: "When the elixir is complete, dragons and tigers appear; when the sword is drawn, ghosts and gods tremble. I once traveled to the Jade Capital and received immortality when I was young."

Before he finished speaking, another old Taoist priest with white hair and a long beard came from the west and sang the same song: "A great dream spanning thousands of autumns, what year is it tonight? I raise my cup and get drunk, how many times have I looked down on kings and nobles."

Immediately following, a dignified-looking middle-aged Taoist priest in a black robe appeared in the south, holding an apricot-yellow flag and singing: "Five elements are hidden in my chest, three flowers gather on my head. I am a guest of longevity from Kunlun, an immortal from the Three Mountains."

The three of them each occupied a corner, their auras merging to form a net that trapped Wu Tian.

"It's no use. Three years ago, you couldn't defeat me, which caused the position of Imperial Advisor to fall into other hands. Now that I am the Imperial Advisor of the Great Ming Dynasty, you have even less chance of winning." Wu Tian's voice carried a peculiar rhythm, which was unsettling and captivating.

At the same time, golden light spread across the sky, transforming into a blissful and serene world, seemingly encompassing the bright moon and stars in the heavens.

This is a golden world, the sky is golden, the earth is golden, radiating dazzling light. And the source of all this is an enormous golden Buddha.

This golden Buddha sits peacefully in the center of the world, with a smile on his face, eyes closed and curtains drawn, radiating endless peace and relaxation. His hands are slightly outstretched, forming a mudra that expresses his wish to fulfill the desires of all people in the world.

Countless chants and celestial sounds resounded constantly, seemingly containing endless mysteries. With each resounding note, heavenly flowers rained down and golden lotuses sprang from the earth.

Such extraordinary phenomena are like the Buddha descending to earth to save all sentient beings, as described in the scriptures. Any Buddhist who faces this scene would probably only have one thought: to completely take refuge and prostrate themselves at the Buddha's feet.

"Amitabha." Accompanied by the resounding chant of Buddhist sutras, the humanistic dragon energy that guarded the pillar of the Great Ming Dynasty descended simultaneously, filling the sky above the capital.

The so-called dragon energy is the great force formed by the convergence of people's hearts, and is achieved through the offerings of all people.

When everyone is of one mind, evil will naturally be warded off.

All demons and monsters will be suppressed by this great power of humanity.

However, all things in the world are interconnected and mutually restraining.

If a cultivator were to receive an imperial decree and ascend to the position of "Imperial Preceptor," theoretically, they could not only draw upon the nation's fortune for cultivation but could even manipulate dragon energy, potentially causing the dynasty's fate to collapse!

This resulted in very few rulers throughout history being willing to appoint a national advisor—after all, it was tantamount to sharing a divine artifact!

The Imperial Preceptor was blessed with good fortune, which not only made his cultivation invincible among his peers, but also allowed him to defeat opponents of higher ranks, as long as they were not particularly formidable.

In addition, ordinary cultivators, who cannot become mages, are almost unable to use their magic on the battlefield, but the Imperial Preceptor, protected by dragon energy, can disregard bloodlust and military aura.

When the dragon energy of humanity descended, Xuan You Daoist's Star Moon Illusion was the first to be affected, and it immediately began to shake, alternating between reality and fantasy, and shattering into pieces.

Zhang Tianshi and Changsheng Daoren both groaned at the same time.

The next moment, the sword and seal in Zhang Tianshi's hand, and the apricot-yellow flag in Changsheng Daoren's hand, simultaneously emitted divine light, resisting the suppression of the human dragon energy, eager to escape.

"Since you're already here, stay here!" Wu Tian laughed wildly, his face contorted with rage, like a demon god descending to earth, devoid of any semblance of Buddha's majesty.

He recklessly extracted the dragon energy of humanity, disregarding the consequences, determined to kill Xuan You Daoist and the other two on the spot, in order to intimidate the cultivators of the Nine Provinces and pave the way for his future grand plan.

Wu Tianmo's power was unparalleled, and Xuan You Daoist and the other two struggled to hold on, their fate seemingly sealed.

Just then, a faint sword cry rang out, reaching the heavens and descending to the earth. A sword light that seemed to split the heavens and earth came into view and entered one's heart.

The sword light is like water, nourishing all things and benefiting all living beings;

The sword light blazes like fire, burning away the heavens and earth, yet giving birth to hope.

This sword strike transcends the boundaries of time and space, blurring the distinction between the past and the present. It seems to have flown from the upper reaches of the river of time, or perhaps it is a reflection of the future course of humanity.

A Mani jewel flew out from the back of Wu Tian's head. The Mani jewel, also known as the wish-fulfilling jewel, is a relic of the Buddha from long ago. After the Dharma was destroyed, it transformed into this jewel, which can fulfill all pure and wonderful wishes.

The Mani Pearl emitted boundless divine light, blocking the incoming sword light.

The strange phenomenon disappeared, and a young man dressed in a blue Taoist robe appeared before Wu Tian, holding a broken sword that was only a foot long.

Without a word, Lin Yi raised his sword and brought it down, rendering the human dragon energy that suppressed all laws ineffective at that moment.

Wu Tian, the Grand Preceptor of the Ming Dynasty, died and his teachings vanished.

The Starry Moon Illusion once again enveloped the Imperial Preceptor's Mansion. Xuan You Daoist pointed out a golden centipede with an illusory form.

The golden centipede transformed into human form, which was exactly like Wu Tian's appearance.

Wu Tian bowed to Lin Yi and the other three, and said, "I beg you all to have mercy on my difficult cultivation and give me a chance to be reincarnated."

Xuanyou Daoist did not answer, but turned his gaze to Lin Yi.

Lin Yi smiled slightly, looked at Wu Tian, and said, "The Supreme Lord said: Misfortune and fortune have no gate, but are summoned by oneself. The retribution for good and evil follows like a shadow. Since you are using the fortune of the Great Ming Dynasty to cultivate, then go and take a trip to the Dragon Court of the Great Ming Dynasty. What do you three fellow Daoists think?"

“Good,” all three of them nodded.

Xuanyou Daoist immediately cast a spell, opening a dark and deep passage and sending Wu Tian's soul inside.

Chapter Fourteen: The Assistance of Dragon Qi, the Transformation of the Dream

The Netherworld, the Great Ming Dynasty's Dragon Court.

A purple pillar stands tall, with countless stars shining above it and the sun and moon guarding it.

Below the Heavenly Pillar, mountains and rivers stretch endlessly, dotted with cities and villages.

It was almost like another world.

A carriage flew out from the largest city and headed towards a palace nestled in the blue clouds.

The carriage stopped outside the palace gate.
