Chapter 1

Chu Qing put down her things and met Xia Xia's smug face. She smiled and praised her, saying "Great job!" Then, glancing at the time on the wall clock, she looked down and asked, "..."

"Sweetie, we'll have spicy beef for lunch again. How about some noodles for now?"

It was already past eight o'clock. Chu Qing went to the kitchen to boil water and wash the vegetables. Xia Xia moved a stool over and sat down next to him.

The kitchen was so small, and a little kid was sitting right in the middle, which made things a bit awkward.

"I'll stay with my dad."

Chu Qing first served Xia Xia a bowl and placed it on the table before turning back to prepare her own. After returning to the table and sitting down, she noticed Xia Xia hadn't started eating yet, so she asked:

After speaking, Xiaxia used her still somewhat clumsy hands to grasp the chopsticks, picked up the noodles, blew on them to cool them down, and brought them to her mouth.

After finishing breakfast, Chu Qing first processed the beef, and then went to Xia Xia's room, opened the wardrobe, and helped him tidy up.
