Capítulo 165

That's all the hints I'm giving you. If you can't figure it out, then get lost.

A moment later, footsteps approached Qin Chu's direction.

Levi's deep voice rang out, seemingly tinged with barely suppressed laughter: "Excuse me, is my senior here?"

The sound came from a low direction.

Qin Chu pulled back the curtain and saw the man squatting in front of him, speaking seriously to the toe of the foot that was sticking out of the curtain.

He raised his foot to kick, but halfway through, Qin Chu saw what Le Wei was holding and immediately understood what the military academy student had been surprised about.

Although he went out today, Levy was still wearing the military academy uniform issued by the base.

He was dressed in a serious black and blue uniform, and was tall and imposing, yet he was carrying a bag of brightly colored and pink snacks.

Qin Chu was so confused by this appearance that he forgot he was going to kick someone: "What are you holding in your hand?"

“Sugar, huh?” Levi said with a smile as he sat down next to Qin Chu.

He raised the small table in front of him and poured the bag of colorful snacks onto it.

The scene was quite spectacular.

Qin Chu stared for a while, then couldn't help but ask, "Is the place we're going to very far?"

Otherwise, why would they bring so much food?

Levi sat down in the seat next to him: "I heard that Omegas especially like this kind of candy. I saw that other people had it, so I went and bought it for you."

"...Look around, who has these on their table?" Qin Chu scanned the carriage and had never seen such extravagant tables.

"So, are you going to eat them?" Levi asked, holding up two candies and looking at him.

"I don't like..."

Levi interrupted him, sighing, "Your senior takes care of my three meals a day at the base, and now you won't even let me repay that favor?"

"..." After a two-second silence, Qin Chu reached out his hand.

He hesitated for a moment on the table with his fingers, picked out a strawberry flavor, unwrapped it, put it in his mouth, and then continued to lean back in his chair and close his eyes to rest.

This clearly indicated that he was not very willing to talk to people. Levi knew that this was because he was still holding back the anger that had been stirred up yesterday. He curled the corners of his lips but didn't say anything.

With my eyes closed, the sensation of the sugar melting in my mouth became very noticeable.

Qin Chu indeed dislikes eating sweets.

It's not that he disliked it, but the environment he lived in when he was a child was limited, and there were many things he wanted to eat but couldn't, so he only knew that the name existed.

For example, candy, and strawberries, for example.

Later, when the conditions were right, he lost interest, his mind filled with all sorts of weapons and military theories.

Later, having spent most of his time on the border, he seemed to have even less desire to eat these things.

If you think about it carefully, it seems that the first piece of candy Qin Chu ate was the one Qin Rui put in his mouth.

But the candy wasn't very sweet, and it was accompanied by a gust of sandstorm. Given that I was extremely hungry, it couldn't really be considered a snack.

Now, Qin Chu licked the candy with the tip of his tongue, and the rich aroma of strawberries spread out.

Levi sat quietly beside him. The two seats were very close together, and even with the masking spray, a faint smell of blood still wafted over and lingered around Qin Chu's nose.

The smell of blood combined with the sweet aroma of strawberries didn't bother Qin Chu at all.

The candy did indeed soothe his somewhat agitated nerves, seemingly more effectively than the ball he had kneaded the night before.

"Is it good?" Levi suddenly asked.

"...It doesn't taste good." Qin Chu stubbornly insisted.

Levy fell silent again.

As the bus started moving, Qin Chu heard Levi pull the curtains around the seats closed.

Two minutes later, a few rustling footsteps suddenly sounded.

Qin Chu subconsciously opened her eyes and looked over, only to see an unfamiliar military academy student alpha lift the curtain and pop his head in, reaching for the small table and looking up to greet Qin Chu: "Sister-in-law..."

Before he could utter a single word, Levi kicked him back: "What are you doing? Take your hand back."

The alpha immediately put on a pained expression: "Quick, quick, I need your help! My partner is carsick and complaining that I didn't buy anything. Brother, please help me out, I'm begging you! I shouldn't have laughed at you for buying these things last night!"

This is clearly someone I know; it sounds like we're roommates from the same dorm.

Levy didn't answer, but turned to look at Qin Chu.

Qin Chu was puzzled by the stare, and rolled the candy around in his mouth: "Why are you looking at me? You can give me whatever you want."

Levi didn't say anything, glanced at him again, grabbed a handful of candy, stuffed it into the man's arms, and sent him away.

Qin Chu continued to rest with his eyes closed.

The candy in his mouth had only melted a little bit before the rich, sweet strawberry aroma began to unfold on his tongue.

In the slightly swaying carriage, Qin Chu actually dozed off for a while, his consciousness wandering in a half-dreaming, half-awake state.

He could sense the commotion around him, and probably had set a precedent. There were quite a few military academy students who ran over and tried to squeeze through the curtain along the way, but most of them had just peeked out when Levi stuffed them with snacks and sent them away.

The journey was rather long, and after an unknown amount of time, the strawberry flavor in Qin Chu's mouth gradually faded.

He moved his tongue and licked nothing.

Suddenly regaining consciousness, Qin Chu turned his head to look at the scenery outside the window, still a little dazed from just waking up.

My mouth felt empty.

That's how candy is; you never crave it when you don't have it, but once you've had the first piece, you'll always want the second.

Still half-asleep, Qin Chu instinctively reached for the small table in front of him, his target still the strawberry flavor.

As a result, he froze for a moment when he reached out his hand.

The pile of candies that was once full and almost formed a small mountain is now reduced to only a pitiful few, like fish that slipped through the net after a whirlwind swept away fallen leaves.

Moreover, three or four of the colorful candy wrappers were missing, and none of the candies lying on top were strawberry flavored.

Qin Chu's fingers hovered on the table, unsure of where to put them.

He turned and glanced silently at Levy.

How generous! I let you divide it up, but I didn't let you divide it all.

Levi seemed confused for a moment, then turned to look at him: "What's wrong, senior? Are you going out? We shouldn't be there yet."

"...It's nothing." Qin Chu looked away.

That one glance was quite something; the curtain over Levi's side wasn't fully drawn, and you could just see that the tables next door and to the side were covered in their candy.

Only their own little table was empty, looking so pitiful.

Qin Chu hadn't thought much of it at first because he hadn't eaten any candy.

Now, upon comparison, a subtle emotion welled up within me.

I can't quite put my finger on what I'm thinking.

I'm just not very happy.

Qin Chu continued to close his eyes and rest, trying to suppress the unfounded dissatisfaction in his heart.

He had barely closed his eyes when he suddenly heard the rustling sound of candy wrappers again.

Qin Chu's eyelashes fluttered, and he subconsciously opened his eyes. Before he could look anywhere else, his gaze dropped slightly, and he saw a handful of bright candies being presented to him.

Every single candy is pink and exclusively strawberry flavored.

It also emitted a faint scent of pheromones, as if someone had secretly hidden it in their pocket and was now going to great lengths to take it out.

"Aren't you going to eat, senior?" Levi was half-lying on the small table watching him, a mischievous and alluring smile on his lips.

Seeing that Qin Chu didn't move, he waved the handful of candies in front of Qin Chu again, "Really not going to eat them? But I picked them out one by one."

Qin Chu stared at him.

The emotions in my heart became more subtle, complicated and strange. I seemed a little happy, but I also felt so damn angry.

A mix of emotions made Qin Chu feel completely unfamiliar, and thinking about it too much made him a little irritable.

So he looked down at the candy in Levy's hand, then looked up at Levy again, and asked:

Do you want to fight?

Levy was taken aback, not understanding how he had come to this conclusion.

But when he glanced at Qin Chu's pursed lips, he couldn't help but lower his head and laugh. He laughed for a long time, so much so that he dropped a piece of candy he was holding.

Qin Chu was annoyed by what he saw and reached out to slap his hand away.

Levy was laughing heartily, but he didn't dodge.

So, with that slap, it's unclear whose finger hooked whose, their fingertips touched, and an electric current instantly surged through them.

Levy's laughter stopped, but he hadn't had time to retract his hand.

Since the bathroom incident, he and Qin Chu had been intentionally or unintentionally avoiding physical contact. Now, when he was suddenly touched, Levi felt a slight chill from his fingertips to his shoulder, and his entire arm stiffened.

After it cools down, the heat rises again.

Even the side of her face looked like it was on fire.

"We are about to reach our destination. Passengers, please..."

The announcement inside the carriage suddenly came on, startling the two of them, who simultaneously withdrew their hands.

Someone forgot they were still holding the candy and suddenly stopped.

With a "whoosh," a handful of candy was scattered all over Qin Chu.
