Capítulo 10

"Old Song, are you looking for death? What if I knock on your door? Believe me or not, I'll tear your house down!" Wang Youcai, with a fierce face, glared angrily at Old Song.

"Oh, village chief! What brings you here! Come in, come in and have a seat!" When Song Laopi saw Wang Youcai outside the door, he was stunned for a moment, then quickly invited him inside.

"Damn it, who cares about your pigsty? Someone's looking for you, come with me!" Wang Youcai walked towards Ma Xiaoniu first.

Seeing Wang Youcai bring Song Laopi over, Ma Xiaoniu's eyebrows gradually hardened. He had gotten the answer he wanted!

The moment I saw Song Laopi, my heightened sense of smell transformed the pungent stench of blood emanating from him into a series of bloody images. In these images, Song Laopi, in his twenties, was lewdly assaulting a teenage girl. Then the scene shifted; Song Laopi raised a sharp knife and stabbed the girl multiple times in the neck. The girl fell into a pool of blood, her eyes filled with hatred as she stared at him. Seeing this, Song Laopi struck again and fled in panic. The scene shifted once more; Song Laopi had vanished, hiding and disguising himself as the honest and simple Song Laopi of Song Village, where he settled down.

Seeing Ma Xiaoniu staring at Song Laopi with his eyebrows raised, Wang Youcai was first taken aback, then flew into a rage and slapped Song Laopi on the head!

"Snap!" The sound was crisp and loud.

"Ouch! Village Chief, why are you hitting people?" Old Song was dumbfounded. What the hell was going on?

"Hit someone? What are you going to do about it if I hit you? You want to complain?" Wang Youcai glared at Song Laopi. "Speak! What did you do to offend Brother Ma? Damn it, if you don't tell me, I'll kill you!"

"Me, me, Brother Ma? What, where did this come from? I don't know Brother Ma at all!" Old Song cried, his voice trembling with tears. He was truly innocent.

"Take him to the woods, I have something to ask him!" Ma Xiaoniu's voice was cold as he turned and walked towards the woods.

Old Song looked fearful and didn't want to go, but seeing Wang Youcai staring at him menacingly, he had no choice but to reluctantly walk inside.

The woods were large, quiet, and secluded—a good place. Ma Xiaoniu found a tree stump to sit on, then looked at Song Laopi, who was standing with his head down, and sneered twice.

Old Song shuddered at Ma Xiaoniu's laughter, his face showing fear. "This, brother, what do you want to ask me?"

"Heh, Song Laopi, you've hidden it really well!" Ma Xiaoniu said coldly.

Song Laopi seemed to be struck by lightning. His dark face turned pale instantly, his eyes widened in horror, and he turned to run away, but was stopped by Wang Youcai, who was quick-witted and agile.

"Brother Ma, has this guy offended you? Don't worry, just hand him over to me, and I'll make him wish he were dead!" Wang Youcai's eyes were fierce.

Ma Xiaoniu didn't reply to Wang Youcai, but continued to sneer at Song Laopi.

"What, brother, what do you mean by that? I don't understand what you're saying," Old Song said, his face pale and his voice trembling.

"Smack!" The sound was crisp and loud. Wang Youcai glared fiercely at Song Laopi.

Old Song covered his head, speechless. Was this guy addicted to hitting people on the head?

Ma Xiaoniu leaned forward, staring coldly into Song Laopi's eyes, "Thirty years ago, a little girl."

Old Song's face turned even paler, and large beads of sweat rolled down his face, soaking the ground. His eyes were filled with terror as he recalled the scene from thirty years ago: the little girl's hateful eyes before she died, and the pungent smell of blood in the air.

"You remembered?" Ma Xiaoniu's eyebrows shot up. "Listen carefully, that little girl's desperate wails! Look closely, that little girl's hateful eyes! You're a damn wicked beast! You deserve to die!"

"I, I deserve to die, I deserve to die, no, no, I don't want to die! I don't want to die! Spare me! Please spare me!" Old Song cried and wailed as he lay on the ground begging for mercy.

"I'll spare your life, but who can give a young girl another life? She's so young and beautiful... You deserve to die!" Ma Xiaoniu reached out and pulled out a dagger, then stabbed it fiercely into Song Laopi's neck.

*Pfft!* Blood gushed out. Old Song's eyes widened in terror as he reached out to cover his wound, but it was no use. Ma Xiaoniu stepped forward and severed Old Song's throat with another slash. Then he quickly retreated four or five meters away, coldly watching Old Song writhe in agony.

Wang Youcai, standing nearby, was stunned. Although he had done many bad things and directly or indirectly caused the deaths of many people, he had never seen anything like killing a chicken like this before. Originally, after being afflicted by the Demon's Eye, Wang Youcai was already absolutely loyal to Ma Xiaoniu, but now he was even more afraid.

Old Man Song's throat had been cut, and he thrashed about for a moment before falling silent. Blood was splattered all around him, covering an area of several meters.

Seeing that Song Laopi had stopped moving, Ma Xiaoniu stepped forward, pulled out the Demon Seal, and slapped it onto Song Laopi's face, whose eyes were wide open in death. The white skull and the four small words below it, "Demon Forum," were particularly eye-catching.

Then Ma Xiaoniu walked to a tree stump and, with a dagger, painstakingly carved out the crimes committed by Song Laopi. He then took out his phone and photographed the scene. Ignoring Wang Youcai beside him, he left alone. (Recently, there has been significant encoding issues, which motivates us to update faster. Please exit reading mode if you'd like. Thank you.)

===Chapter Ten===

The woods quieted down. Wang Youcai looked at Song Laopi's unseeing eyes and the white skull on Song Laopi's face, felt a chill, and quickly ran away.

...

Although Ma Xiaoniu appeared calm and composed on the surface, like a habitual murderer, this was actually his first time. While he was killing, his anger overwhelmed him, and he didn't feel anything amiss. But afterwards, he felt something was wrong; his stomach churned uncontrollably. Finally, after cleaning the blood from his hands by the river, he vomited violently. A while later, Ma Xiaoniu stopped, his face pale. It wasn't that he didn't want to vomit, but rather that there was simply nothing left to throw up.

After cleaning up in another place, Ma Xiaoniu finally staggered home. Once home, he collapsed onto his bed and fell into a deep sleep.

...

Wang Cuihua was from Songzhuang. She was a widow whose husband had died early. She had to raise her two children alone, and life was very difficult for her.

Today, Wang Cuihua had nothing to do at home, so she decided to take a basket and go find some wild vegetables. That's the good thing about the countryside; once spring arrives, delicious wild vegetables can be found everywhere—along the ditches and in the woods.

Wang Cuihua, carrying a basket, left the village and headed towards the woods. She ran into Liu Dahong on the way. Seeing Wang Cuihua heading towards the woods with her basket, Liu Dahong couldn't help but tease her, "Hey Cuihua, are you going to find your lover with that basket in your arms?"

"Pah! Go find your father if you want!" Wang Cuihua blushed; after all, she was only in her thirties and at the height of her charm.

"My dad's not home today, how about I keep you company?" Liu Dahong continued teasingly. Wang Cuihua blushed even more, and simply ignored him, quickening her pace towards the woods.

Liu Dahong only dared to make jokes; he really wouldn't dare to do anything if asked!

Once inside the woods, Wang Cuihua spat fiercely. Then she looked around for any wild vegetables, when suddenly her nose twitched—a pungent smell of blood wafted over.

Wang Cuihua felt something was amiss and took a few steps toward the direction of the bloody smell. Suddenly, she saw what looked like a person lying on the ground not far away. Wang Cuihua didn't think anything of it and took a few more steps forward to take a closer look.

A person covered in blood lay on the ground, with bloodstains splattered all around. The person was pale, and their eyes were wide open, staring fiercely in the direction of Wang Cuihua.

"Ah!" Wang Cuihua screamed and almost fainted. She dropped the basket and ran away, shouting as she ran. Soon she reached the village entrance. By then, Wang Cuihua was no longer as scared as before. She saw Liu Dahong squatting there smoking not far away and hurriedly ran over to tell him what she had seen.

Upon hearing that someone had died, Liu Dahong was alarmed and immediately called the police.

About ten minutes later, a cordon was set up in the woods. More than a dozen police officers were taking photos and collecting evidence. The area around the cordon was surrounded by villagers, who were all craning their necks to look inside and talking amongst themselves.

"Hey bro, I just heard about this. Do you know who's in there?"
