Academia sobrenatural pervertida - Capítulo 45
"You came really fast!" A man's voice suddenly rang out from behind.
The sound came suddenly, as if it had emerged from the ground, accompanied by a chilly breeze, making it exceptionally frightening.
Chen Kai was startled when he heard this. He turned around and saw that it was indeed the boy named Qingshui. He had taken off his sunglasses, and there was nothing in the dark hole of one eye, which added a touch of terror to his appearance in the night.
"Where's Feixiao?" Chen Kai asked, mustering his courage, seeing his expression. "Where is he?"
"It's right there!" Shimizu pointed to a large gray building next to him, which looked like a water tank.
Upon hearing this, Chen Kai hurriedly ran over. What he touched was a thick, cold sheet of iron. What should he do?
"What did you do to him?" Chen Kai asked Qing Shui, who was watching the commotion from the side.
"Don't worry!" Shimizu smiled. "I've been searching for him for so long, even giving up the chance to be reborn as a human, all for this day!"
"What do you mean?" Chen Kai didn't quite understand what he was saying.
"Huh? Aren't you Prince Jin?" Qingshui said, leaning closer to examine the red birthmark between his eyebrows. After a while, she said, "So that's it, so that's it!" She muttered to herself for a while, then suddenly burst into laughter as if she had seen something amusing!
His eccentric appearance made Chen Kai even more afraid. Could this person have some kind of mental problem?
Shimizu ignored him and continued to laugh to himself, as if he hadn't laughed in a long time. His laughter echoed in the night, sending chills down one's spine. Chen Kai didn't dare to ask him anything, but secretly thought about finding an opportunity to open the large water tank.
"I...I haven't seen anything this funny in a long time!" Shimizu laughed breathlessly. "I was wondering how you were still alive, and why his power wasn't what it used to be!" He laughed again as he spoke, "Turns out he gave all his thousand years of cultivation to that idiot!"
"He went to such lengths for personal gain, but what was it all for!" Shimizu's words seemed to carry a hint of regret. "How can humans and monsters possibly understand each other?"
Seeing that he was talking to himself and he couldn't understand what he was saying at all, Chen Kai carefully began to look for the valve of the water tank. There must be one. If Fei Xiao was trapped here, there must be a way to get her out.
But before he could find it, Qing Shui behind him said to Chen Kai, "You've come at the right time, bringing his cultivation here, so our contest can be a little more interesting."
After saying that, he waved his hand, and the top door of the water tank slowly opened. A white shadow darted out and rushed to Chen Kai's side like lightning.
Chen Kai was startled. Then he looked at the person next to him. Dressed in white with black hair, who else could it be but Fei Xiao?
"Feixiao!" Chen Kai was overjoyed to see him, having thought he would never see this person again.
"Why are you here?" Fei Xiao looked at Chen Kai, her eyes full of worry.
"I've come to find you!" Chen Kai said hurriedly. "Didn't you say we'd always be together? How could I let you be alone in such a dangerous situation?"
No sooner had he finished speaking than Qing Shui's shrill laughter rang out again, "That's hilarious! How could you be so stupid?" he said to Chen Kai with a laugh.
"The moment I saw your forehead, I knew why he went to find you!"
"Enough with the nonsense!" Fei Xiao rushed forward immediately, her ten fingers like knives, grabbing at Qing Shui's body.
Shimizu dodged it in a flash. "You! You!" he continued, pointing at Chen Kai with a smile. "He's just a scabbard, and you're being used without even realizing it!"
Chen Kai suddenly felt a chill run through him. What was going on? Had he really been used? What was a scabbard? What was he talking about?
“Feixiao! What is he saying?” Chen Kai asked him.
But Feixiao didn't answer; she just increased the pressure on her hands and continued her attack.
"I'll tell you!" Qingshui said, appearing in front of Chen Kai in the blink of an eye, placing a hand on his forehead. "Once the seal is broken, you'll know everything!"
"No!" Fei Xiao tried to stop him, but Qing Shui grabbed Chen Kai and pulled him back a few steps. "Didn't you also want to get your things back? Otherwise, why did you go and get close to him?"
"Feixiao! What exactly is going on?" Chen Kai asked him in surprise. Qingshui's hand was gripping him so tightly it hurt, but he couldn't care less about that now. All he wanted to know was to find out one thing.
"Do you want to know?" Qing Shui's delicate features made his deep-set eye sockets look even more frightening, and his only remaining brown eye stared straight at Chen Kai.
"Chen Kai!" Seeing Qing Shui capture Chen Kai, Fei Xiao dared not move rashly. He stood in the middle of the snow, his eyes filled with sorrow: "I came back to find you back then, indeed to retrieve my cultivation!"
Upon hearing this, Chen Kai suddenly felt the world fall silent. It turned out that he had been deceiving himself all along. Fei Xiao had never considered him a friend; he was merely a vessel, and Fei Xiao was only there to find what belonged to her.
He silently lowered his head, having no more tears to shed. He felt utterly hopeless, realizing that everything—the laughter and tears, the pain and happiness—was nothing but a misunderstanding.
“Chen Kai!” Fei Xiao continued, “You are like my child. Back then, I went to great lengths just to let you enter the cycle of reincarnation!” The wind blew his long hair, obscuring his white face and making it impossible to see his expression. “When I first came to you, I did want to reclaim my cultivation, but after seeing you, I no longer think that way!”
"Why?" Chen Kai looked at the person in the snow, a thin, beautiful person, still as handsome as when they first met. All the past events floated before his eyes, those lovely people, those pitiful ghosts, like withered flowers that adorned his life. If it weren't for Fei Xiao, if he hadn't met him, how could his life have been so colorful? Even if he had done something wrong to himself, he just couldn't hate him, hate the person who brought him endless joy, the elfin person.
“You are not Zijin!” Feixiao said sorrowfully. “You are you, not Zijin. Zijin is dead. How can you bear the burden of everything he did? You should have your own happiness, and I have no right to deprive someone else of their life!”
"Feixiao!" Chen Kai smiled, but tears seemed to well up in his eyes, obscuring Feixiao's figure. "I will repay what I owe you!" After saying that, he turned to Qingshui and asked, "If we return the things to him, will he be able to defeat you?"
"Hehe!" Shimizu chuckled. "They're probably evenly matched, but it depends on his fate. It'll just be a bit more fun!" With that, she stuck a finger on Chen Kai's forehead, a mischievous, childlike expression on her face.
"No!" Feixiao said, reaching out to stop her. "Don't you know why I didn't take it?"
But Qingshui reached out and stopped him. Feixiao dodged her, and then said urgently to Chen Kai, "It has already been integrated into your bloodline. If it is taken away, your life may be in danger!"
"They're offering to pay me back, but you refuse!" Shimizu continued to wrestle with him.
Chen Kai felt a sharp pain in his forehead, and the sight of two figures, one black and one white, made him dizzy. The pain started on his skin and then seeped into his brain. Chen Kai endured the pain and looked at Fei Xiao's nimble figure, and suddenly his nose felt sore.
Feixiao, do you know? If it could allow you to live, I would be willing to die.
"Chen Kai! I'm leaving!" Wang Zijin's figure suddenly appeared before my eyes. Was this an illusion?
"Why?" Chen Kai's pain had seeped into his internal organs, as if his heart and lungs were being torn to pieces.
Wang Zijin smiled. "I should have died long ago. It's because my memories were sealed on that knife that I'm able to coexist with you. Now it's time for me to return what's his!"
"You can't stay with me anymore?" Chen Kai looked at Wang Zijin in the darkness, his blue robe now looking so lonely.
"All good things must come to an end, Chen Kai, take care!" After saying that, he bowed to Chen Kai and put his arms around him.
Chen Kai was startled when Wang Zijin hugged him, but Wang Zijin disappeared as soon as he touched him, just like a wisp of smoke.
While I was wondering what was going on, a flood of memories suddenly came rushing back. Whose memories were they?
Chen Kai's pain had penetrated to his very bones, as if something was being forcibly separated from his body.
There were green willow banks like those of Jiangnan, beautiful women in white, dancers in red, and snow falling all around. Everything unfolded in his mind like a painting.
Is this Prince Jin, with his sealed memories?
But why this heartache? It's like the heartache of being forced to part with someone.
Now, feeling nostalgic, I feel my clothes about to be wet with tears. Alas, people are like water flowing away, and this is whose helplessness is this?
Chen Kai opened his eyes in a daze. It was all an illusion! Fei Xiao was right in front of him. He hadn't left at all, hadn't abandoned him, and was still fighting their enemies.
He could no longer distinguish between the present and the past; the same snowy day, the same bittersweet farewell.
Seeing that Fei Xiao's white clothes were already stained with red blood, he became anxious. His throat felt salty, and a breath of hot air shot out along with his blood. The blood seemed to be a red ball, covered with Chen Kai's warm blood, flying straight towards Fei Xiao.
Go, go to him and help him! Let him live a good life!
Chen Kai watched as the sphere flew straight to Fei Xiao's side and was caught by her, and suddenly felt gratified.
My legs buckled and I knelt on the ground. My body felt so heavy. What was happening to me? It felt like my life was being slowly drained away.
Upon seeing this, Shimizu looked at Chen Kai and laughed, "There are fools like you who would risk their lives for a monster!"
But as soon as he finished speaking, he stopped laughing. A chilling aura seeped out from Chen Kai's side, and a woman in red appeared behind him without him noticing.
"He won't die!" The woman smiled at Shimizu, her beautiful face as if covered with frost.
"Ximan! Why are you out here?" Feixiao took the sphere, waved her hand, and a red knife appeared in her hand.
"Little fox!" Xi Man said, putting a hand on Chen Kai's body, "I'm really happy to have met you all. I'm leaving now!"
"What are you doing?" Fei Xiao had a bad feeling when she saw this and hurriedly went to stop her.
But it was too late. All that could be heard was Xi Man's voice piercing the night sky: "I will exchange my soul for Chen Kai's life!"
Chen Kai felt a warmth spread through his body, as if filling all the gaps in his body. In the darkness, a woman was smiling at him, as beautiful as a flower.
"Is that Ximan?" Chen Kai asked. What was Ximan doing here? It seemed he really was dead.
"Chen Kai, my death was not an accident!" Xi Man said to him with a smile. "That day, I couldn't possibly fall into the River of Oblivion. My fate was sealed!"
"Ximan, Ximan, what are you saying?" he shouted. Was even Ximan leaving? Was everyone leaving?
"Chen Kai, life is so precious, you must live well!" After saying that, she stretched out a hand to him.
Chen Kai reached out and grabbed at nothing!
"Ximan!" he shouted, slowly opening his eyes. All he saw was a blank space like snow and a pitch-black night. Ximan had vanished. There was no trace of her in the air, in the falling snow, or in the wind.
He burst into tears. The girl who had always supported him was no longer in this world. The friend who had always helped him, the cold hand that had pulled him along as they ran through the wilderness of the River of Oblivion—all were gone forever. Xi Man's red dress, Xi Man's black hair, Xi Man who loved freedom—he would never see her again in this life.
Feixiao was still locked in combat with Qingshui. With a wave of Qingshui's hand, water from the gray water tank on the rooftop shot out like a barrage of arrows, heading straight for Feixiao. Feixiao stared at the water arrows in front of him, his handsome face bearing an even colder, deathly aura than usual.
But Chen Kai was already overwhelmed by grief and couldn't breathe. He had no mind to pay attention. His vision was blank, and his mind was blank. He felt that his life had been abruptly cut off by sorrow.
When did life finally transcend death? When did joy finally transcend pain? When did longing finally transcend forgetting? When did this endless white snow finally transcend fate? Burying all the separations of life and death, the grudges and sorrows? When did this happen?
"Chen Kai, run!" Fei Xiao shouted back to Chen Kai. Everyone else had left, so it would be good if Chen Kai could survive.
But Chen Kai could no longer hear him. He just stood there blankly in the snow, feeling completely drained. Why was that? Their happiness was so easily shattered?
"Give me back my eyes!" Shimizu said, as one of his hands suddenly grew longer and reached out to grab Feixiao's face.
Feixiao dodged it in a flash. He regained his cultivation, but it was still not as high as the snake's.
"Try this one!" Shimizu said, and hit it again.
Feixiao hurriedly parried the attack, but what was clearly a single hand turned into countless hands in front of him. Feixiao realized he was in trouble.
Before he could react, he felt a chill in his chest as a sharp claw pierced through it from behind.
Seeing her clothes stained red, Feixiao stared wide-eyed, seemingly unable to believe it.
"Do you think you're the only one who can use illusion magic?" Shimizu's cold voice rang out behind him. "Those who have hurt me, I will make them pay back!"
Chen Kai only saw blood splattering before his eyes, and his consciousness was immediately pulled back.
The woman in front of him, Fei Xiao, was already seriously injured and was looking at him with a look of farewell.
"Feixiao!" Chen Kai shouted and ran towards him. Feixiao couldn't die, how could he die? Feixiao's smile, Feixiao's voice, everything about Feixiao had been ingrained in his blood for a very, very long time.
How could Feixiao, so strong, so confident, so optimistic, die?
But Feixiao's blood had clearly stained the white ground red.
"Chen Kai! Don't come any closer!" Fei Xiao smiled slightly. "I'll show you a magic trick!"
"What are you still saying?" Shimizu said, pulling his arm out. As soon as he pulled his hand out, blood would splatter from the wound, and everything would be over. All the hundred years of loneliness and solitude he had suffered would be repaid.
To my surprise, when I tried to pull it out, the hand was stuck in the wound and wouldn't budge. Even with another effort, I still couldn't get it out.
Shimizu's expression changed. What on earth was going on?
"Hehe!" Feixiao turned around and smiled at him, a sly smile appearing on her white face. "Do you think I'd be stupid enough to lead you to a place with such abundant water?"
