I looked at Qiaoqiao first. Qiaoqiao had a bitter face and made a gesture, which meant: "It's not that I don't try, it's just that this girl is not a homosexual."
I nodded: "Where's Aze?"
Qiao Qiao rolled her eyes: "In the back, this girl's two classmates are smitten with Aze. It looks like Aze is going to put on a show tonight." There was a hint of schadenfreude in her tone.
I broke out in a cold sweat when I thought of the girl with so many piercings on her face.
Just then, Ni Duoduo let out a gasp from the private room behind me. I nodded to Qiao Qiao, turned around, and went back into the room, only to see Ni Duoduo rushing out in a fit of rage. When she saw me, she immediately yelled at me, "Did you do this to me?! Who the hell told you to hit my friend? Who the hell are you?! What right do you have to interfere in my business?"
I stared at her coldly, and when she finished her tirade and was catching her breath, I said coldly, "They were plotting to drug you in the room, did you know that?"
"...Ni Duoduo paused for a moment, her eyes softening slightly, but she still stubbornly retorted, "That's my business! I don't even know you! Why are you interfering in my affairs?!"
I didn't argue with her at all. I just bent down and picked her up, hoisting her onto my shoulder. The girl was startled and immediately started yelling and hitting my back. But with her limited strength, no matter how much she struggled, how could she possibly resist me?
I carried her into the private room. When the guys saw me come in, their legs went weak with fear. One of them quickly said, "Brother Wu! I didn't say anything! I really didn't say anything!"
I ignored him: "Where's Ni Duoduo's bag?"
The group paused for a moment, and I grew a little impatient. I asked a second time, and finally one of them, quick-witted, grabbed a backpack and handed it over.
I took it and turned to leave.
He greeted Qiaoqiao in the hallway, saying, "I'm off now."
Then, walking to the other end of the corridor, he saw Aze with a pained expression, struggling to deal with two monstrous-looking girls beside him. He said with a distressed look, "I have things to do... I have to go... Hey, don't pull me... Don't touch me like that..."
I walked over and yanked a girl aside, saying, "Aze, give me the car keys."
Aze paused for a moment, looking at me carrying someone, seemingly a little surprised. Ni Duoduo was still struggling, but I ignored her completely. The girl was yelling and scratching, but I just treated it as tickling.
Anyway, it's winter now, and I'm wearing thick clothes, so I'm not afraid she'll bite me.
I grabbed the keys, left Aze behind, and walked out of the karaoke room lobby. People along the way, seeing me carrying Ni Duoduo, looked at me as if they'd seen a ghost, their faces contorted with rage, and kept their distance. Even the doorman at the entrance seemed bewildered as I approached. I glanced at her, smiled slightly, and said calmly, "This is my sister. She ran away from home, and I'm taking her home."
"Oh!" She looked at me with a look of sudden realization, and then kindly opened the door for me.
I walked to the parking lot. Ni Duoduo had struggled relentlessly the whole way, punching me hundreds of times on the back. I just pretended it was a tickle. I took the car keys from a distance, unlocked the car's electronic lock, shoved Ni Duoduo inside first, locked the door, then climbed into the driver's seat, fastened her seatbelt, and seeing that she still wanted to struggle, I coldly said, "You sit still! If you move again, I won't be polite! Don't force me to tie you up with a rope!"
Ni Duoduo became a little more obedient, but her eyes still held a defiant look: "Who the hell are you?! Did you grow up drinking seawater? You're so nosy!"
I ignored her provocation, started the car, and drove out of the military club.
Part 1: In the Jianghu, I'm Not in Control of My Own Fate - Chapter 70: I Admit My Defeat!
The BMW sped along the city highway. Ni Duoduo had been cursing for a while, but now she finally quieted down. She then pulled out a pack of cigarettes from her pocket and lit one. I gave her a cold glance and took the cigarette from her lips. Ni Duoduo glared at me fiercely, then took another one and put it in her mouth. I took that one from her again.
She finally snapped, letting out a howl and lunging at me like a little she-wolf. I gripped the steering wheel with one hand, casually deflected her with the other, and then with a little force, pushed her back into her seat.
"Don't smoke at such a young age," I said coldly. Ni Duoduo's face turned pale with anger, and she actually tried to open the car door. However, I had already locked the car door and wasn't worried that she would jump out. After watching her futile efforts, I said coldly, "Don't waste your energy, just stay put."
Ni Duoduo finally gave up, slumped back in her chair in frustration, caught her breath for a while, and then stared at me: "Who exactly are you?"
“My surname is Chen, and my name is Chen Yang. Chen is the Chen of ‘ear east,’ and Yang is the Yang of ‘sunshine.’” I said calmly, “Your father is my elder brother. He entrusted me to take good care of you here.”
"That bastard is your older brother?" Ni Duoduo asked dismissively. "Then you're my uncle?"
With a stern face, I turned to her and said in a serious tone, "First, I'm not your uncle. I only call your father 'elder brother.' But we're not related by blood... Second, remember this..." I stared into her eyes, "If you call him a bastard again, or utter even a single insult to him, I guarantee you'll regret it! No one can insult him like that in front of me. Including you."
My fierce gaze probably intimidated her. But the young girl wasn't going to back down so easily; she stubbornly insisted, "Damn it! I'm not easily scared!"
I ignored her and kept driving. I was driving towards Ni Duoduo's house.
Ni Duoduo owns a house in a residential area in the western part of the city. It was left by her mother and grandmother, but since Ni Duoduo now lives at school, the house is mostly empty.
The girl didn't say anything at first, but when I drove to her neighborhood, she finally changed her expression: "How did you know I live here?"
I chuckled and tapped my temple. "Use your brain, little sister! I know your father. Of course, I got all your information from him!"
Ni Duoduo shrank back, her eyes darting around: "But how do I know if you're telling the truth? You said you were sent by that bastard. What proof do you have?"
I didn't say a word, just stared at her coldly for a full five seconds, then got out of the car, walked around to her side, forcefully pulled open the door, dragged her out of the car, and pressed her against the car body, her back to me. Then I raised my hand and slapped her hard on the buttocks!
I hit her hard! I hit her more than a dozen times, and Ni Duoduo screamed in pain. Only then did I release her, staring at her sideways: "I warned you, you're not allowed to talk about your father like that!"
Ni Duoduo's face turned pale with anger. She clutched her buttocks in pain and glared at me hatefully: "You!! You dare to hit me!! No one has ever dared to hit me like that before!"
Seeing her about to pounce on me again, I said coldly, "If you misbehave again, I'll hit you again! Do you believe me?"
Ni Duoduo's eyes darted around, then she suddenly pointed behind me, a look of surprise on her face: "Ah! Police! Help!!"
After saying that, she turned and ran. Unfortunately, she hadn't gone more than ten steps when I grabbed her and, without saying a word, hoisted her up again. Ni Duoduo scratched and hit me, screaming for help.
When this girl gets desperate, she'll scream for anything. She starts by screaming for help, then she screams for molestation, and then it turns into screams for rape! Catch the pervert!
It was broad daylight, and not the weekend, so most people in the neighborhood were probably homeless. But if she kept yelling like that, it might cause some trouble. I pulled a pack of tissues out of my pocket and shoved it into her mouth without a word, silencing the young woman, then ran up to the fourth floor.
I took the key from Ni Duoduo's pocket, opened her front door and went inside. Only then did I put her down, but I locked the door behind me and put the key in my own pocket.
As soon as I put Ni Duoduo down, she immediately took the pack of tissues out of her mouth, gagged and coughed for a long time, glared at me angrily, and then suddenly rushed into the kitchen, grabbed a cleaver and ran towards me.
I shook my head, and before she could get close, I lightly chopped the back of her hand. Ni Duoduo's hand went numb, and I had already snatched the cleaver from her. I casually tossed it onto the table, and continued to look at her with a mocking smile on my face.
The girl froze, watching helplessly as the knife in her hand somehow ended up in mine. She was probably a little confused, but then she screamed, turned around and ran into the room, slamming the door shut behind her.
I'm not in a hurry at all.
I slowly walked to the door, took out the key from my pocket, tried it twice, and found the key to this room. I easily opened the door. Ni Duoduo was sitting in the corner of the room, holding an air conditioner remote control. As soon as she saw me come in, she screamed again.
I sighed: "Are you ever going to stop?"
"Don't come any closer!" Ni Duoduo looked like she was about to cry.
"I won't do anything to you." I pouted, looking at the air conditioner remote she was clutching tightly in her hand, and couldn't help but laugh: "Can't you find something else to use as a weapon?"
Ni Duoduo said with a mournful face, "I can't find it..."
I was amused by that, shook my head and walked over to her: "I won't do anything to you, let's go outside and have a good talk, okay?"
After I finished speaking, I held out my hand to her. Ni Duoduo seemed to hesitate for a moment, then finally dropped the air conditioner remote control in her hand and stood up.
I breathed a sigh of relief; the girl's attitude had finally softened a bit.
But just then, I seemed to see a strange look in Ni Duoduo's eyes! Then I felt a sharp pain in my lower back! It was as if I had been hit hard by something! Half of my body went numb, and I fell down!
Ni Duoduo screamed, kicked me in the waist, then quickly stepped over me and ran towards the door. Only then did I notice that she was clutching a miniature stun gun! The kind of electric baton women use to protect themselves from perverts!
Damn it, I actually got ambushed by this little girl!
I took a deep breath. Although half of my body was numb, I struggled to stand up and rushed out the door. I saw Ni Duoduo frantically rummaging through a small box on the living room table for a spare set of keys. She ran to the door and screamed in fright when she saw me running out. She tried desperately to insert the key into the keyhole, but the more anxious she was, the less she could find the right spot.
I walked over and dragged her over. Ni Duoduo knew she wasn't as strong as me, so she simply stopped resisting and obediently let me drag her to the sofa to sit down, looking up at me.
Then, the two of us, one sitting and one standing, stared at each other. After a long while, Ni Duoduo suddenly said in a strange tone, "Hey...didn't you want to rape me? Why haven't you done it yet?"
Then she simply closed her eyes and shouted, "Come on! I can't fight you or beat you anyway, so I'll just pretend I'm being held down by a ghost!"
I was so angry I almost slapped her across the face, but I patiently said, "Who the hell wants to rape you..." I stared at her, but she actually laughed out of anger: "I'll say it again, I know your father, so I came to see you, that's all."
"That's all?" Ni Duoduo suddenly jumped up, pointing her finger at my nose: "How many times did you hug me? And you even touched my butt! Doesn't that count as molestation?!"
I immediately retorted, "You? You're just a little kid. I'm not interested in you!"
Upon hearing this, Ni Duoduo screamed again, shouting, "You called me a little kid? I... I'll fight you to the death!!"
Before she could unleash her wild, chaotic punches, I shoved her back down and dragged a chair over to sit in front of her: "If you want to fight, I'll fight you later... Can we talk this over properly now?"
I took an envelope out of my pocket. Inside was a photo of Ni Duoduo and a bank card. "These were given to me by your father. This photo is of you, isn't it?" I deliberately glanced at her sideways and clicked my tongue. "Sigh, she used to be such a pretty girl. How did she end up looking like a ghost?"
Ni Duoduo immediately retorted, "Pah! What do you know? This is called individuality!"
I stared at her afro: "Is this what you call individuality? So, a head that's been struck by lightning is considered individuality?"
"You country bumpkin, I can't be bothered to talk to you." Ni Duoduo turned to the side.
I didn't bother arguing with a child. Pointing to the card on the table, I said, "There's a million in here. It was given to me by your father, and this money was specifically prepared for you..."
Ni Duoduo's eyes lit up: "One million?" Then she reached for the bank card, but I had already taken it back: "...However, considering my initial understanding of you today, I doubt that you have the ability to properly manage this money, so I will keep it for you in accordance with your father's wishes."
She puffed out her cheeks in anger: "Why! Why should I listen to you?"
"Because I'm stronger, tougher, and fiercer than you, you have no choice but to listen to me," I said calmly. "Any other questions?"
Ni Duoduo finally sighed, seemingly admitting defeat this time: "No more... I give up, okay?"
Part One: A Man in the Martial World, Unable to Control His Own Fate, Chapter Seventy-One: A Young Girl's Heart
I really wanted to talk to this girl. But she seemed very resistant, with a smug look on her face. Although I took her cigarettes away, she pulled out a piece of chewing gum from her pocket and chewed it for an hour.
For a whole hour, she sat on the sofa, chewing gum. If I tried to say anything to her, she would just roll her eyes and wouldn't listen at all, not even saying a word.
I chuckled, decided to keep quiet, turned on the TV in the living room, and sat down next to her. She immediately shifted away, as if I carried a virus. I ignored her, picked up the remote, propped my legs up on the coffee table, and watched TV. After flipping through a dozen channels, I finally settled on a recording of a European football match.
I had watched this game before, but now I'm pretending to be really enjoying it.
Sure enough, a child is a child after all, and her patience is no match for that of an adult. She tried to act cool for an hour, but finally couldn't take it anymore. First, she kept shifting her body on the sofa as if she had bugs on her body. Then she kept chewing gum and blowing bubbles. She blew more than a dozen bubbles, but I didn't even look at her. My eyes were fixed on the TV.
"Hey!" Ni Duoduo suddenly shouted, "Uncle! What exactly do you want? Do you think this is your own home? Give me an answer, are you going to kill me or torture me?"
I smiled and said, "What? You're finally willing to speak?"
Ni Duoduo rolled her eyes at me again: "Are you sick in the head? Why are you meddling in my business for no reason? I don't even know you!"
I shrugged: "I don't know you either... If it weren't for your father, I wouldn't even bother with a delinquent like you."
Ni Duoduo rolled her eyes again: "You know that Wang..." She quickly swallowed the word "bastard" when she saw me glare at her. She continued, "What does it matter to me if you know him? I don't need your help! Please, I'm an adult! I have an ID card! You're violating my human rights, do you know that? I can call the police!"
I didn't get angry: "Whatever."
Ni Duoduo jumped up: "What exactly do you want?" She puffed out her cheeks with anger, almost pointing her finger at my nose.
I then looked up at her and said, "First, I need you to fix your hair. This hairstyle is terrible. It looks awful."
"Mind your own business! Even if I shave my head, it's none of your concern."
I completely ignored her shouting: "Secondly, I need to have a proper talk with you. If you have this attitude, we can't communicate."
"Alright... let's talk!" Ni Duoduo sat down on the coffee table. She expertly pulled a cigarette from my pack, but seeing my glare, she quickly put it back down, disgruntled, "Can't I even smoke?"
I sighed and took out the photo. "The person in this photo is you, right?" I looked into her eyes and tried my best to sound sincere. "This photo was taken a few years ago, wasn't it? You looked so pretty in it, weren't you a very charming young girl?"
