Chapitre 207

The idea of starting this book was actually my own. I think everyone has dreams, some people have big dreams, and mine are relatively small.

I have two dreams: to create a game that I enjoy playing and to write a novel that I enjoy reading.

To be honest, this book was just a trial run for me. I didn't choose numerical flow, which is something I'm not really good at, because it was my first time writing one and I wasn't very confident.

When I started writing, I only laid out the numerical system and world view, without thinking about it in great detail. Many readers should be able to sense that I have been searching for a writing style that suits me, and I still wouldn't dare to say that I will write a full-length novel.

I rarely comment in the book review section, and I've never asked for votes. In fact, I've read every comment carefully, including the chapter comments. Every morning, the first thing I do when I wake up is to check the chapter comments.

Many people have reported typos, and I apologize to the readers in advance. I will gradually improve the review process, as sometimes we are indeed in a rush.

Some industries are known for requiring overtime work. My personality is such that if I decide to continue writing, I will definitely maintain a stable update schedule. So sometimes when I get home from get off work, I rush to write, quickly upload and schedule the posting, and then go straight to sleep.

I've maintained this routine since I started writing. Every day after get off work, I go home, write, and then go to sleep. I also write more on weekends.

To write a book that I want to read, I obviously still need to hone my writing skills. So I have to ask for your support, because your subscriptions are my motivation to create.

Two months have passed in the blink of an eye.

It's going to be released soon, and I haven't written much of a review yet, so I can only share my feelings.

Buffalo is a very honest person, and he's sincerely asking for subscriptions. For a game lead planner who's hoping to earn some extra money, subscriptions are really important; they're an affirmation of my value.

After it's published, I'll start updating at 8 PM every night. I'll try to add more chapters on weekends, and I'll write more whenever I have free time on weekends.

That's all for now, I'm afraid some people will start talking too much if I keep writing.

One last thing.

Chapter 156: The Operation Begins

Datong Town.

Inside a gambling den.

The small gambling den was packed with people, and the gamblers' loud shouts could be heard from a mile away.

Though small, the sparrow has all the vital organs.

This small gambling den offers a wide variety of games, including mahjong, dominoes, big/small, odd/even, and more.

"Come, come, come."

"Press quickly, press quickly, it'll open soon."

At a gambling table playing Sic Bo, a burly man, shirtless and with muscles like blocks of iron, with a gloomy expression, pushed the few coins on the table into the small bet circle, then hesitated, longing to push into the big bet.

The dealer, looking somewhat displeased with the burly man, said rather rudely:

"Zuo Shandiao, are you betting on big or small? If you can't handle losing, don't play. Go home and play with your women."

"What nonsense are you spouting? Everyone in Datong knows my name, Zuo Shandiao. Do you think I can't afford to lose? I'm betting everything, kid."

Zuo Shandiao was the man's nickname. He was a notorious wandering swordsman in Datong Town, but because of his strength, he had gathered a group of followers, and no one dared to cause him any trouble.

"Okay, place your bet."

The dealer gave a soft shout, slapped his hand on the gambling table, and the dice that were pressed on the table flew into the air. He swept the dice tube to catch the dice in the air, and kept twisting his right hand, making the dice tube make a thumping sound.

"Small."

"Small, small."

Zuo Shandiao stared intently at the dice tube, muttering to himself in sync with the sound of the dice.

Unbeknownst to anyone, two people had arrived outside the gambling den. Both were dressed in dark green robes, with a four-foot-long sword sheathed in their right hands, and a token hanging from their waists with three large characters: Six Doors.

These two were none other than constables from the Six Doors.

After arriving outside the gambling den, the two kicked the gate open.

"Who is the Mountain Eagle?"

The gambling den fell silent instantly, and everyone turned to look at the two constables from the Six Doors.

The bare-backed Zuo Shandiao glared at the two constables from the Six Doors with a hostile expression and asked in a gloomy tone, "I am Zuo Shandiao. Who are you? I don't think I know you."

"Is it him?"

Two constables from the Six Doors, one of them took out a portrait, carefully compared it, and nodded, saying:

"That's right, it's him."

"The Six Doors are handling this matter; all irrelevant personnel shall leave."

The entire casino was immediately thrown into chaos, and Zuo Shandiao, seeing the situation was not good, tried to escape.

A flash of cold light, and the long sword was drawn.

Once the two constables from the Six Doors confirmed that the other party was the person they were looking for, they didn't waste any words and immediately took action.

Unfortunately, it was too late. The two men blocked his path from the front and back, and captured his opponent in less than ten moves.

"You little brats, do you even know who I am?"
