"Help! I've graduated from university and have no direction. I hope a hero will take me on as his apprentice!"
"Help! My land has been seized by village bullies!"
...
The cases are all sorts of things, everything imaginable. But if your girlfriend ran off with someone else, why aren't you chasing after her? And what kind of help are you asking for? You know, I don't even have a girlfriend yet!
Speaking of this, Ma Xiaoniu felt a little sad, but there was nothing he could do. His family was poor, and although he had dated several girlfriends who were all great, things always fell apart when they met at his family home. It was just... Originally, Ma Xiaoniu was thinking of finding a girlfriend, but now he had a bigger dream, and girlfriends were no longer that important.
As he flipped through the pages, Ma Xiaoniu suddenly remembered that there had been a narcotics officer before, but at the time it was too far away to reach him, but now it was no problem at all.
I found a post from a narcotics police officer.
“My name is Zhao Dongming. I live near the Baihu Temple in northern Puwang, and I…”
The post ended abruptly, seemingly in a rush, perhaps even without finishing typing. Perhaps Zhao Dongming has already been arrested? Now, so much time has passed, he's probably…
Ma Xiaoniu tried sending a private message to this person named Zhao Dongming on the demon forum, but the message disappeared without a trace. It seems that Zhao Dongming has really encountered danger or has already been killed.
I can't wait any longer. It seems I have to go there tonight. I packed my things, put my demon gear into my backpack, and then teleported to Phuwang, Myanmar.
Bhuvan has a lot of temples, and you can often see monks walking by on the street. The whole street is filled with a strong scent of sandalwood.
I hailed a taxi, and the driver leaned out of the window. "Mingolaba," he said, "recently, the encoding issue has been severe, which motivates us to update faster. Please step out of reading mode if you'd like. Thank you."
===Chapter Twenty-Two===
“Uh…” Ma Xiaoniu was stunned. He couldn’t speak Burmese and couldn’t understand it either. But that didn’t matter. Ma Xiaoniu took out his phone and found Baidu Translate to translate the three characters of Baihuo Temple into Burmese.
The taxi driver glanced at his phone, nodded to Ma Xiaoniu, and gave an OK sign.
"OK, OK, let's go!"
Once inside the car, the taxi driver stepped on the gas, and the taxi roared off.
Phuwang is not a large city; it only takes about half an hour by taxi to reach the northern part of Phuwang.
The taxi driver turned to look at Ma Xiaoniu, mumbled a few words, and then gave an OK sign.
"OK?" Ma Xiaoniu looked out of the car. There were several temples nearby. Not knowing Burmese, Ma Xiaoniu was confused. He took out his phone, translated the words "Which one is the Fire Temple" and showed them to the driver.
The driver mumbled a couple more words in the language, looking helpless, then pointed to a golden temple about a hundred meters ahead of the car, and mumbled a couple more words. Ma Xiaoniu roughly guessed that the golden temple he was referring to was probably the Fire Worship Temple.
He gave an OK sign, paid, and got out of the car. The taxi roared to life again and sped away. Ma Xiaoniu was a little puzzled; why was it driving so fast?
Ma Xiaoniu walked slowly forward. In this area alone, Ma Xiaoniu saw four or five temples, some large and some small. The Fire Worship Temple was the largest on this street, golden in color, and looked magnificent.
Arriving at the entrance of Baihuo Temple, although it was already late, there were still quite a few worshippers coming and going. Ma Xiaoniu was about to go in for a look when he was stopped by a fat monk at the entrance. The fat monk was looking at Ma Xiaoniu angrily and muttering something under his breath.
Huh? What did I do wrong? Ma Xiaoniu looked at the monk with a puzzled expression. The fat monk talked for a while, but seeing that Ma Xiaoniu didn't understand, he pointed to Ma Xiaoniu's feet and mumbled a few more words.
Feet? Ma Xiaoniu looked around at the worshippers and suddenly realized that they had all taken off their shoes before going in; he hadn't noticed. He gave the monk an embarrassed smile, then took off his shoes and moved them aside, looking at the fat monk again. The fat monk nodded, indicating that he could go in.
The temple grounds were spacious with wooden floors and several gilded Buddha statues, each over two meters tall and imposing. Many worshippers went to offer incense and kowtow before the statues. Ma Xiaoniu, of course, wouldn't. He wasn't a Buddhist, and besides, he was there to investigate the case of the narcotics police officers being trapped. Moreover, it was uncertain whether the case was related to the Baihuo Temple, especially since Zhao Dongming's message mentioned it was near the temple.
After wandering around for a while, Ma Xiaoniu found nothing particularly special. Besides the Buddha statues, there were pilgrims coming and going, and a few monks in yellow robes. Perhaps Zhao Dongming's predicament had nothing to do with Baihuo Temple? Ma Xiaoniu wandered around for a while longer before finally leaving Baihuo Temple.
After leaving the Fire Worship Temple, Ma Xiaoniu wandered around the streets and visited several other temples, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary. However, Ma Xiaoniu was certain that Zhao Dongming was in this area; it was a sixth sense.
Standing at the end of this street, further ahead lies another street, and we are getting further and further away from the Fire Temple. Suddenly, a figure flickered in a corner of the street.
"Huh? Someone's watching me?" Ma Xiaoniu didn't immediately look at that corner; that would be too obvious. He turned around and continued walking slowly back. In that instant, out of the corner of his eye, he caught a glimpse of a young man in casual clothes standing in the corner, but due to the lighting, he couldn't make out what the person looked like. However, Ma Xiaoniu was certain that this person was watching him! This meant that the other person was indeed in this area, and had already become suspicious of him. Ma Xiaoniu became alert. Although he possessed superpowers, he was still flesh and blood. If someone shot him in the back, Ma Xiaoniu would definitely be dead! Teleportation was great, but you had to know in advance!
However, he couldn't show it now, so he continued to wander slowly. His immediate priority was to find a more enclosed space so he could use teleportation. However, Ma Xiaoniu sensed the person behind him was still following him; it seemed the other party was indeed highly suspicious of him. His best course of action was to get rid of this person! This wasn't difficult for Ma Xiaoniu. He seemingly casually turned his head, then silently used his "feces-pointing" skill on the person behind him, before continuing forward. When he reached a corner near the Baihuo Temple, Ma Xiaoniu glanced around and realized the person following him was gone. Come to think of it, how could someone with their pants full of excrement monitor him? Looking around, there was a hotel not far from the Baihuo Temple. The hotel looked very upscale, but Ma Xiaoniu didn't have a visa or any identification, so he originally planned to stay there for free!
He teleported to a room on the fourth floor of the hotel. The room was dark from the outside, clearly unoccupied. Upon entering, he found no electricity or running water because he didn't have a key card, but that didn't matter. Ma Xiaoniu lay down on the bed and gazed out the window.
Ma Xiaoniu is now certain of two things: first, Zhao Dongming is indeed trapped in this area, though his exact location doesn't require further investigation; second, the other party is sufficiently vigilant and has already become suspicious of him, meaning the subsequent investigation may encounter numerous difficulties, and he must proceed with extreme caution. Now, his only hope is to obtain a sufficiently powerful superpower. Fortunately, he can draw it again at midnight today.
Time flies, and before I knew it, it was past midnight.
"Drawing begins. Please complete the draw within two minutes, otherwise an automatic draw will be conducted and a penalty will be imposed..."

Mission: Kill, kid, you're a born villain. Two days to complete.
Ma Xiaoniu rolled over and went back to sleep. We'll talk about it tomorrow.
At 6:30 the next morning, Ma Xiaoniu got up on time, but damn it, there was no water or electricity, so he couldn't wash up. Oh well, whatever. He teleported to a corner next to the Fire Worship Temple. Today, he had to investigate thoroughly!
Emerging from the corner, the street was still relatively deserted. The gates of the Baihuo Temple had just opened, and a monk was sweeping up trash. Ma Xiaoniu walked up to the monk, flashing a big smile.
The monk looked up at him, completely bewildered. What's this guy laughing at?
"Gibberish, awesome! Doya mie tee?"
The monk was dumbfounded. What the hell? Had he lost his hearing? He looked at Ma Xiaoniu, slowly raising the broom in his hand, his eyes blazing with anger. Damn it, I may be a monk, but I'm not some idiot!
Ma Xiaoniu gave an awkward smile. "Damn, not being able to speak Burmese is such a hassle!" He quickly waved to the monk, "Good morning!" and then ran away in a flash.
The monk remained bewildered, touching his bald head. What the hell…
Leaving the entrance of the Fire Worship Temple, Ma Xiaoniu had a headache. The language barrier was killing him! He couldn't even ask around for information; it seemed he couldn't rely on his mouth and would have to depend on his eyes and ears. But if he kept wandering around the streets, anyone with a brain problem would become suspicious!
Huh? There's a small restaurant on the street. I haven't had breakfast yet, so I'll go there to satisfy my hunger.
