"Why?" Fei Hua asked, puzzled.
"The fact that they rushed over so anxiously means something must have happened. Our people are all fine, so it's not our business. What would we be doing there? If not as spectators, what else could we be doing? Are we going to steal the show and put on a performance?" Li Yang said with a laugh.
"I don't think so. Maybe they're doing something shady. We can't just be spectators; we have to stop them." Fei Hua disagreed with Li Yang's opinion.
“That’s true. You’re right,” Li Yang nodded.
The two stopped flying flowers and quickly arrived within the area of West Mountain.
"Why are you going up the mountain?" Fei Hua asked in surprise.
"Who knows? Probably doing something naughty up in the mountains. The scenery's beautiful," Li Yang said with a sly grin. Fei Hua, however, didn't understand his meaning and nodded, "That's right, these guys are definitely doing something shady."
“Not bad, not bad. Of course it can’t be shown to anyone, you have to do that kind of thing in secret.” Li Yang chuckled and said.
"Your smile is so weird, what are you trying to do?" Fei Hua turned to look at Li Yang, puzzled.
"It's nothing. Let's hurry up and go, or we might miss the show!" Li Yang quickly changed the subject, not wanting Fei Hua to delve any further.
The two suddenly quickened their pace, zipping through the woods and climbing up the mountain. When they reached the halfway point, they heard voices from the summit. However, they weren't speaking Chinese; they were speaking English. One person spoke with a perfect European or American accent, while the other had a very strange accent, clearly not of European or American descent, but from somewhere else. English is a second language, so it has an accent.
Li Yang and Fei Hua dared not go any further. They stopped behind a dense thicket of bushes halfway up the mountain, straining their ears to listen to their conversation. Judging from the sounds and breathing, there were definitely many people up there; those they had been chasing had all made it up the mountain. Li Yang and Fei Hua exchanged a glance, both seeing the confusion in each other's eyes. However, Li Yang's confusion was far more profound than Fei Hua's, because he had heard the name "Jiuli." Li Yang listened intently, his eyes and expression incredibly serious, but upon closer inspection, one could see his gaze drifting slightly downwards, his eyes fixed on a certain cleavage that was faintly visible as Feihua crouched down. It was fair and glistening, radiating a captivating glow even in the night, and exuding an alluring fragrance.
"Oh, I see. I was wondering why," Li Yang said, suddenly realizing.
"Got it? Do you know what they're going to do?" Fei Hua asked.
"I don't know," Li Yang said, shaking his head.
"Are you brainless?!" Fei Hua said angrily.
"You molested me!" Li Yang cried out indignantly, arms crossed.
“I…I suspect they’re after Chi You’s essence blood,” Fei Hua said, making a startling statement.
"How do you know it's Chi You's essence blood? Chi You was a person from ancient times, his bones have long since turned to ashes and who knows where he's gone. How could there be essence blood left behind? That's ridiculous!" Li Yang shouted.
