Kapitel 104

"Master, you're late today."

Ruffled Arya's hair, Hao Yun took out his twin swords, and placed them in Arya's hands.

"These two knives are yours."

Arya jumped for joy when she saw Hao Yun give her the twin swords.

"There's something I need to tell you: I'm leaving soon, and you can choose one of these six wolf cubs."

Arya's excited smile vanished instantly.

"Master, are you leaving?"

Hao Yun nodded. He had originally planned to leave a few days ago, but the Ice Wolf had delayed him.

"I will come back. You must practice the martial arts I taught you well. If I fail the test when I come back, I will take back the twin swords."

"Yes, I will practice hard."

Pulling Arya to his side, Hao Yun called over the six wolf cubs.

"Pick whichever one you like."

The six little dire wolves knew they were going to be given away. Five of them took a step back, while only the smallest one, Little Seven, came closer.

Hao Yun smiled and patted Xiao Qi's head.

"Arya, it seems they've already made the choice for you. This direwolf is named Little Seven. Since it's willing to follow you, you must treat it well, or your master might turn against you."

"I will treat it well."

Holding the wolf cub in her arms, Arya made a solemn promise.

"Alright, then I'll leave Xiao Qi to you. Since you call me master, I can't treat you unfairly."

Hao Yun placed his index finger on Arya's forehead, transmitting a common martial arts technique into Arya's brain.

Arya was somewhat frightened when something suddenly appeared in her brain.

"Don't worry, this is a cultivation technique that your master passed on to you. Practice it diligently according to the instructions on it, and I hope that by the time I return, you will have made some progress."

After saying this, Hao Yun grabbed Arya's hand, cut her fingers with his twin blades, and smeared the blood on them.

Arya gasped in surprise. Hao Yun released her hand and healed the wound on her hand with a small spell.

The twin swords that Hao Yun gave to Arya were almost transformed into acquired spiritual treasures, so their power was naturally considerable. However, since the twin swords were not bound to Arya before, their true strength had not yet been revealed.

"These two swords were forged by your master and are called the Dragon and Phoenix Swords. You must be careful when using them to avoid accidentally injuring others."

Hao Yun threw the twin swords into the air. One sword emitted a dragon's roar, and the other a phoenix's cry. They spun once in the air and then slashed at the artificial hill in the courtyard. The swords cut through the hill like tofu, turning it into rubble.

With a wave of his hand, the twin swords returned to Hao Yun's hands, and Arya, standing to the side, almost popped her eyes out.

"Master...Master..."

Hao Yun patted Arya's head and interrupted her.

"Don't worry, as long as you diligently practice the techniques I teach you, you will be able to do it in the future."

Raising her little head, Arya looked at Hao Yun as if he were a god.

"Master, are you a god?"

"I guess so."

In this ordinary world, it's not wrong for Hao Yun to claim he's a god.

At this moment, Arya was deeply shocked. Her master was a god, so what was she? A disciple of a god, or a messenger of a god?

"I'm leaving now. You should focus on your cultivation."

Riding on Moonlight, Hao Yun left the castle, left Winterfell, and headed straight for the harbor.

To find Daenerys Targaryen, Hao Yun's first task is to cross the Narrow Sea.

Unsure of the route, Hao Yun was worried about getting lost, so he decided to hire a large ship.

Following Rob's directions to the port, Hao Yun hurried along. With the moonlight enhanced by elixirs, he could already travel tens of thousands of miles a day.

The journey of a hundred miles took Moonlight only one morning to reach its destination.

Hao Yun, riding a giant wolf, caused a sensation as soon as he appeared at the port, and everyone gave him the title of Silver Wolf Knight.

Unaware of this, Hao Yun, surrounded by onlookers, found a large ship and proposed to cross the Narrow Sea to go to Pentos.

At first, the captain disagreed, but Hao Yun presented him with the Golden Dragon, which he could not refuse.

"Dear guest, please board the ship. We will depart immediately."

Three thousand golden dragons were only enough to send Hao Yun and six wolves across the narrow sea; only a fool would disagree.

The captain respectfully invited Hao Yun aboard, then shouted loudly at the crew.

"Weigh the anchor and set off! Everyone get moving! Anyone who dares to slack off, I'll throw them out to feed the sharks!"

The crew got busy, and the large ship quickly sailed out of the port, heading towards Pantos.

After boarding the ship, the dire wolves appeared very restless, especially after the ship set sail; the six dire wolves became even more listless.

Hao Yun fed them a few pills, and the ice wolves finally regained some energy.

After three days at sea, the dire wolves had fully recovered and were now jumping around on the ship. If Hao Yun hadn't stopped them, the lively wolves would probably have already jumped into the sea to play.

Standing at the bow of the ship, Hao Yun stroked the hair on Moonlight's neck while asking the captain a question not far away.

How much longer until we reach Pentos?

"Dear guest, if there are no storms on the road, you will arrive within ten days."

The captain was very respectful to Hao Yun, firstly because of the money, and secondly because of Hao Yun's martial prowess. A couple of days ago, someone who was blind enough to offend Hao Yun was almost bitten to death by Moonlight, who was standing next to Hao Yun.

Chapter 142 The Governor's Office

On the other side of the Narrow Sea, at the governor's mansion in Pentos, Prince Viserys the Beggar arrived with Daenerys Targaryen, the Mother of Dragons.

Viserys was called the Prince of Beggars because he was so poor that he had nothing but a string of nice-sounding titles.

The reason this group of powerful and influential people were willing to entertain Viserys was because of his reputation.

After all, Viserys was the last prince of House Targaryen. If he could reclaim the Iron Throne, those who fawned over him would receive an incredibly rich reward.

The person now entertaining the brother and sister is the most powerful man in Pentos, Governor Joyrio.

In order to get a reward for his efforts, the governor proposed to marry Daenerys to Khal Drogo, who was no ordinary man; he was the king of the largest and most powerful tribe among the nomadic peoples.

In exchange for marrying Daenerys, he could gain an army. Upon hearing this, Prince Viserys, the beggar, was green with envy.

With an army, he would have the power to reclaim the Iron Throne. Without a second thought, Viserys agreed to the governor's proposal, completely disregarding what his sister thought.

After some secret planning, Viserys' smile deepened; he was now starting to daydream.

In his mind, once he had the army, he would surely be able to reclaim the Seven Kingdoms, regain the Iron Throne, and countless supporters would form an army to help him overthrow the current King Robert's rule.

As for the governor, his fat cheeks were squinted together with his smile.

Hao Yun, who had traveled by boat all the way to Pentos, finally arrived at his destination.

After asking a few random people on the street, Hao Yun got the information he wanted: Daenerys Targaryen had not yet married Khal Drogo and was currently a guest at the Governor's Mansion, where a grand banquet was to be held that evening.

Riding on the moonlight, Hao Yun swayed and strolled toward the governor's mansion. He hadn't gone far when a group of soldiers surrounded him.

"Please stop!"

A minor leader stepped forward, staring warily at Hao Yun, his hand gripping the hilt of his sword.

The ten soldiers following behind him had already pointed their spears at Hao Yun.

"Is there something you need?"

Hao Yun looked at the leader, his expression unchanged.

"Wild animals are not allowed in the city. Please put them in cages."

The soldier's words displeased the dire wolves, especially the five cubs, who bared their fangs and let out a low growl at their leader.

The leader took a step back and drew his long sword from his waist.

"Don't be nervous, these are my pets, can't you make an exception for them?"

Hao Yun took out a money bag and tossed it over. The underling caught it, opened it, glanced at it, and then stuffed it into his pocket.

"It's not impossible, but you need to keep a close eye on them. If they hurt anyone, we won't be lenient!"

Hao Yun smiled and indicated that there was no problem. The soldier then turned and left.

Riding on the moonlight, they found a hotel and rented a small courtyard. After all, Hao Yun had six ice wolves with him, and they couldn't stay without a courtyard.

After settling the direwolves in, Hao Yun left the courtyard and headed towards the governor's mansion.

Ignoring the guards outside, Hao Yun cast an invisibility spell on himself and swaggered inside.

The governor's mansion was extremely luxurious, far exceeding Hao Yun's imagination.

Along the way, Hao Yun couldn't help but nod in praise, thinking how much effort the people who renovated the governor's mansion had put in.

Turning past the front yard, the back yard appeared much more understated and luxurious, with a small bridge over a stream, flowers in full bloom, and servants dressed in sheer gauze and brocade coming and going.

Hao Yun could tell from these people's clothing how wealthy this governor was, at least richer than Ed, the Warden of the North.

After searching the backyard, Hao Yun couldn't find Daenerys Targaryen, because he had never seen her before, and even using his divine sense to search for her was useless.

With a quick thought, Hao Yun came up with an idea. He walked around the garden and found a lone maid.

Walking up behind her, Hao Yun covered her mouth. The little girl didn't struggle or scream; she just looked up at Hao Yun.

"Very well, don't shout, or else!"

Hao Yun gestured towards his neck, and the little girl remained quiet, nodding to indicate that she wouldn't make any noise.

"I'll ask you a question, and you answer it. If you answer my question, I'll let you go."

The two exchanged glances, and the little girl indicated that it was fine.

After the two sides reached an agreement, Hao Yun released his hand. Anyway, if the little girl really screamed, he had a way to shut her up immediately.
