Kapitel 267

"Disarm!"

Mrs. Weasley waved her wand, and the field mouse turned into Little Pettigrew.

Upon regaining his human form, Little Pettigrew was not used to it and still retained some of his rodent-like habits.

Curled up on the ground, Pettigrew raised his head, but before he could speak, Mrs. Weasley roared.

"Why! Why did you betray Lily and the others!"

The children in the family gathered at the bottom of the stairs, all dumbfounded.

"No! I didn't mean to, it was the mysterious man, he wanted to kill me! He really wanted to kill me! I was just forced into it, I..."

"Enough!"

Mrs. Weasley was trembling with rage; she didn't believe a word Pettigrew said.

For so many years, she believed that Sirius Black was the murderer, that he betrayed Harry's family, and that Peter Pettigrew was the hero.

"Don't get agitated. Let's leave this to the Ministry of Magic."

Hao Yun was genuinely worried that Mrs. Weasley would be so enraged that she would kill Pettigrew.

If Little Pettigrew dies, then Sirius will never be able to emerge.

"Alright! Hand him over to the Ministry of Magic and let the Dementors punish him."

Mrs. Weasley was furious, but she was still prepared to hand him over to the Ministry of Magic.

Pettigrew, who was lying on the ground trembling, suddenly lunged forward, trying to snatch Mrs. Weasley's wand.

The flying sword, suspended in mid-air, sliced off Little Star's legs in a flash.

"ah!"

The people standing at the top of the stairs all screamed.

Coming to her senses, Mrs. Weasley retreated to the stairwell and took the children back to the second floor.

Having lost both legs, Little Pettigrew clutched his severed legs in terror, letting out a wail.

"I warned you to behave yourself."

Hao Yun cast a healing spell to stop the bleeding from Little Star, then stared at him with icy eyes.

"Please, spare me! I don't want to go to Azkaban! I can be your servant, your loyal servant!"

Little Pettigrew is like a dog wagging its tail and begging for mercy, utterly devoid of dignity.

"If it weren't for rescuing Sirius, you would be dead by now."

Hao Yun's icy gaze made Little Star tremble all over, and he lay on the ground, no longer daring to make a sound.

A few minutes later, a green light flashed from the fireplace, and a travel-worn Arthur emerged from it.

"What happened?"

In the letter, Mrs. Weasley only said that there was an urgent matter and asked him to come back, but Arthur did not know what it was about.

When he walked to Hao Yun's side, he saw Peter Pettigrew, who had lost both legs.

"You...you are Peter!"

Arthur exclaimed in surprise and got up to help Petit Petit.

"Don't go over there! He's the one who betrayed Harry's family!"

Mrs. Weasley came downstairs and glared at Pettigrew resentfully.

"What?"

Arthur's mind is in turmoil. How could Peter, who should have died, not be dead and even be the murderer?

Shouldn't the murderer be Sirius Black? Why is it Peter?

Mrs. Weasley walked over to Arthur and repeated what Hao Yun had just said to him.

After hearing this, Arthur was trembling with anger, especially after learning that the murderer had been hiding in their house for thirteen years. He wanted nothing more than to kill him with his own hands!

"Alright, I'll notify the Ministry of Magic right now!"

Arthur summoned the owl, intending to report the matter of Pettigrew.

"etc!"

Hao Yun stopped them. If they just handed Sirius over to the Ministry of Magic like that, Sirius would probably have a hard time leaving Azkaban alive.

"Is there anything else?"

Arthur looked at Hao Yun with a puzzled expression.

"First, notify the newspapers and let them expose this matter to restore Sirius's reputation. Otherwise, even if the Ministry of Magic releases Sirius, his life will probably be very difficult in the future."

Mrs. Weasley was somewhat surprised by Hao Yun's words; she hadn't expected Hao Yun to see things so clearly.

The people in the Ministry of Magic are all bad news, especially the current Minister of Magic, Fudge.

"Do as he says, notify the newspaper first."

After a flurry of activity, the newspaper staff arrived first, followed by the Ministry of Magic.

Upon learning that Sirius Black was innocent and that Pettigrew was still alive, Fudge panicked and personally led a team to the scene.

When Fudge met Rita, a reporter from the Daily Prophet, his expression immediately changed.

He originally intended to handle this matter secretly to avoid damaging his reputation.

But now that the reporters have arrived, this matter can no longer be kept secret.

"Minister, this is Rita Sturgeon, a reporter from the Daily Prophet. Do you have anything to say about the Little Petrified Peltz incident?"

Fudge, that old fox, can only say four words: No comment!

However, just because Fudge didn't say anything didn't mean others wouldn't. Rita went directly to the Weasleys.

With Hao Yun's encouragement, the news of Sirius being wrongly accused spread like wildfire throughout the city the next day.

Under pressure, the Ministry of Magic had no choice but to release Sirius Black ahead of schedule. As for Peter Pettigrew, he was interrogated and then thrown into Azkaban.

Completely bewildered, Sirius Black was sent to Diagon Alley and hadn't yet figured out why he'd been released.

However, Sirius quickly figured out the reason: someone was secretly helping him.

Outside the humble dwelling, Sirius, who had carefully tidied himself up, knocked on the door.

"Arthur! Molly! Are you home?"

Chapter 326 Sirius

Who is it?

Mrs. Weasley, who was tidying up the house, called out as she walked toward the door.

When she saw Sirius Black outside, her eyes immediately welled up with tears.

After many years, the dashing and carefree playboy of yesteryear has become like this.

After spending so many years in Azkaban, Sirius Black had become skin and bones, with sunken eyes and a listless spirit.

The two embraced, and Mrs. Weasley's expression was full of apology.

When Sirius Black was arrested, no one believed him no matter how he tried to explain.

It could be said that they were the ones who sent Sirius Black to Azkaban.

"sorry."

This apology made Sirius tremble and burst into tears.

"No need to apologize. I'm the one who caused James and Lily's deaths. It's all my fault. I shouldn't have told Peter."

Sirius's loud crying attracted the attention of several children in the house.

Several people leaned out the window, looking at Sirius outside and discussing it animatedly.

"Who is that person? Have you seen him before?"

Ron looked at Fred and George.

Fred and George shook their heads. They had never seen this person before. Could this be their mother's ex-boyfriend?

As for Hao Yun, he recognized the person as Sirius at a glance.

“Come on, let’s go inside and talk. It wasn’t me who saved you, but that child.”

Mrs. Weasley pointed at Hao Yun, and Sirius looked up at her.

The two exchanged a glance, and Hao Yun nodded and smiled.

After going downstairs to meet Sirius, Hao Yun pulled him aside and they began to talk quietly.

"I rescued you for a reason."

Sirius was slightly taken aback. Purpose? What purpose? What could a penniless man like himself possibly have that would make others covet him?

"I can give you anything you want, whatever I have."

Hao Yun shook his head and said to him.

"Do you have a house-elf named Kreacher in your family?"

Sirius thought for a moment, and it seemed so, so he nodded.

“If you know this, things will be easier. Take me to him. Your brother stole a Horcrux from Voldemort, and when he died, he had Kreacher hide it.”

Sirius, who was initially quite bewildered, suddenly had a flash of hatred in his eyes when he heard the name Voldemort.

"Okay, shall we go now?"

Hao Yun nodded; of course, the sooner the better.

The two bid farewell and left the humble abode. Sirius led Hao Yun to the Black family ancestral home.

Kreacher, the house-elf, lives in the ancestral home.
