"Where did you get this car?" Qin Chu asked, trying to divert his attention.
“Borrowed,” Levy said.
"...Borrowed or stolen?" Qin Chu didn't believe it; how could a car be borrowed in two minutes?
"You didn't say you were stealing my electric scooter when you took it!" Levi said, and then turned around to look at him while holding the accelerator with one hand.
Qin Chu instantly thought of their first meeting, but seeing his posture, she slapped him on the back again: "Drive properly."
Levi turned back. He was in a hurry, but he still comforted Qin Chu: "Don't worry, we'll be there in a little while."
It's quite urgent.
Qin Chu just wanted to jump off the motorcycle and walk back.
But fearing that Levy would suddenly floor the gas pedal again, he could only say, "It's not in a hurry, drive slowly."
After he finished speaking, he felt that his words seemed a bit abrupt and out of place with the current atmosphere, so he explained, "If all else fails, I'll ask Noah to help adjust the numbers..."
The motorcycle made a sharp turn, the tires screeching against the track, drowning out Qin Chu's words.
The turn was dangerous; without slowing down at all, Qin Chu slapped Levi on the back again: "What are you doing?"
Unexpectedly, Levi turned to look at him directly, even lifting up his windshield: "You're in heat, what help is an AI like that?"
That remark was dripping with jealousy.
Qin Chu was in a bad mood at the moment and retorted directly, "Then why are you in such a hurry when I'm in heat?"
“You…” Levi was speechless.
There was a traffic jam ahead, so he reached out and slammed the horn on his hand, making a sound.
After passing this section of road, the base is just ahead.
Levi finally spoke again, his voice carrying a hint of unrestrained laughter: "I'm just in a hurry. It's fine if you're in heat, as long as it's only in front of me. But no one else can see you or even smell you."
There are few pedestrians and vehicles on this section of the road.
The surroundings were quiet, and even with the roar of motorcycles, Qin Chu heard every word Levi said.
Qin Chu was very surprised.
Surprisingly, this seemingly outrageous, unreasonable, and obnoxious statement didn't anger him.
He even wondered if Levi, being an Omega, also had a heat cycle, and he probably felt the same way.
This guy is really annoying, but... let's not let him go and cause trouble for others.
Thanks to Levy's efforts, the 30-minute drive was completed in just over ten minutes.
The base gates weren't closed yet when Levi led Qin Chu inside, drawing several envious whistles.
After driving all the way to the Omega dormitory, Levi stopped the car, took off his helmet, and immediately looked at Qin Chu: "How are you now?"
The back seat felt lighter as he watched Qin Chu step out of the car with his long legs, his light khaki military boots landing steadily on the ground.
Qin Chu kept his back straight, casually took off his helmet, and glanced at Levi.
Levi was slightly taken aback.
He couldn't see anything while wearing the helmet, but now that Qin Chu had taken it off, he noticed that Qin Chu's forehead was completely soaked with sweat, strands of it sticking to his cheeks.
Is it that...hot?
Her cheeks weren't particularly red.
However, the slightly upturned corners of her eyes were tinged with a vibrant color.
Qin Chu's attire was always simple: extremely white skin, jet-black hair and eyebrows, and even his lips were light and pale.
The crimson at the corners of his eyes was now exceptionally noticeable, giving him a striking appearance.
What truly stunned Levi was Qin Chu's gaze and his imposing aura.
Although his eyes were red and vulnerable, the look in his eyes was sharp, forceful, and even possessive.
That look almost made Levi think that he was prey being targeted and torn apart, while Qin Chu, who was about to be tormented by her heat, was the calm and confident hunter.
Danger struck in an instant.
A jolt of electricity shot through Levy's back, and the hairs on the back of his neck stood on end.
What follows is an intense feeling of being moved.
The blue eyes have faded, leaving only a dark black dot in the pupil, representing the owner's barely suppressed excitement.
Levi got off the motorcycle and reached out to grab Qin Chu's wrist.
He regretted sending Qin Chu back.
"What are you doing?" Qin Chu asked.
The voice was cold and indifferent, with a slight hoarseness, as it passed through Levi's eardrums, causing a shiver to run down his spine.
"Want to go out and have some fun?" The alpha slowly leaned closer.
Qin Chu did not answer, but his dark eyes remained fixed on Levi, like a hawk eyeing its prey.
"Go ahead, I'll give you whatever you want." Levi lowered his voice, coaxing and patiently playing the role of prey.
Qin Chu tapped his toes on the ground as he pondered.
Subjectively, he did not resist.
Although he doesn't like this heat cycle, it's not a big deal when it actually comes.
After all, if a real fight breaks out, it's hard to say who will be the one who ends up dead.
but……
"Submit the manuscript," Qin Chu reminded him.
Levy: "..."
He thought Qin Chu was a truly amazing person.
Even at this point, he had nothing on his mind except Qin Chu, but Qin Chu still had the mind to think about submitting the manuscript.
"Then take a bite," Levy said, settling for second best.
He moved even closer, his breath brushing against Qin Chu's cheek.
Seeing that Qin Chu did not respond, he backed down again: "A kiss would be fine too."
Levy patiently explained, "It's a temporary marker, in case anything happens, you can come out..."
Before he could finish speaking, slender yet strong fingers had already grabbed his collar and pulled hard.
Levy was forced to bow his head.
Sharp eyebrows, a hint of red at the corners of her eyes, slightly pursed thin lips...
They were all right in front of him; he could easily touch them if he just got a little closer. But the hand gripping his collar not only forced him to lower his head but also prevented him from getting any closer.
Qin and Chu held the absolute initiative.
He lowered his eyelids to admire the person in front of him, from the curly hair to the high nose bridge, his gaze sweeping over the lighter blue eyes, and finally settling on Levi's lips.
Qin and Chu are getting closer.
His breath hit the corner of Levi's lips.
His heartbeat went out of control for a moment. The noisy voices in front of the dormitory faded away and disappeared, leaving only his erratic heartbeat and Qin Chu's breathing.
Levy was tempted.
He almost thought Qin Chu had already pounced on him, but the next second, the man just calmly looked at him and said, "If you really kiss him, you won't be leaving today."
Releasing Levi's collar, Qin Chu turned and calmly walked into the Omega dormitory.
Levy paused for a second before bursting into laughter in exasperation: "Who can't leave?"
Having been "seduce and then abandoned," Levi sat on his motorcycle and stopped for a while in front of the Omega dormitory before driving away.
Levy did not have a peaceful night.
If Qin Chu had left as soon as he got out of the car, that wouldn't have been a problem.
But that glance he gave him, and that final provocative remark, kept swirling in Levy's mind, keeping him awake all night.
He seemed to have truly become an alpha controlled by pheromones, even wandering around the Omega dormitory twice in the middle of the night, plotting how to find Qin Chu's dormitory.
Qin Chu returned to his dormitory, took a shower, and went straight to bed for a nap.
When he woke up the next morning, he looked at the back of his neck as usual and was surprised to find that the redness and swelling had subsided a bit.
I didn't feel anything else in my body. If there was anything else, the strangest thing was the journey back to base from the military academy.
This situation is a bit strange. Qin Chu has never experienced a heat cycle before, and he doesn't know if he has reached or hasn't reached it yet.
I called out Noah's name, but as expected, there was no response, only a notification that privacy mode was enabled.
Qin Chu thought for a moment, then opened the door and peeked out.
He reached out and grabbed a passing Omega, asking, "Am I in heat?"
Omega looked completely bewildered: "What???"
Seeing that he didn't respond, Qin Chu stopped another one.
Now they were both completely dumbfounded.
When asked a few more, the Omegas all said they had never seen such a bold heat cycle.
The Omegas told Qin Chu that he could book a doctor to come to his dorm for a consultation, and Qin Chu immediately submitted an application.
Qin Chu returned to his dormitory.
His personal computer vibrated, and he opened the message.
Levy: How is it?
Qin Chu replied, "Nothing happened."
After he replied to the message, Levi immediately made a call.
This time, Qin Chu didn't refuse and answered the call directly.
