Kapitel 232

"Let's kiss a little longer? Let's not, the manager is going to cry."

After answering a few more questions, a fan in the audience suddenly cut in line and shouted, "How many times a night do you do it!"

The room fell silent for a moment, then went into a frenzy, with everyone shouting the same question at the top of their lungs.

“Several times…” Levi’s blue eyes smiled as he turned closer to Qin Chu and asked, “May I answer?”

Qin Chu, unable to bear it any longer, snatched the microphone away: "I'm not answering. You're using a holographic projection now, do you want your account banned?"

Fans shouted again, "Those who dare not answer are below."

Qin Chu: "..."

Author's Note:

I'm so tired today, only a short update.

Chapter 127, The Sixth Story (11)

A while later, the two finished the fan meeting procedures.

Qin Chu originally wanted to take on this job, since he was now Anthony's identity.

However, the questions from these fans far exceeded Qin Chu's expectations. In the end, he simply resorted to ignoring them, adhering to the policy of not listening, not watching, and not answering throughout.

Even so, it didn't dampen the fans' strange enthusiasm.

The two returned backstage, and Levi turned around and saw that Qin Chu still maintained his cold and aloof expression.

"What's with that expression?" Levi couldn't help but laugh.

Qin Chu glanced at him: "You look like you want to report your fan meeting."

Levy lowered his head and smiled again.

"Okay, okay, I'll lie flat next time..." he said.

"Shut up," Qin Chu interrupted him, not believing him at all.

In this matter, whoever is shameless wins.

Qin Chu knew he could never be as thick-skinned as Levi in his lifetime, and he wasn't particularly obsessed with such things, otherwise they could have fought forever.

Before I had taken two steps, the agent's bewildered face appeared before me.

“You two…” He pointed at Levi, then at Qin Chu, and for a moment he really couldn’t tell which one was his artist.

“It’s not important. If you want, you can pretend there are two artists,” Levy said casually.

Upon hearing this, the agent's vision immediately went black.

One is enough of a headache for him, what if there are two... and if those two also act recklessly...

Seeing that the agent looked like he was about to faint, Qin Chu mercifully took Levi away.

He glanced at his agent again and asked, "Is there anything else?"

Seemingly surprised by his enthusiasm for his work, the agent paused for a moment before saying, "It's nothing else, but of course, if you'd like to take on some events..."

"No need, thank you," Qin Chu declined.

The agent looked bewildered: "You must be fake, you actually said thank you to me."

Qin Chu: "..."

Levi chuckled and leaned close to Qin Chu's ear, saying, "You used to laugh at me for being recognized by your subordinates, but now you're no different."

Qin Chu was speechless. How could those be the same?

If this guy hadn't changed his image and gone on stage, who would have doubted his identity?

But Qin Chu clearly remembered the unusual events he had encountered on the first warship.

Instead of immediately returning to the dressing room, he wandered around the backstage area of the fan meeting.

Levi trailed behind, fiddling with Qin Chu's personal terminal.

He also had a personal terminal on his wrist, but presumably because he had been dragged here by Qin Chu, this thing couldn't connect to the network of this world.

However, Qin Chu's is acceptable.

Qin Chu didn't know much about the work behind the scenes in the entertainment industry, so he would ask Levi for advice from time to time.

Perhaps because they both have Carmelo Anthony's face and had just announced their relationship, everyone backstage was staring at them.

When it came to serious business, Qin Chu reverted to his indifferent demeanor, as if saying, "Even if your eyes pop out, it's none of my business." Surrounded by staff, he insisted on touring the entire backstage area, even going to the restrooms.

Unfortunately, there was nothing gained, and the same sense of spatial detachment as on the first warship was not experienced.

Qin Chu turned to look at Levi, wanting to ask him if anything unexpected had happened after the meeting, but when he turned his head, he saw Levi staring intently at the virtual screen in front of him.

"...What are you looking at?" This was the first time Qin Chu had ever seen Levi so "addicted" to the internet.

Levy shared the screen with him.

Qin Chu glanced at it and saw the screen filled with "Ahhh!" He frowned and looked closely before realizing that these were fans' reactions to the fan meeting.

The screen was filled with screenshots of him and Levy, along with all sorts of comments about their passionate and intense relationship.

"Very interesting?" Qin Chu raised an eyebrow, somewhat amused.

“Of course.” Levi nodded, then, seeing some negative comments, shamelessly retorted.

Qin Chu glanced at him, reached out and moved the virtual screen away, and asked him, "Has anything unusual happened since this fan meeting?"

Levi paused for a moment, then laughed: "I've held so many fan meetings, how could I possibly remember every single one so clearly?"

“…Yes, a big star,” Qin Chu said.

The tone was a bit cold, and Levi immediately turned off the screen and looked at him: "You're not bad either. I remember General Qin is quite famous in our empire."

As he spoke, Levy directly searched for the name Qin Chu on his personal terminal.

Qin Chu was, after all, a member of the military, and information control was very strict.

But because of his face, even though the military routinely deletes information, a bunch of imperial citizens still tirelessly refresh the page with news related to Qin and Chu.

This was the first time Levy had ever searched for information related to Qin and Chu, and he couldn't help but become interested.

He swiped around on the search page a couple of times, then clicked on one of the results to take a look.

As soon as he clicked in, he immediately saw a profile picture of Qin Chu.

Presumably, because the photo was taken in Qin Chu's casual clothes, it wasn't taken down. A simple shirt and trousers; although the candid photo is blurry, it can't hide the cool, aloof aura emanating from the person in the picture.

Levi's lips curled into a smile. Even though he knew it was just a virtual world, he couldn't help but reach out and save the photo.

But soon, he stopped laughing.

Because the photo also had a caption: "Let me introduce my boyfriend. He's super handsome, and I heard he's also really good at fighting!"

Someone immediately replied: "Pah! I heard he's pretty good at fighting? You need to hear about your boyfriend? Don't believe this poster, he stole my boyfriend's picture."

"Wake up, you two upstairs! This is clearly my husband. We've already had twins, a boy and a girl, and they both have the surname Qin."

Levy's face had long since fallen, bubbling with sourness.

He shoved the screen right in front of Qin Chu: "Look, you still blame me for creating scandals with other people, but now you and other people have probably had several kids!"

Qin Chu: "..."

He had heard about these comments online before. Even within the military, people often joked that, excluding the smaller alliances outside, the number of men and women, even humanoid races, within their empire who wanted to have children with Qin Chu could circle the outermost star systems if they held hands.

But now that her boyfriend has pointed it out, the scene is truly a bit chaotic.

"...You believe everything they say?" Qin Chu defended himself.

"Oh yeah, you believe everything they say?" Levy also started to look for the truth.

After a few seconds of staring at each other, Qin Chu was the first to give in.

He sighed and reached out to ruffle Levi's hair: "Are you really unhappy?"

“It’s fake.” Levi took his hand down and squeezed it in his own. “After all, they can only say it online. Only I know what it looks like when you cried.”

The slight pang of heartache that had just surfaced in Qin Chu vanished in an instant, and the veins on his forehead bulged out again.

“I wasn’t crying,” he emphasized.

“Hmm.” Levi nodded readily. “He just couldn’t stand it and whimpered a couple of times.”

Qin Chu: "..."

I want to punch someone!

After going around in circles, the two finally returned to the lounge.

After closing the door, Levi smiled at Qin Chu and obediently got down to business: "It's not quite the same as it was on the warship before."

Qin Chu had no choice but to retract his foot, which was about to kick out, and nodded: "Mm."

“Is it related to choice?” Levy said.

Previously, on the first warship, they clearly encountered a scenario that required a choice.

A space pirate escapes, and Levi needs to choose whether to pursue him. If he makes a choice different from reality, the surrounding space will suddenly freeze.

Qin Chu kept this in mind, so he took precautions to prevent similar situations from occurring at the fan meeting.

Levy performed impressively on stage, while Anthony did virtually nothing, yet he didn't exhibit the same spatial detachment as on the warship.

“Let’s sort this out.” Levy sat down on the sofa and patted the person next to him.

Qin Chu didn't sit down, but leaned back on the sofa, frowning in thought: "If we follow the situation on the warship, then we need to make a choice that suits our status. There's only one choice, and if we choose wrong, there's no immediate danger, so we'll have another chance to choose."

“Yes, and… we’re not bound together, but the mainframe hasn’t forcibly separated us,” Levy said.

The two exchanged a glance, somewhat puzzled by the mastermind's purpose.

The world has progressed to this point, and although the process is somewhat strange, no danger has been detected.

At most, it was just that he and Qin Chu were not in the same scene, but Qin Chu eventually pulled him out again with a communication.

However, even after spending so much time in this world, they still haven't actually discovered the existence of the mainframe.
