Kapitel 436

He stood quietly in the mirror watching Zhou Liye run, but remained motionless, facing him directly.

On the bedroom door, the peephole was rotating on its own; upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a human eye embedded in the door.

"Crunch crunch."

The bedroom door slowly opened a crack, revealing an unfathomable darkness inside.

But Zhou Liye was crying and running away, and her blurry, tear-filled eyes didn't see any of this.

He ran to the very end and, with a loud bang, bumped his head against the door.

Completely bewildered, Zhou Liye scratched his head and instinctively opened the door and went inside.

The pure white room is no longer pure white; a rag doll is squatting in the corner.

The rag doll didn't move; it just had two black button eyes staring at Zhou Liye.

Zhou Liye was stunned by the impact. After staring at the doll for a while, she decisively opened the door and went out again.

The sixth corridor.

The entire room was no longer made of normal materials; the ceiling and walls had turned into something like wriggling skin.

That wasn't normal skin; it looked more like the aftermath of a severe burn, with blood flowing everywhere and pustules throbbing and swelling.

Stepping on it, a sticky texture and a fishy, foul odor rush over you.

The phone was no longer ringing with cries for help; only a chilling "creaking" sound remained.

That was the helpless, dying sound emanating from a person's chest after their trachea had been severed.

The figure in the mirror grinned widely, laughing at Zhou Liye.

As Zhou Liye ran over, footsteps sounded behind him again.

The sound of footsteps was so dense that he had lost count of how many people were chasing him.

But what's most terrifying is that these footsteps are getting faster! They're already at race pace, and they're accelerating, as if they're about to sprint towards Zhou Liye!

Zhou Liye was so stunned that she even forgot to cry!

He only knew that it was a fleeting glimpse as he passed by; he saw a crack in the bedroom door, and the crack was densely packed with eyes!

All those restless eyes were fixed on Zhou Liye's figure as he ran past.

When the last door was opened again, the pure white room had turned deep red.

The rag doll was standing at the door.

As soon as Zhou Liye opened the door, he accidentally stepped on it.

The doll let out a very realistic cry: "Waaaaah, Daddy!"

Zhou Liye let out an even more realistic cry: "I'm sorry, I'm sorry! You're my dad! Daddy, waaaaaah!"

Rag doll: "..."

The seventh corridor.

The corridor has completely lost its original structure and has become a very long passageway.

There is no light.

Everything depended on a small chest lamp; wherever that tiny beam of light shone, a terrifying sight appeared.

The walls were embedded with countless enormous eyes, which were constantly turning and emitting terrifying water sounds.

The surrounding flesh seemed to be constantly pressing inward, and bloody hands appeared on the floor, reaching up hopelessly as if trying to grab Zhou Liye.

Completely bewildered, Zhou Liye didn't notice any of these details and simply ran over, stepping on his hands.

The mirror is no longer a mirror; only a frame remains.

Zhou Liye's shadow crawled out from inside, a pitch-black figure seemingly enveloped in thick blood.

He made a squeaking sound, as if his trachea had been severed, and slowly crawled toward Zhou Liye.

More hurried footsteps came from behind, almost as fast as Zhou Liye's running speed.

Zhou Liye didn't have time to think, or rather, he had lost the ability to think, and immediately took off running!

The faster he ran, the faster his heart beat, and the stench of blood kept filling his nostrils.

His limbs were numb, his face was so numb that he had lost all sensation, and the images in front of him were flashing intermittently—a sign that his body was under excessive tension.

This passageway seemed endless.

Zhou Liye was both nervous and terrified, and her physical strength was being depleted at an alarming rate; she was on the verge of fainting.

But the footsteps behind him were still chasing him, and his survival instinct gave him a last bit of strength!

We're almost there...

We're about to be caught up...

"Bang!"

Zhou Liye lunged forward and smashed open the last door.
