Chapter 1

===Chapter 1===

An alternate plane.

Ma Xiaoniu, 32 years old, from Huimian County, Dragon Kingdom, is one of countless ordinary people in Dragon Kingdom. He is a teacher, with a mundane job and an uneventful life.

Ma Xiaoniu has a quiet and easygoing personality; in today's terms, he's a typical homebody. However, Ma Xiaoniu harbors a very chuunibyou (delusional) dream: to be a chivalrous knight-errant who fights for justice and eliminates evil, and a knight-errant who appears and disappears without a trace. Of course, this chuunibyou dream can only remain a figment of his imagination.

System Name: Demon System Mission: Cultivate demons and destroy the world. System Usage: The bound user must draw one ability from the Demon Roulette daily and use that ability to complete a system-assigned task. Completion will grant a random reward; failure will result in a random penalty.

What the heck? A demon system? Missions? Ma Xiaoniu instantly snapped out of his daze and understood what was going on. It turned out he'd acquired a system, just like in those online novels. This in itself was a great thing, but the ultimate goal of this demon system was to destroy the world? And he had to do missions every day? Given the nature of this system, the so-called missions were probably going to involve him doing some evil deeds.

Impossible! Even if his profession is teaching, his personality wouldn't allow him to do anything wrong! His dream is to fight crime and uphold justice! Could this be any more outrageous?

"The Demon System has started its timer. If the bound user does not take action within two minutes, the system will automatically extract information and impose a penalty."
