Chapter 3

"You're a child who always knows what you want to do, which is what worries me. You're very smart, and your ideas are always different from others. Coupled with family factors, you had to grow up quickly. You're too precocious and often hide your true feelings." Gossva shook her head and sighed.

"You know, I don't need parents, all I want now is 'my' child!" All she could think about was her "child".

Seeing how easily and naturally she spoke, Gao Siwa couldn't help but ask seriously again, "Shan'er, are you sure you want to do this?"

"Of course." Shan'er stretched and leaned back on the comfortable bed. "Don't think I'm scared, I'm not scared at all..."

"What's there to be afraid of?" Gao Siwa asked shrewdly.

Shan'er's eyes flashed, and her cheeks flushed crimson. "I..."

"Little girls will grow up eventually, won't they?" Koseva said meaningfully.

Shan'er buried her face in the sheets shyly, protesting, "I'm not afraid..."

"Don't worry! I'll help you ease the pain of your first time." Goswa was once a witch in an indigenous tribe and knew some wonderful medical skills.

"Oh—" A long groan escaped her lips; Shan'er was utterly embarrassed. "Sigh, that's secondary. The most important thing is, I don't know how to seduce him, how to get him into bed!"

"It's not difficult," Gao Siwa reassured her calmly. "No matter how upright a man is, he will still have moments of passion and lust. When he encounters a beautiful woman and is fueled by alcohol, things become simple."

"Beauty? Alcohol?" Shan'er looked up and asked, "Will he like me?"

Despite being a highly intelligent genius girl, Shan'er is completely inexperienced in matters of love, and interpersonal relationships are arguably her weakest area.

"Don't worry, even heroes have difficulty resisting the charms of a beautiful woman. If you're still worried, I'll give you a prescription..." Upon hearing Gao Siwa's words, Shan'er's eyes immediately lit up.

Really? She's going to have her own child...

Kim Sun-ah has long, flowing hair, a beautiful face with bright, large eyes, a straight, delicate nose, and rosy lips. She exudes a cool and refreshing aura, and her slender figure is perfectly proportioned. She is the dream girl that men yearn to have their way with!

But what's reflected in the mirror right now is—

A glamorous, alluring, mature, and sexy woman. With heavy makeup, wavy curls, a short skirt that tightly hugs her round, pert buttocks, and long boots that show off her alluring long legs... Shan'er stares intently at herself in the mirror, utterly incredulous that she could actually transform herself into a completely different person just by dressing up and putting on makeup.

Today, she decided to follow Zhang Boxuan alone, waiting for the right moment to strike and approach him when he was completely off guard. It shouldn't be difficult; she had met him before, and he was a kind boy who wouldn't refuse anyone.

She only had one day; she was determined to get everything done today!

The Royal Botanic Gardens boasts a charming North Shore promenade, perfect for strolling, enjoying the sea views, and exercising. Walking along the North Shore coastline, you'll pass by vibrant rose gardens, an open-air theater, and more. However, the garden is quite large, and walking the entire length might be a bit strenuous. Zhang Boyuan simply lay down on the grass to rest for a while.

The vast, clear blue sky was breathtaking, and a cool breeze blew gently, playing hide-and-seek with the leaves. One by one, red, green, and yellow leaves drifted down to the ground.

Huh? Where did it go? Whoosh! The leaf seemed to have turned into a cute little bird and flew into the sky! He put aside logic and reason, relaxed for a while, and let the wings of his imagination carry him along with the leaf that had transformed into a little bird, soaring in the beautiful sky.

Then, his gaze involuntarily drifted to the faint shadow hidden among the lush foliage.

When she met his gaze, Shan'er was startled. Had he already discovered her whereabouts? But he quickly looked away, as if he didn't care much.

Two hours, three hours, four hours passed. The sun slowly sank below the horizon, its afterglow reflecting on the sea. A flock of seagulls took flight from the seawall, several children ran around happily, and a Black man on the seawall played the saxophone. Everyone listened quietly to the melodious music.

Seeing that he was still lying leisurely on the grass, showing no intention of leaving, Shan'er's patience reached its limit. It was getting dark, and she didn't have much time left. She had to act!

As soon as Shan'er approached, Zhang Boxuan immediately opened his eyes in alarm, only to see a graceful girl staring at him from directly above.

The girl was wearing sunglasses that covered most of her face, and her slightly heavy makeup made it difficult for him to see her true appearance, but there was no doubt that she was a beauty.

Zhang Boxuan had seen many beautiful girls, so he naturally wouldn't lose his composure because of this. What interested him was the girl's cold and aloof temperament, but under his probing gaze, the girl quickly revealed a sweet smile.

That smile was too sweet; it didn't suit the girl's image.

"You..." He instinctively sat up halfway.

"I'm sorry, I've been secretly watching you for a long time..." Her smile held a hint of naivety. "As soon as I saw your smile, I was so captivated that I stayed right there and didn't want to leave." She spoke shyly, but she sat down beside him with an air of nonchalance, bending down to pick up fallen leaves from the ground.

"I..." Faced with the beautiful girl's direct praise, Zhang Boxuan was somewhat flattered, but he felt that there was something wrong with this girl; she was not simple.

Her cold demeanor combined with a sweet smile, and her seasoned yet awkward manner, created a paradox that piqued Zhang Boxuan's interest.

"You came all alone?" Shan'er was a little embarrassed; she wasn't used to flirting with men.

"Hmm." He stared intently at her, trying to see what kind of face was hidden beneath the heavy makeup.

"Me too." Shan'er, flustered by his gaze, quickly forced a charming smile. "Shall we take a walk together?"

Shan'er stood up first, then took his hand and they strolled along the embankment.

"What's your name?" Zhang Boxuan wanted to know more about her.

Shan'er didn't notice what he said. She had already run into the flock of seagulls ahead, startling a large group of them into flight. Seeing this, she let out a joyful laugh. Zhang Boxuan, also caught up in the childlike excitement, joined in. The two chased after the low-flying seagulls, running all the way into the acacia forest beside them. The acacia flower petals fell one after another, as if shaking off the longings of the world. They listened in the sea of yellow flowers, as if they could hear the sound of them falling. The two looked at each other and smiled.

After a while, they walked out of the Botanic Garden, passed the Sydney Opera House, and found a seat at the open-air bar in Sydney Harbour, where they looked out at the ships coming and going at Circular Quay.

Zhang Boxuan's curiosity and affection for this mysterious girl grew stronger. They chatted about all sorts of things, but never about each other's backgrounds. Shan'er would always change the subject when they got close to the topic.

Just then, a little white girl came over with a Polaroid camera and offered to take their picture. One photo cost one Australian dollar. Shan'er thought for a moment, then nodded in agreement. The little girl immediately raised her camera and snapped a picture of them together. The boy and girl in the picture looked like a perfect couple.

Shan'er paid first and put the photo into her bag.

This was the only record of their time together, and a self-deprecating cold expression inadvertently appeared on Shan'er's face.

Zhang Boxuan had to admit that he was truly captivated by this girl! Everything about her was like a mystery, yet so alluring—an involuntary, almost addictive feeling. He took the "Maitai" cocktail Shan'er handed him; its vibrant, tropical color seduced Zhang Boxuan's rationality. He took a large sip from the elegantly curved glass, immediately tasting its smooth, sweet flavor. Unable to resist, he took a second, a third… As the cocktail slowly emptied, his mind began to wander. He seemed to hear Shan'er whisper something in his ear, then get up to leave. In his panic, he grabbed her hand and followed her, in a daze, to a place he didn't know. He didn't know where he was, but judging from the sensation beneath him, he was lying on a bed, the ceiling light spinning.

"It's so hot!" He was sweating profusely.

The inexplicable dizziness intensified, and his mind went blank. He felt as if his body was being tightly coiled by a giant python, starting from his neck, moving to his chest and abdomen, and gradually spreading to his limbs. Instantly, his body became numb and stiff.

He couldn't think; he felt his head swelling and his body being squeezed. Breathing became increasingly difficult, and his senses became hypersensitive. He wanted... he wanted to release!
