Scarlet Rain Overwhelms the City - Chapter 103

Chapter 103

On a quiet night, I finally began to seriously write the story of "Scarlet Rain Over the City," but I couldn't fully express the regrets in my heart. Even though I was alone, I never forgot my true feelings.

In November, the weather was already quite cold.

One night, while I was working hard to finish "Scarlet Rain Over the City," I accidentally spilled a freshly brewed cup of Pu'er tea onto the keyboard, ruining it completely. There was nothing I could do but go to a computer repair shop to replace it with a new one. When I took the old keyboard off, I felt a pang of sadness. This keyboard, which had accompanied me through so many nights and helped me type out so many stories, had finally retired.

I placed it in the most prominent place on the bookshelf, to be treasured for a lifetime; it is my most special friend!

I am a sentimental person, just like I refuse to get a new notebook and still hold onto my old one.

So when I'm in a new place, I always think back to all the things that happened before. I am still me, but the people who are with me are not them.

People always have to part ways!

Drifting from north to south, I've traveled to many cities, but this old laptop has always been with me. Yet, I remain the same: in the quiet of the night, I brew a cup of Pu'er tea and, under the soft glow of the desk lamp, endlessly tap on the keyboard, weaving one dream after another in my heart!

Outside the window, there is a bright moon.
