Capítulo 63

After all the toasts were finished, Fangzi was almost collapsing, walking a little unsteadily. He put his arm around her neck and said, "Lanlan, take me to the restroom."

This was the first time he had called her Lanlan. The simple two syllables, pressed under the back of his tongue, made her heart flutter.

The two of them dragged each other to the restroom, but the floor was packed, so they had to take the elevator to another floor. She saw him to the door and thought she had accomplished her mission, so she tried to leave, but he dragged her inside, pushed her into a stall, and locked the door.

"What are you doing?" Xiang Lan stared at Fang Zidu, whose face was flushed.

Fangzi didn't say anything, but placed his hands on either side of her head, pulling her into his arms, his wet eyes fixed on her.

"Let me out—" she whispered.

"I won't let go." He was dazed, but his mind was clear. "Stay with me for a while, you can't run away."

I don't want to see you right now.

"I just wanted to spend some time with you, but you kept ignoring me," he said, sounding aggrieved, his eyes red.

Xiang Lan bit her lip, "You're still feeling wronged? I feel even more wronged than you."

"Then come and settle the score with me."

"That's too good for you."

"I'll listen to whatever you say."

“Liar, you never listen to me. My little darling—” Xiang Lan couldn’t finish her sentence, “Anyway, you’re a scoundrel.”

"I know everything." Fang Zidu's throat tightened a little, and he took a deep breath. "This time, I was wrong."

"This time?" Xiang Lan's eyes widened. "There will be many more times in the future."

"There will never be another one." He said fiercely, "You and Xiaorourou are more important than me."

Xiang Lan wanted to spit at him, but before she could even get into position, he lowered his head and bit her lips, the taste of wine filling her mouth. She struggled, and he released her, whispering in her ear, "Stop it, someone's coming in."

Xiang Lan dared not move. Sure enough, she heard the sound of the bathroom door next door being pushed open, and a woman struggling to be dragged in. The woman's voice sounded familiar, like Milan. She felt she had been saved and tried to make a sound, but Fang Zidu immediately covered her mouth with his hand, his lower body pressed tightly against hers. She could feel him very sensitively.

She opened her mouth and bit his palm tightly, trying to make him let go, but he didn't let go, letting her body hurt.

"Liu Nanyang, are you crazy? My sister cheated on you, and you're taking it out on me?" Milan's voice was laced with sarcasm.

Xiang Lan stopped struggling immediately and listened quietly, letting Fang Zi laugh softly in her ear.

"You've always known about this, so you've been using your eyes to seduce me? Now I'm doing as you wish—" Liu Nanyang's voice was neither angry nor as nonchalant as usual; it was very serious and earnest.

Xiang Lan was immediately ashamed. She didn't want to hear about her uncle's romantic escapades at all, and anxiously pinched Fang Zidu. He understood, cleared his throat, and coughed twice forcefully. Sure enough, the next room immediately quieted down, and a moment later, the sound of people leaving could be heard.

She pushed Fang Zidu away. He looked at her with a wronged expression. She said, "Fang Zidu, I've made up my mind. I want to divorce you—" She paused, and seeing the light in his eyes gradually disappear, she finally said those two words, "—divorce!"

The moment the word "divorce" was uttered, both of them breathed a sigh of relief. Xiang Lan felt that she had finally said it, while Fang Zidu felt that they could finally start communicating normally.

Author's Note: My little angels, you're all too biased towards Zidu! He hasn't even apologized yet, and you're already considering forgiving him. Even those who are obsessed with good looks should have some principles!

Chapter 66

The moment the word "divorce" was uttered, both of them breathed a sigh of relief. Xiang Lan felt that she had finally said it, while Fang Zidu felt that they could finally start communicating normally again.

"I want a divorce." Xiang Lan's expression was very firm.

"You don't love me anymore?" Fangzi wasn't in a hurry; instead, she remained calm.

She stared at him, speechless, and unwilling to say anything against her conscience.

"I love you, I love you and Little Meatball—"

Xiang Lan was a little dazed; it seemed like the first time she had clearly heard the word "love" from his mouth.

"What's the use of love? You can just throw it away anytime."

"I swear."

"I don't believe you anymore." Xiang Lan pushed him away. "You're drunk. Let's talk when you're sober."

"The New Year is almost here," Fang Zi said, holding his breath. "My sister-in-law is about to give birth, and you—"

Xiang Lan discovered that Fang Zi had become despicable, not much different from Xiang Yuan.

"I know, let's talk formally after the New Year."

Fang Zi breathed a sigh of relief after securing a suspended sentence. He reached out and touched Xiang Lan's face, kissed her again, and, reluctant to let go, continued to kiss her.

"That's enough, let me out, this is the restroom."

How could he possibly leave the prescription? Taking advantage of his drunkenness, he slipped his hand inside her clothes, caressing the soft flesh of her waist, slowly climbing upwards. He liked the faint milky scent on her body, and he also liked her current angry and resentful expression, because it made her eyes shine, instead of being as still as water as before.

Xiang Lan's body went limp from his touch. It had been over forty days since she was due to give birth, and more than three months since their last time in bed. Young people, strong bodies—it was truly remarkable that they could endure so long, especially considering their previously harmonious sex life. Fueled by his touch, she felt a mixture of self-loathing and resentment towards him. She ripped off his belt, pulled down his zipper, and slipped her hand inside. She decided to swallow the sweet coating and spit out the bullet.

Fang Zi obediently pushed her onto the toilet, pulled down her pants, and tried to undress her, but she refused, so he gave up. Xiang Lan gritted her teeth and sat down with her back to him, trembling. He was being far too honest. She patted his thigh, "You come here—"

He held her waist with both hands, slowly rising and falling. The sultry, confined environment suppressed the fire within him; only that one spot burned. He panted, his nostrils filled with the smell of alcohol, but the sweet, milky scent of her body made him unable to control himself. One hand reached up and pulled off her nursing bra from inside her clothes, grasping it in his other hand.

"Hurry up!" Xiang Lan was extremely anxious. "Don't dawdle!"

"I need to savor it."

It was hot beneath her, the object embedded in her body was burning and hard, her whole body itching and screaming, and he actually wanted to savor it? Xiang Lan was furious. She braced herself with her feet, increasing her speed, searching for angles and sensitive spots, determined to finish quickly. Sure enough, she soon found the right spot. She let out a small cry, afraid of being discovered, and forcefully pulled his hand out of her clothes, stuffing it into her mouth and biting it.

Silent yet eager, they vented their resentment and dissatisfaction through physical entanglement until the moment of climax, when the whole world turned colorful.

After finishing, Xiang Lan silently pulled out a roll of toilet paper to wipe her body, pulled up her pants, and saw that he was still sitting on the toilet catching his breath, his face flushed and his eyes sparkling. She secretly resented that this person was truly blessed by heaven, and no matter what, he didn't look ugly.

"Don't think that things are over just because we've gone this far. I still want a divorce."

Fang Zidu was panting slightly. He got up, straightened himself, helped her straighten her clothes, and said, "I know."

Xiang Lan slapped his hand away and whispered, "Check if anyone's outside. I'm going out."

He smiled, shifted his body, opened the door, and peeked out. "Nobody's here."

Without a second thought, she was about to step out when she heard a man's voice, which startled her so much that she quickly ducked back inside, feeling guilty.

After waiting a while, the person left, and she pushed him out, saying, "Let's take another look."

Fangzi found it amusing and teased, "There really is no one left."

Xiang Lan was half-believing, half-doubting, but when she pushed open the door, she saw a male figure flash by. At that moment, she realized that this man was teasing her. Furious, she grabbed his clothes and rubbed them, then bit his hand until it bled.

Fangzi just smiled, but when it really hurt, she said, "Okay, I'll take you out."

He took off his oversized coat and draped it over her shoulders, then embraced her and discreetly led her out of the bathroom. Sure enough, no one paid any attention. As soon as they came out of the bathroom, she immediately perked up, threw off his coat, and rushed downstairs. She must have exercised too hard earlier; her breasts felt heavy and sore, and she needed to find some relief with her little flesh.

She tried to sneak off to find her two mothers, but was gently nagged by Liu Zewen, who said, "Where did you go? You didn't even take your phone. Our little darling is hungry and has been crying for a long time."

Xiang Lan felt guilty, her face flushed, and she dared not speak. She secretly regretted not checking her body in the mirror earlier to see if he had left any marks. She took the little one into her arms; the baby was already extremely anxious, crying loudly with his mouth open and his little fists clenched tightly. She hid in the mother-and-baby room in the bathroom to breastfeed. The baby sucked very hard and swallowed very forcefully. The warmth of her father's hands still lingered on her chest, making her extremely ashamed. She dared not let him see her current body; her stomach was covered with three layers of fat, and although her breasts were full and firm, her whole body looked swollen, which she herself found disgusting.

After feeding the little one, she carried her out, only to find that Fang Zidu had already been kidnapped by Shen Chuan and his gang, pinned to a chair and prevented from leaving, with two bottles of liquor slapped in front of him. She was startled. Fang's mother came over and said, "I'll hold the little one for you. You should go and help him out of this predicament. He can't tolerate alcohol."

Xiang Lan had no choice but to go over. From two or three meters away, she could smell the alcohol, which was pungent.

Shen Chuan roared relentlessly, "What? Everyone at the table witnessed it! They said they came specifically to drink with me, but before the banquet was even over, they ran away. What kind of behavior is that?"

Fangzi blushed and couldn't speak. He couldn't very well tell people that he'd run off to do errands with his wife halfway through the day—

Fang Jun'er egged him on, opened a bottle of baijiu, found a large wine glass, filled it to the brim, placed it in front of him, and said with a smile, "Drink up, three cups as an apology."

Xiang Lan squeezed in, terrified. Although she wanted a divorce, she didn't want him to die; she still needed to pressure him to earn more money for their little one. So she asked, "Brother Jun, what are you doing?"

"Oh, the young wife has come to help."

Fang Zi tried to stand up, but Shen Chuan pressed down on his shoulder, "Running away in the face of battle, are you even a man? Drink up—"

Seeing the mocking expressions on the faces of the men, Xiang Lan knew they had planned to teach him a lesson today. She said, "You've gotten him drunk. Who's going to take care of Little Rou Rou tonight? Jun-ge, why don't you take Rou Rou home and raise him now?"

"Don't interrupt when a man is talking." Shen Chuan, a self-proclaimed chauvinist, picked up his large wine glass, downed it in one gulp as a sign of respect, and said, "I'll go first, so the little girl won't make a fuss."

Fang Zi had no choice but to pick up the cup and say, "Three cups like this won't do, one cup is fine."

"Let's have one cup first."

Fang Zidu stood up, mimicking Shen Chuan's action, and downed the drink in one gulp. Fang Jun shouted "Good!" and immediately started pouring more wine. Fang Zidu reached out to stop him, his fingers and the back of his hand bearing several fresh teeth marks, quite conspicuous.

"What's this?" Fang Jun, with his sharp eyes, grabbed his hand and wouldn't let go. "Who bit it? It's still fresh—"

"What were you two doing, sneaking off to do that halfway through the day?" Shen Chuan blurted out, a strange smile on his face. "Let me see, let me see."

Fang Zi quickly withdrew his hand and tucked it into his sleeve. "Brother Chuan, let's drink."

"What would you like to drink? Tell me, where did you all run off to?"

Seeing that his face was already confused, Xiang Lan was afraid that he would say something wrong, so she said, "That was my Rou Rou who bit him."

Has your succulent grown teeth yet?

The lie was ruthlessly exposed, and a group of people burst into laughter.

Xiang Lan was pushed aside, and the lewd mess between the men sprayed out in batches, making her both ashamed and angry. Even the prescription didn't work; she forced herself to drink three large cups, her face turning pale, and she couldn't take it anymore. Only then did Fang Jun let her go to the bathroom to induce vomiting.

She wanted to follow, but Shen Chuan pulled her back and made her sit down next to Fang Jun, with several pairs of eyes staring at her.

"What are you going to do?"

"I heard from your brother that your birth of Xiao Rou Rou was a bit unexpected, and you and Fang Zi had a falling out?" Shen Chuan went straight to the point.

Xiang Yuan is such a chatterbox, such a gossip.

"Should we get a divorce?" Fang Jun's eyes were so tender they could melt.

"How about we just get a divorce?" Shen Chuan took out a cigarette and lit it. "This bookworm is boring. He never takes you out to have fun. We haven't seen each other for the past six months."

Xiang Lan felt extremely guilty. "Why are you meddling in other people's business?"

"How is this meddling?" Shen Chuan protested. "If you want a divorce, you either marry me or Jun'er. We'll definitely treat Rou Rou like our own child. Tell me, who do you choose?"

What are you going to do?

"You used to be a little girl, and I was afraid of scaring you to death. Now you're all grown up, so you won't be scared anymore. Just give me a straight answer—"

"I've always treated you like older brothers since you were little." Xiang Lan refused to budge. What a joke! Even if she were to divorce Fang Zidu, she'd find someone obedient and beautiful. Fang Jun and Shen Chuan might be considered beautiful, but they were anything but obedient. One was a hopeless case of male chauvinism, and the other was even more meticulous than her.

“My lover is still a brother, so I won’t say anything more. Look how Fang Jun treats you, he’s no worse than that Fang Zi, right?” Shen Chuan took a deep drag on his cigarette. “You should make a decision quickly, otherwise, when the new year comes, Jun’er’s family will be setting him up on blind dates.”

"Oh, so you don't really like me after all? You want to coax me into being your shield? Do you think I'm stupid?"
