Capítulo 101

That was a bit ambiguous, considering he had just said that he only wanted to drink Gu Yunzhou's blood.

Gu Yunzhou paused, his deep black eyes fixed on Ji Zhaoming.

Ji Zhaoming tilted his head, his tone drawn out in a coquettish manner: "What are you looking at?"

Gu Yunzhou chuckled: "Why do you look like a newborn vampire? No, even newborn vampires inherit some memories."

Ji Zhaoming looks too clean.

Gu Yunzhou even felt that it wouldn't matter if Ji Zhaoming took a puff.

Thinking of this, he stopped what he was doing and glanced behind him.

It was quiet outside the door.

Gu Yunzhou's ears twitched slightly as he listened quietly to the sounds coming from inside the castle.

Because Ji Zhaoming had awakened, the vampires in the castle dared not speak loudly, which made it easy for Gu Yunzhou to pinpoint Gu He's location.

It sounds like they're still preparing food.

That's right. No one expected that after the vampire prince woke up, what he wanted to eat most was ordinary human food. And since the vampires wanted to give the king the best of everything in the world, they naturally had to prepare it perfectly before serving it.

Gu Yunzhou touched the bandage on his wound. Blood Hunters have strong regenerative abilities, but it was probably because the boy in front of him had used his vampire teeth to grind the wound. Even if he hadn't managed to make the wound bigger, he had still injected a lot of energy. After a day, the wound hadn't fully healed.

Gu Yunzhou sighed deeply in his heart.

never mind.

Gu Yunzhou removed the bandage from his wound, and the sweet smell of blood instantly made Ji Zhaoming stare intently.

Gu Yunzhou placed his finger in front of Ji Zhaoming and gestured: "Only one point is allowed."

We can't let the vampire prince be deprived of sunlight, can we? If word gets out, he'll be bullied by other vampires.

Ji Zhaoming's eyes narrowed into a straight line. He could no longer control himself and flew into Gu Yunzhou's arms. Without any obstruction, he easily touched the wound with his teeth.

Gu Yunzhou tilted his head, wrapped one arm around Ji Zhaoming's waist, and leaned closer to himself so that Ji Zhaoming could better inhale.

He seemed like a blood slave willingly sacrificing his life, stroking the hair of the person in his arms, lowering his eyes, and trying to suppress his inner rage.

He was a blood hunter, but not a good one.

Gu Yunzhou bit his lip and let out a suppressed "hmm" in his throat.

<A Little Picky>

Blood flowed down his sharp teeth into his mouth, and the savagery of the vampire surged from Ji Zhaoming's heart. He gripped Gu Yunzhou's shoulders tightly, increasing his pressure, trying to tear the wound open.

Unfortunately, just as Gu Yunzhou said, it looked like a cub that had just hatched from its shell, and there was no way to widen the wound.

Gu Yunzhou leaned back against the wall, pinning Ji Zhaoming firmly between his legs, covered his eyes with his hands, and sighed heavily.

This made him feel guilty.

Gu Yunzhou stroked the back of Ji Zhaoming's neck, thinking: So weak, I wonder how he survived before. Could it be that there was someone like him who specially fed this vampire?

Thinking of this, Gu Yunzhou increased the force, as if asserting his sovereignty.

His teeth kept rubbing against his neck, causing an itchy, tingling sensation that stirred up strange thoughts in one's mind.

No wonder most blood slaves eventually become willing participants.

As the feeling of fullness grew stronger, Ji Zhaoming's rationality gradually returned. He stopped what he was doing, retracted his teeth, and closed his eyes contentedly.

Feeling his abilities slowly returning, Ji Zhaoming said, "Um... thank you."

The energy contained in the blood of a Blood Hunter is incomparable to that of an ordinary Blood Slave. With just this small sip, Ji Zhaoming instantly recovered 20-30% of his energy. No wonder Blood Hunters are so powerful and their mission is to capture vampires; so many vampires still take the risk to try and bring one back.

Gu He had certainly thought about it, but since his king had not yet awakened, and with the mindset of not causing trouble for the king, the castle only housed the most ordinary blood slaves.

Gu Yunzhou infiltrated the clan under a false identity because he wanted to investigate the matter of the vampire prince. The vampires never expected someone to be so bold as to run directly into their headquarters, which led to the mishap.

Gu Yunzhou heard that Gu He downstairs seemed to have prepared the food, so he went upstairs.

Ji Zhaoming naturally heard the footsteps as well. Even though they were very light and almost inaudible, Ji Zhaoming's ears could detect any movement in the air, so he could naturally judge Gu He's direction from them.

He still had his hands on Gu Yunzhou's chest, twitched his ears, and tried to get up.

"How does it taste?" Gu Yunzhou asked, placing his hand on his knee.

Distracted like this, Ji Zhaoming completely returned to what he originally wanted to do. Recalling the taste, Ji Zhaoming nodded slightly.

Gu Yunzhou chuckled softly, "He's quite the picky one."

Gu He's footsteps grew closer and closer until they reached the doorway.

Ji Zhaoming finally realized what he was trying to do. He was about to get up, supporting himself on Gu Yunzhou's chest, when the hands around his waist pulled him back into Gu Yunzhou's arms.

Ji Zhaoming: ? ? ?

What just happened?

The door opened, and Gu He entered first, followed by a vampire carrying various dishes. However, before he could even step inside, Gu He fell into complete silence upon seeing the scene before him.

He could still smell the lingering stench of blood in the air.

What's going on with this Blood Hunter?

For reasons unknown, Gu He slammed the door shut, blocking the vampires' view behind him, and strode up to the two of them, coldly staring at Gu Yunzhou: "What are you doing? What do you intend to do to the King?!"

Gu Yunzhou then let go of her hand. "I think you're too slow. Besides, what are you angry about?"

It's perfectly normal for a vampire prince to drink blood. Gu He didn't know what he was angry about; just seeing the two of them together made him furious.

Could it be that I'm the villain in the book who breaks up a couple?

"Pah, pah, pah," Gu He cursed himself inwardly. "What kind of love couple is this?"

Gu He snorted coldly: "I'm just afraid you're not clean."

He glanced at the hand still resting on Ji Zhaoming's waist: "Your Majesty, if you are not hungry, I will have the people outside leave."

Reminded by Gu He, Ji Zhaoming immediately remembered that there were still vampires standing outside. He quickly climbed out of Gu Yunzhou's arms. Fortunately, Gu Yunzhou did not stop him this time, and Ji Zhaoming successfully walked to Gu He's side and touched his stomach.

Even though his energy hadn't fully recovered, Ji Zhaoming could still feel hungry, though much better than before. He wasn't about to faint from hunger. He nodded and asked, "Are there curtains installed everywhere in the castle?"

"Does the King want to sunbathe?" Gu He said knowingly, with a smile in his voice. "The King really likes the sun. There are no curtains on the far right. If the King wants to sunbathe, he can go there anytime. Just don't go out rashly. The sun outside is too strong. The King's abilities have not fully recovered yet. If he goes out, he will get burned."

He had actually been burned.

However, Ji Zhaoming couldn't say this to Gu He. He nodded while sitting in his seat and then asked, "Does everyone sleep in that place?"

He pointed to the coffin on the ground.

No matter what, every time I wake up and find myself in a coffin, the scene is just too eerie.

Gu He nodded first, then suddenly remembered something and shook his head to explain, "Not really. Vampires like cold and damp places, so they sometimes want to change their mood. But if Your Majesty wants to sleep in a bed like humans, we can arrange that."

If a vampire has a regular blood slave, they will always want to stay with the blood slave and may even want to learn the way the blood slave rests.

Vampires are different from humans; if a vampire sleeps for two or three days, the king will probably feel uncomfortable.

Gu He did not stop him there, but said, "However, Your Majesty will probably have to wait a few days. Your Majesty's bed—that coffin—can restore your abilities. Your Majesty has just awakened and needs to wait until your abilities stabilize before you can move to another place."

Ji Zhaoming nodded.

Gu He opened the door and let the vampires place the food on the table one by one before asking them to take their leave.

Ji Zhaoming asked, "Gu He, have you eaten?"

After Gu He woke up, he ate a little something and then heard a commotion outside. He then discovered that Wang Su had woken up, so he didn't have time to eat.

However, in front of the king, he naturally said, "I have eaten, thank you for your concern, Your Majesty."

Ji Zhaoming turned to look at Gu Yunzhou and asked, "And you?"

Although the Blood Hunter was still human, his ability to survive had greatly improved after awakening. He could survive for five days without food or water. Moreover, the vampires did not have the habit of abusing their slaves. Every meal was prepared on time. Gu Yunzhou had just eaten a meal before he escaped.

Gu Yunzhou naturally sat down next to Ji Zhaoming: "Not yet."

"You didn't eat?" Gu He mocked. "I wonder who ate the most today."

Even after being exposed, Gu Yunzhou could still laugh. He deliberately touched his wound and said, "I did eat, but I'm hungry again. After all, I've used up a lot of energy."

Ji Zhaoming immediately realized that it was due to physical exhaustion.

Since the blood of a blood slave contains a lot of energy, it's normal to feel tired after it's been drained.

The culprit turned out to be myself.

Ji Zhaoming touched the tip of his nose, a little guilty, and pushed a bowl of rice in front of Gu Yunzhou: "It's...it's normal."

Seeing that his Wang was about to serve him food, Gu He quickly squeezed between the two of them and said, "Now that you mention it, I'm hungry too."

Knowing that his master meant well and wouldn't say anything, Gu He simply sat down.

Having tried the sweetest cakes, these meals were rather boring, with very little energy. After finishing a meal, his physical strength only increased slightly. If it weren't for the vampire prince's exceptional sensitivity to the energy within his body, Ji Zhaoming wouldn't have even noticed it.

After finishing his meal, Ji Zhaoming felt a wave of sleepiness wash over him, his eyes drooping as he looked down until his body bumped against the chair behind him, at which point he suddenly woke up with a start.

Why does he want to sleep right after he finishes eating?

Gu He, who had been observing Ji Zhaoming closely, naturally noticed Ji Zhaoming's action and asked with a smile, "Is Your Majesty sleepy?"

"A little," Ji Zhaoming said somewhat embarrassed.

Gu He smiled and said, "You just absorbed so much energy, and your body hasn't fully digested it yet. It's normal for you to feel sleepy. Would you like to rest in bed for a while, or go to the sunroom?"

Even knowing that the coffin would benefit him, Ji Zhaoming was still not used to the cold and damp environment. "Let's go to the sunroom."

The sunroom was also located on the second floor. Even though Wang had been asleep for so long, it was cleaned every day. Considering that he was a vampire, the room was not in direct sunlight, and some parts were covered by curtains, leaving only a little light to shine in.

However, after spending so much time in the dark, even a sliver of sunlight was enough to cheer Ji Zhaoming up.

“Once Your Majesty’s abilities recover a bit more, we can take these curtains down,” Gu He said. “Is Your Majesty feeling alright right now?”

Ji Zhaoming shook his head.

Gu He felt relieved and clapped his hands. Someone behind him carried over Ji Zhaoming's coffin.

Ji Zhaoming: ...
