Chapitre 170

“Of course I’ll go.” Levy smiled and walked over.

There are hardly any people on the road leading to the studio now, only a cool breeze that feels pleasant on your face.

For a moment, no one spoke.

Suddenly, with a "thud," a rabbit plush toy rolled out.

The two were stunned, watching the doll roll around haphazardly down the slope. Even with Qin Chu's sharp eyesight, he couldn't immediately tell where it had come from.

He glanced at the box; although it was packed full, Levi walked steadily, as if he had jumped out from above.

"Is it what's in the box?" Levy asked.

"You're asking me?" Qin Chu was puzzled. "Ask whoever tricked you."

Levy clicked his tongue: "It looks like it to me."

As he spoke, he frowned, stretched out his arm, wiped it, and immediately cursed, "Damn it, the box is leaking!"

The case is solved.

The two immediately stopped their inspection.

The cardboard box must have been overfilled, causing the bottom to burst open. The rabbit had probably been blocking the opening, and finally couldn't hold on any longer, so it burst out.

Besides plush toys, there are also many ceramic items inside. If one falls, it will shatter into pieces, rendering the box completely unusable.

We've only gone halfway, and there's still so much to go.

In the end, the bag Qin Chu was holding came in handy.

Levi ran over, picked up the rabbit, dusted it off, and said regretfully, "Now it's a gray rabbit."

Qin Chu was moving the items from the box into a bag, his brows furrowing more and more as he looked at them.

When he took out a set of glasses, his expression had completely turned blank: "Why do you use sets for everything?"

“Because they have everything over there,” Levy said with a smile.

The box was so full of stuff that even the largest bag Qin Chu had bought was almost too big to fit everything.

Fearing the bag might burst, Qin Chu placed the plush toys on the bottom layer before putting on the fragile items, and then stuffed a few cuddly dolls on top.

The bag is about to burst open.

The two crossed the handles, each carrying one side, and each holding two small trinkets in their hands, before continuing their journey.

After passing a street lamp, the light dimmed.

The colored lights in the transparent bag compartment were still flashing, surrounding a bunch of delicate or cute little things, which looked quite nice.

The two grown men were carrying this thing, looking like they were selling things on the streets.

Levy kept his head down, staring at the bag in his hand.

He suddenly spoke up: "You actually believed me when I said I was giving it away?"

"...You've lost everything, how could I not believe you?" Qin Chu turned his head and squinted at him.

“I said it was all yours, so of course it’s all yours,” Levi said. “I couldn’t carry all that stuff back with all the people in the crowd. So I called some people to help me get it back to base.”

As he spoke, he glanced down at the bag again, his voice tinged with amusement: "Who would have thought you'd buy a bag, senior?"

"Who said the bag was bought for you?" Qin Chu firmly denied it.

Levi stopped and looked at him with a smile: "Oh, didn't I say it was for me?"

"..."

Qin Chu was furious and kicked him.

He kicked hard this time, but he forgot one thing.

He was also wearing slippers.

Then, a long parabola appeared as Qin Chu's slipper grazed Levi's leg, flew out, cleared the roadside railing, and landed right in the center of the basketball court.

It bounced twice after landing.

Qin Chu stared blankly at his bare feet, which weren't even wearing socks.

Levy also looked down at his feet.

Then there was a burst of laughter.

Levy laughed so hard he almost wanted to kneel on the ground.

Qin Chu was left with only one slipper, forcing him to stand on one leg, making movement difficult. He wanted to kick but couldn't, and he was carrying a bag, so he could only maintain an expression that suggested he wanted to kill the person.

The bag was almost falling to the ground.

Levy finally managed to say, "Don't move, I'll go get the shoes."

"Hurry up and go!"

After getting angry, Qin Chu also found the scene really ridiculous, so he could only reach out and snatch the handle that Levi was holding.

Levi laughed as he ran towards the slippers, picked them up, and waved them at Qin Chu.

"Throw it over here," Qin Chu shouted.

Levi, however, strolled back slowly like an old man taking a walk, making Qin Chu want to throw the bag in his face.

Unfortunately, Qin Chu was standing on one foot, carrying a huge bag in both hands, and had a doll tucked under his arm. He had to hop around like a rabbit to move even a little.

Levi had stopped laughing, but when he got closer and saw Qin Chu's appearance, he couldn't help but laugh again.

"That slipper flew so far, if you had kicked it hard, wouldn't I have been crippled?"

Levi bent down and put the slippers on the ground. Just as Qin Chu was about to put his foot in, he grabbed the slippers and pulled them back.

"...Are you asking for a beating?" Qin Chu almost kicked him in the face with his bare feet.

"I picked up these slippers, so we need to agree on this: you're not allowed to hit me after I put them on?" Levi looked up at Qin Chu.

"Okay, I promise I won't beat you up," Qin Chu said.

Levi then put down his shoes and ran away.

Qin Chu chased after them in his slippers, his slippers somehow exuding the aura of battle boots.

You promised you wouldn't hit me!

"Then why are you running away!"

Qin Chu chased after him for a couple of steps and then stopped: "Stop running, or the bag will tear!"

Levy then smiled and circled back.

He glanced down at Qin Chu's slippers: "If you keep running, the slippers will crack."

The two of them carefully carried the bags together for a while.

It's only a ten-minute walk from the dormitory to the teaching area, but when Qin Chu saw the gate of the teaching building, it felt like he had walked for an hour.

The lights in the teaching building were all off, and the two of them sneaked into the art studio like thieves.

Qin Chu looked at the bag of things with a troubled expression: "Where am I going to put all this?"

If we leave it unattended, the bag will probably be torn by tomorrow morning.

“There are some on the shelves, some with suction cups on them, so they can be attached to windows,” Levy said.

The two busied themselves taking things out of the bag, and Qin Chu took a second look at the snowman keychain.

This little thing was different from the others in the bag; it was clearly more heavily contaminated with Levi's pheromones.

Levi put his teacup on the table and peeked into Qin Chu's hand: "I didn't put this in my suitcase, I just put it in my pocket. I wanted to give it to you on the way, but you didn't say anything the whole way, so I was too embarrassed to take it out."

"You still have moments of embarrassment?" Qin Chu glanced at him and said, "Just say it's not okay to send it back."

Levy smiled but didn't say anything.

Of course it's possible, but how would I see Qin Chu's angry expression then?

How adorable!

After a busy period, when it was time to go back, the entire studio had changed dramatically.

Qin Chu stood at the door for a few seconds, feeling that it didn't resemble his own art studio.

It's like a children's room.

On the way back, Qin Chu couldn't help but ask, "Why did you make all this stuff? I don't even..."

Levy interrupted him: "Because you don't have it."

Qin Chu was taken aback and looked down at the snowman pendant hanging on his finger.

He certainly didn't have these things; in fact, he never had them.

So even if you wanted to like someone, there was no possibility of ever getting to know them.

Before Qin Chu's life, he had no chance to receive these things like other children. Other children either asked their parents for them or did nothing at all and were filled with gifts by adults.

At the very least, they could peer out of the glass window, admiring it with longing expressions.

But Qin Chu didn't even have the chance to appreciate or desire it.

His memories were filled with things related to survival: food, weapons, strength...

So now his hobbies are all related to similar things. He likes playing with guns and fiddling with the latest weapons, essentially because these things are all related to his survival.

If it weren't for survival needs, but purely for fun, Qin Chu didn't know if he would like these furry things.

Because of that peculiar goodnight wish, Qin Chu and Le Wei both successfully achieved the goal of "going to bed late" tonight.

Qin Chu knew he had returned quite late today, but he didn't expect that there was a curfew at this base.

The two stood in front of the tightly closed Omega dormitory door, staring at the dark glass door in silence for several seconds.

"Damn it," Levi cursed. "I didn't realize it was this late."

Qin Chu looked at him: "What's it like at your dorm?"

Levi hesitated, then said, "You...you can't exactly go and live in the alpha dorms, can you?"

"...I'm asking if you can still go back to the dorm!" Qin Chu repeated, frowning.
