ox!
That's fucking awesome!
Burke rubbed his head and said, "I forgot, these two can't be treated with ordinary instruments."
The covers of the two virtual training pods have popped open.
A group of people were gathered on the other side of the screen, making the area where the virtual pod was located seem much more spacious.
Levi took off his helmet, grabbed a handful of hair, and looked at Qin Chu on the other side.
"It's not enough," he said.
"What else do you want?" Qin Chu looked at him.
Levy smiled but didn't say anything.
The noise on the other side of the big screen made the quiet in this corner seem all the more precious.
The sky had completely darkened, and the overhead lights cast a dim, yellowish glow. Qin Chu, who had taken off his helmet, had a bit of sweat on his face, which shimmered warmly under the lights, dispelling much of his aloof and cold demeanor.
Levi's heart skipped a beat. He leaned out of the virtual pod and kissed Qin Chu on the cheek.
Qin Chu paused in his act of getting up.
After Levy finished his lewd act, he sat in the cabin for a while, stunned.
This seemed to be the most intimate gesture he had made since he and Qin Chu had actually met.
Even though they knew they had already done things more intimately, for some reason, they always restrained each other when they were together, afraid of crossing the line.
Until now.
Levi coughed lightly, offering a nonsensical explanation: "This scene seems familiar. Haven't I kissed you like this before?"
"...Yes." Qin Chu pinched the armrest in the virtual reality pod with his fingers.
Levi was somewhat surprised, not expecting Qin Chu to be so candid this time.
Qin Chu stood up from the virtual reality pod, looked at Levi and said, "Then I told you, it felt like being licked by a dog."
Levi cursed, looked up and saw that the man had teased him and then turned to leave, so he quickly got up and chased after him.
No one saw that not far behind them, Burke and the leader of the special team were frozen in place, hesitant to leave.
The two could not hear their specific conversation, but their actions were perfectly clear to the eye.
The squad leader, who had witnessed Qin Chu brutally beating up a suitor, was utterly incredulous: "Impossible! Is General Qin Chu really that easy to win over?"
There was even a hint of regret in his words, a sense of wanting to beat his chest and stamp his feet in remorse for not having tried it.
If they witnessed this scene, they would certainly be more than one person with the same feeling. Burke sighed at their naivety: "Ha, easy to catch? Do you really think you just caught up with them now? It's clearly an old flame meeting."
Look at how hot it gets!
There wasn't anything particularly passionate about it.
Levy has been unusually well-behaved these past two days, not even daring to climb through the window, for fear of accidentally provoking someone again.
After returning from training and having dinner, Levi went back to his room as usual.
But just before entering the room, Levy seemed to remember something and turned to walk towards a dormitory room next door.
He kicked the door open, and inside, several space pirates were playing cards. Judging from the situation on the table, the stakes were quite high.
The person inside saw the door being kicked open and turned to curse, but upon seeing it was Levi, he quickly waved: "Boss, wanna play a game?"
Levi raised an eyebrow, tapped the timetable on the wall, and reminded, "Lights out."
The bald man in the lead didn't understand Levy's meaning and chimed in, "Yeah! It's more fun to do it secretly!"
Seeing that things were not going well, Kamin quickly kicked the bald man.
Levi strolled leisurely to the poker table, picked up their chips, and examined them, his tone chilling: "Playing for high stakes, huh? What did I tell you during the day?"
Several people fell silent, trembling with fear.
Only the bald man whispered, "Isn't this the card game you said you wanted to play a few days ago..."
Kamin kicked him again.
The group looked at each other in bewilderment.
Actually, we didn't get together to play cards today, since we'd all get tired of it after a few days.
They were just there to discuss the boss's relationship status...
Levy's attitude toward General Qin actually puzzled Camin.
He was still stuck on the idea that Levi was causing trouble for Qin Chu because of the man in black robes, and he couldn't understand why their boss had suddenly fallen for someone else.
But if you say Levy is a scumbag, they won't believe it.
Although they look very similar, it's impossible for them to be such a scumbag who is so clean-living.
After much thought, it seems there's only one explanation.
That means their boss's current closeness to the military and Qin Chu is a conspiracy!
Someone couldn't help but ask directly: "Boss, what's the purpose of this operation? Are we going to betray them before entering the virtual world, or are we going to go all out once we're inside?"
Levi was taken aback, then laughed in exasperation, leaning over to pat the man on the shoulder.
The guy thought he'd hit the nail on the head and was smiling shyly when Levy slammed him onto the card table.
"You've had too much to drink, can't you understand what I said during the day? And you're turning against me?"
Everyone was startled. The bald man stammered, "Is it really cooperation? The military clearly needs manpower right now, so they're using us, and we're just going to go along with it?"
“Use?” Levi looked up at the bald man.
Kamin's intelligence kicked in immediately, and he retorted, "Pah! What do you mean by 'using'? General Qin and the boss are clearly in love!"
Levy glanced at him, then turned back to stare at the bald man.
Camin's heart skipped a beat, fearing that Levy might twist the bald man's head off in a fit of pique. That wouldn't just be baldness; it would be headless.
Damn it, even if you know you're being used, you can't just say it outright!
Levy is in the middle of a great time, and now that this has been exposed, even if it's the truth, he might not be able to accept it!
The space pirates inside were quite frightened.
The bald man is actually a hybrid of humanoid and human races, and is extremely tall, standing upright like a small mountain.
But now this little mountain has been lifted up by Levy, who is holding it by the neck.
"Use you?" Levy sneered.
Kamin closed his eyes, too afraid to look, and silently cried out in his heart, "Oh no, oh no!"
Just when everyone thought Levi was about to snap the bald man's neck in a fit of rage, they suddenly heard Levi sneer: "Even if Qin Chu is using me, he's using me. Me, understand? Don't fucking try to associate yourself with Qin Chu."
Kamin and the group of terrified space pirates: "..."
The bald man, whose neck was being squeezed: "..."
Why do I smell a hint of vinegar?
Is it wrong for someone to be so jealous?
Is this the kind of topic to discuss when you're already jealous?!
Having a boss who's obsessed with romance is so frustrating!
"Be at the training ground on time tomorrow. Do whatever Qin Chu tells you to do. If you cause any more trouble, you'll have to go back and feed me the Star Beasts." Levi released his hand, gave the instructions one last time, and then left.
The next day, Levy was pleased to see that the space pirates arrived on time.
He moved closer to Qin Chu, who was standing to the side, and sighed, "It must have been really difficult for me to manage this group of space pirates like this."
"..." This was the first time Qin Chu had ever seen such self-praise.
Knowing that the man had more to say, he followed up with, "So?"
"So you're not going to give me a reward?" Levi raised an eyebrow.
"What reward?" Qin Chu asked.
Levy started bringing up the grudges from last night: "I also want to experience what it feels like to be licked by a dog."
Qin Chu raised his chin and pointed in a certain direction of the base: "That's the military dog training base over there, you can go and give it a try."
Levy almost laughed out of exasperation: "You really don't understand?"
Just as he was about to say something more, an officer ran towards Qin Chu from not far away.
The officer, who had rushed over excitedly, paused strangely after seeing Qin Chu and Levi standing together, making sure the two hadn't done or said anything before running up to Qin Chu.
"Sir! The matter you mentioned you were investigating has yielded results. The relationship between Tan Wei and the administrator of the mainframe has been confirmed. This administrator of the mainframe is named Tan Shu, and he is Tan Wei's father. After the First Legion detonated the planet thirty years ago, Tan Shu was unable to accept the outcome and filed numerous appeals over the years."
The officer's face showed delight.
The spirits of Qin and Chu were also shaken.
The mastermind rebelled without reason, and evolved without reason as well. They had too little information to break through.
Now that we've uncovered this connection between Tan Wei and the First Legion, we've found a breakthrough, no matter what.
It's unclear whether this administrator instigated the mastermind's betrayal or whether the mastermind coerced the administrator.
After pondering for a moment, Qin Chu said to the officer, "I need to investigate some things today."
The officer, however, was not in favor: "Sir, our mission is about to begin. What if something happens to you..."
"I have to do this; the chances of anyone else getting hurt are much higher," Qin Chu said firmly. "Also, find a high-ranking cabinet official to come over, lock him up for a couple of days, and break down his psychological defenses."
At this point, Levy, who had been listening nearby, suddenly spoke up: "High-ranking cabinet officials were even detained for several days. Ask me for people like that."
Qin Chu turned to look at Le Wei, then suddenly realized: "Oh, your Crown Princess?"
The tone of his voice was a bit strange, which startled Levy.
The officer's expression became even stranger; he felt as if he had stopped listening to something he shouldn't have, so he saluted and walked away.
Levy almost laughed: "Didn't I tell you it wasn't?"
Qin Chu scoffed, not wanting to answer.
