"Is that so?" Sawada Tsunayoshi understood that Su Han didn't have a problem with him, and immediately breathed a sigh of relief.
“Mr. Speaker of the Council,” Conan said after a brief silence, suddenly raising his head to gaze at Su Han, “the world you showed me… is indeed very real. A lot of the information matches what I have in my mind… no! I should say that is the future.”
After a pause, Conan continued, "But the timeline of the world we live in... seems a little off?"
“That’s true!” Tony Stark’s eyes flickered as he recalled the plot of the Conan world, his voice tinged with doubt. “After so many springs, summers, autumns, and winters, so many deaths on Christmas and Valentine’s Day… even if Conan really did shrink, he should have advanced several grades by now, right?”
“You might as well experience this problem yourself,” Su Han said calmly. “Once you’ve experienced it, you’ll understand everything.”
Su Han appeared outwardly calm, but inwardly he was somewhat exasperated. Who was he supposed to ask? He'd had the same question when he first watched Detective Conan.
“I do have a few guesses about this,” Aizen said with a smile.
"What are your thoughts?" Tony Stark turned to look at Aizen.
He had to admit that while Aizen was a top-tier boss and an extremely dangerous figure, his intelligence was beyond imagination, not to mention his equally outstanding strength.
Even though Tony Stark entered the Training Moon and devoted himself to technological research for three years—a period of tremendous technological advancement—he still had no confidence whatsoever in dealing with Aizen.
The effects of the illusory nature of the illusion can be exempted by the mist space... but even if it's just the opponent's physical weakness, it's enough to dismantle the latest version of the Iron Man armor he created.
“The first possibility is that Conan’s world has peculiar laws, such as time loops or fixed cause and effect.” Aizen glanced at Su Han without making a sound. Many people in the council also noticed this glance.
"Is that so?" Ying Zheng's mind reeled as he realized something. Could it be that the time order in the Conan world is different from the normal world? And so, the council chairman, as an observer, deliberately brought in people from such a peculiar world...
Yes, that makes sense too, as the Speaker of Parliament is an observer... The logic makes sense!
"Gurararara, since you've mentioned the first one, there must be a second guess, right?" Whitebeard stared intently at Aizen.
“Indeed!” Aizen nodded frankly, his hands clasped over his stomach. “Another possibility is that Conan’s world is a world with infinite possibilities. That is to say, his world has different trajectories, and the Chairman extracted all the possibilities of his world and displayed them in that star!”
"What?"
What does this mean?
"...I can't understand anything! Is it because I haven't studied enough?"
Many people at the scene were dumbfounded. Tony Stark thought for a moment, then suddenly slapped his thigh, "Isn't what you're talking about the parallel universe theory?"
“Parallel worlds?” Aizen raised an eyebrow, thought for a moment, and then nodded in agreement. “That analogy is indeed very apt.”
"It's possible that the Speaker of the Council extracted everything Conan experienced from different timelines and different worlds and mixed it all together."
------------
Chapter 90 Tony Stark: The existence of the Men in Black is truly a miracle.
These words immediately created an extremely strange atmosphere. Their expressions became odd.
Not to mention the other council members, even Conan himself felt a chill run down his spine at this moment.
Whether his world is a perpetual time loop or contains countless parallel worlds... it all indicates that his world is far from simple. After all, no other storyline or planetary system has exhibited such anomalies.
"Although the world I live in doesn't seem to have any supernatural powers, whether it's the time factor, or Makoto Kyogoku, or Kaito Kid... all of these things are showing signs of abnormality. Plus, the plot points mentioned by the council president... I have to be more careful from now on!" Conan muttered, his expression very serious.
"At first, when I watched Detective Conan, I thought that if his life were a TV series, it would be the life of a detective? But later I realized that it's basically a disaster movie with lots of deaths," Tony Stark complained.
"I even suspect that if all the characters in it were put together, they could form a new Avengers... For example, Captain Amuro Tooru from Japan, the mad scientist Professor Agasa, the elusive Phantom Thief Kid, and you, Conan, who's practically a cheat code... able to kick a soccer ball and destroy a satellite. Something like that..."
Tony Stark suddenly felt a headache coming on and stared intently at Conan. You still think others are unscientific? Think about it carefully, are you scientifically sound or not?
When you criticize others for being unscientific, don't you feel any remorse?
Su Han's eyelids twitched. He suddenly remembered that when Tony Stark first joined the Council, he thought Tony Stark was very unscientific? Is this a case of fortunes changing?
Although this cycle will eventually turn to Conan... something just doesn't quite feel right...
Conan remained silent, completely unable to refute.
"But speaking of which, it seems that Conan's world doesn't have an ending? For example, the leader of the Black Organization hasn't been revealed." Huang Rong muttered, clearly somewhat dissatisfied.
"The pirate world I live in hasn't reached its final end either, has it?" Whitebeard said dismissively. "Don't forget the principle of equivalent exchange that the Chairman mentioned at the beginning."
"What?" After a brief moment of thought, Madara Uchiha suddenly realized. He glanced at Su Han and said, "The council chairman isn't interested in what happened next, so he didn't manifest it... Or do we need to pay an extra price to find out what happens next?"
Su Han remained silent, observing quietly. However, he inwardly breathed a sigh of relief.
Just as he had imagined, without him saying a word, the group below automatically filled in the blanks for his actions. He exclaimed from the bottom of his heart, "It's truly a lucky thing to have a group of council members who can fill in the blanks."
The discussion at the scene is still ongoing.
"I'm only curious about one thing," Ying Zheng said, tapping his fingers lightly on the back of his chair, "Is that Professor Agasa really the mastermind behind the Men in Black?"
“This kind of thing…it’s impossible no matter how you look at it!” Conan was the first to vehemently object. “Professor Agasa, our family has had a long-standing relationship with them…of course, I’m not ruling him out based on our relationship.”
"I mean, although he's a scientist and not stupid... his ability to act is extremely poor. If he were the head of the Men in Black organization, the Men in Black would have been wiped out long ago. How could he possibly have accomplished something so massive?"
"Shouldn't they be extinct?"
Tony Stark stared at Conan with a strange expression. "A strange organization where every member is either a traitor or an undercover agent? I even suspect... if the countries in your world recalled their undercover agents, the Men in Black would disband on the spot."
Conan was speechless again, his face turning bright red. Even with his intelligence and desperate thinking, he couldn't find a rebuttal. It could only be said that Tony Stark's question was far too insightful.
"Actually, I think that the main villain in Sawada Tsunayoshi's world... Byakuran, seems to have quite a few things in common with Aizen," Kuchiki Rukia suddenly said. She subtly changed the subject.
The atmosphere at the scene suddenly froze.
After a brief silence, Aizen laughed. "They are indeed somewhat similar! But... more than similarities, the differences between us are greater. Perhaps our behaviors are somewhat similar, but our ultimate goals are completely different."
“Indeed!” Even Madara Uchiha, who disliked Aizen, thought about it and agreed with Aizen’s words. He pointed to the series of plot stars in the air and said, “Even after seeing many worlds... it would be hard to find a second person who can compare with Aizen.”
