Глава 54

"You're despicable!" She glared at him hatefully, her face full of contempt.

"I'll show you what despicable is today. You filthy bastard, you were defending him the other day, look at your fate, it's no better than mine! Today, let's have a good laugh, since we're both in the same boat."

"You madman, let go! No!" Song Qing was in despair; she was at a disadvantage in terms of strength. He was so barbaric, so unreasonable. As her outer clothes were being torn off, she kicked her legs incessantly in resistance.

A group of henchmen nearby answered a phone call, their faces filled with panic. The others exchanged glances, nodded, and then swarmed out.

"Hmph, a bunch of cowards!" Xu Kai glanced at them disdainfully, then looked down at Song Qing's pitiful appearance, her face streaked with tears and pleading. He felt a surge of refreshment and immense satisfaction. With a rip, he tore open Song Qing's soft, delicate white shirt, revealing her smooth, white bra, and pounced on her, biting and nibbling at her breasts.

Song Qing let out a desperate scream, her legs twisting weakly as she tried to escape his hand that was pulling at her skirt.

"You beast!"

When Bill and Yi Zhengwei stormed into the abandoned repair shop, they were met with this appalling scene. Bill roared, a sharp pain shooting through him, and grabbed Xu Kai, giving him a brutal beating.

Yi Zhengwei, his face dark, took off his suit jacket and wrapped the trembling Song Qing in it. He picked Song Qing up and turned to Bill, saying, "Keep her alive." He gestured for Bill not to hold back. Bill paused only briefly, then his blows grew heavier with each strike. Xu Kai's screams and pleas for mercy couldn't quell his rage. He regretted it, he felt heartache, he wanted to kill himself. He never imagined that Xu Kai would cause Song Qing such harm! That beast!

Song Qing tightened her grip on Yi Zhengwei's suit jacket, remaining silent for a long time. When she finally realized she had escaped the control of that devil, her tears flowed even more fiercely.

"It's alright now, we definitely won't let that guy get away with this!" Yi Zhengwei gritted his teeth.

"How is Dad? How is Fuhua?" She wiped away her tears and looked up to ask.

Her originally delicate face was now horribly covered with bright red finger marks, and it was slightly swollen. There were marks around her mouth and eyes. Yi Zhengwei couldn't help but hug her tightly and comfort her, "It's okay, you'll be fine when you get back."

She gave a relieved smile and said, "I knew you would come to save me. Call Bill over. Killing someone like that won't do any good."

"It's alright, otherwise he might be unwilling to accept it." Yi Zhengwei had already carried her into the carriage, trying to make her laugh, but only managed an awkward silence.

The car drove onto a smooth road, bathed in bright sunshine. Song Qing stared blankly at the scenery on both sides of the road, leaning back against the car. After a while, she slowly slid to the window, hugged herself tightly, and rested.

Yi Zhengwei tried his best to drive smoothly. His hands, gripping the steering wheel, were white at the edges, his anger rising from his heart. If Bill hadn't rushed ahead and he hadn't had to quickly shield her, he would have definitely gone up and punched her a few more times. Xu Kai was definitely an unexpected surprise they had anticipated.

They drove in silence until they entered the Yi residence. Song Qing glanced at Yi Zhengwei, who nodded at her. She remained silent, pursing her lips. He opened the car door, intending to help her out, but she shook her head, slowly and unsteadily getting out of the car, insisting on walking herself. Yi Zhengwei locked the car door, then caught up with her and led the way. Upon reaching the second floor, Yi Zhengwei hesitated for a moment before leading her to the innermost bedroom.

"Please wash these clothes. There are some clothes in the closet, but they're not new. Just make do with them for now."

After saying that, he considerately closed the door.

He crossed his arms, leaned against the door, and stared at the ceiling of the corridor until he heard the sound of running water. Only then did he turn around and go downstairs.

"Bill, yes, he's with me."

"Don't worry, she's very strong. Yes, she needs to sort things out; there are still many things to deal with."

"Not for now. You handle the media situation. Don't let a single word of what happened today leak out."

"Don't worry! This shouldn't have happened in the first place!" Bill hung up the phone angrily. He was determined to make Xu Kai pay!

Song Qing wished she could tear off all her skin and flesh. Looking at her body covered in red, she quickly rinsed off and then wrapped herself in a bath towel before leaving the house.

Barefoot on the cold floor, silently, she opened the closet door and took out a few items from the dazzling array of clothes. She looked at them but shook her head; they were all too old-fashioned. The owner of these clothes was tall and slender, almost the same size as herself, and the sizes all fit her perfectly, and they were all made of the finest fabrics with first-class workmanship.

She chose a black and purple suit, a long top and trousers, with a European-style turtleneck shirt underneath. Fortunately, the style of the clothes chosen by the owner was quite traditional, which coincided with her own preferences. If the owner were the same age as her, they would definitely get along well.

However, there's nothing that can be done about the scars on his face; it may take several days for them to fade.

She wore thick slippers, walked around upstairs but didn't see Yi Zhengwei, so she went downstairs.

As soon as she stepped off the stairs, she saw Yi Mantian and Yi Zhengwei sitting together.

"Zinan!" Yi Mantian exclaimed in surprise as he looked up. Yi Zhengwei coughed, wiped his eyes, and gave Song Qing an apologetic smile.

"Are you done?" Yi Zhengwei asked with concern as he stood up.

Song Qingchao bowed to Yi Mantian, then smiled and nodded to Yi Zhengwei.

"Aunt Zhou!" Yi Zhengwei called out, turning his head.

"Coming, coming! I found a pair of Madam's shoes. Take a look, do they fit?" The woman called Aunt Zhou replied, coming out of the small room next to the stairs, carrying a shoebox, and squatting down neatly.

Yi Zhengwei helped Song Qing sit down and gestured for her to put on her shoes.

She refused Aunt Zhou's offer to help her change and changed herself. Under the strange looks of the family, she stood up, took a few steps, and turned back to nod at them.

Yi Zhengwei's eyes flickered. He said goodbye to Yi Mantian and then saw Song Qing out.

"He really looks like Zi Nan." Yi Mantian sighed as he looked at Song Qing's back. This was Zi Nan's favorite outfit when she was alive.

"Yes, they even wear the same shoes," Aunt Zhou chimed in.

As soon as Song Qing stepped outside, the sudden light stung her eyes, and tears streamed down her face.

"The afternoon sun is very strong," she said.

"Don't worry, I'll always be by your side," Yi Zhengwei replied, looking at her with deep affection.

She looked into his eyes, and after a long while, she slowly grinned, a smile that was both grateful and tinged with melancholy.

Song Qing, we're always so alike, always leaving no room for imagination.

He sighed, "With added power, it's like a race car."
