Kapitel 194

"Brother Ning?" Shen Moyu called out tentatively again.

"Where are you?" Su Jinning asked decisively, her tone turning ten degrees colder before he could answer: "Are you with Zhou Xingqi?"

Shen Moyu knew perfectly well what was going on, and patiently explained what had happened to him. Su Jinning kept nodding in agreement, but didn't say anything else. Shen Moyu wasn't sure if he was really not angry, but seeing that the dishes were almost all served and Jiehe and the others were waiting for him, Shen Moyu casually gave a few instructions and hung up the phone.

The table was laden with dishes, and the atmosphere was very harmonious. Zhou Xingqi and Jiehe kept telling Shen Moyu about their funny experiences at school, complaining about their teachers and a few annoying classmates, and even saying they wanted to invite Shen Moyu to travel abroad.

Listening to their rambling, Shen Moyu smiled and agreed, occasionally chiming in. Zhou Xingqi, drunk, called him "brother," and seeing Zhou Xingqi's extremely happy expression, he couldn't help but laugh too. Oh well, he's just a kid after all.

Drinking was unavoidable at the dinner table. Shen Moyu hadn't intended to drink, but Jiehe had already raised his glass, so he had no choice. The liquor was really strong, several times stronger than regular liquor. He felt dizzy shortly after downing one glass.

Despite his young age, Jiehe had a high alcohol tolerance. We forced him to drink several glasses and kept offering him food. His enthusiasm was very much like that of a Northeasterner.

After drinking about four or five glasses, he realized he was drunk. He was helped into the car by Jiehe in a daze, and Zhou Xingqi also insisted on going with him, saying that she was worried about him.

He hadn't drunk much, but he felt dizzy and his mind was a little hazy, though he didn't feel like vomiting. Fortunately, he remembered the location of Su Jinning's house.

He definitely couldn't go home; Xia Wei would surely scold him to death if she saw him like this.

"Jehovah," Shen Moyu called out indistinctly.

Although Jeremiah wasn't drunk, he almost fell asleep in the passenger seat. He shook his head and looked at him: "What's wrong?"

"What kind of wine did you give me to drink? Only four or five cups, I feel like I..." He didn't want to say the second half, but his tongue was almost tied in knots and he couldn't get the words out.

"Ah..." Jerhe thought for a moment, "Vodka."

"Damn it..." Shen Moyu lowered his head.

He didn't know what time he arrived at Su Jinning's house, or how he got there. All he knew was that his head was throbbing with pain, and the bumpy journey made him feel nauseous.

The car stopped just as he was losing consciousness. He half-opened his eyes and looked out the window at the sky, which was now completely dark. Then the car door was quickly opened.

In the hazy night, Su Jinning, dressed in a thin nightgown, stood in front of the car door. She seemed to be overwhelmed by the smell of alcohol in the car and frowned slightly.

Shen Moyu felt extremely dizzy; her legs were shaking when she got out of the car.

"Why did you drink so much?" Su Jinning asked, supporting him.

Shen Moyu burped, and it would have been better if he hadn't. As soon as he burped, he felt terrible and vomited on the side of the road with a "whoosh".

Everything I tried so hard to hold back in the car has now come back to me.

"Brother!" Zhou Xingqi suddenly woke up and kept trying to get out of the car to check on Shen Moyu's condition.

"Hey, don't move around, watch your ankle!" Jiehe was also startled awake by Zhou Xingqi.

Zhou Xingqi got out of the car in a panic, and just as he was about to touch Shen Moyu's arm, he was suddenly pushed away by a force.

"Take your hand away." Su Jinning's tone was as cold as stagnant water. She held Shen Moyu's waist tightly with one arm and looked down at Zhou Xingqi.

Zhou Xingqi was stunned for a moment, then his usual anger erupted at the sight of his disdainful look: "Then who do you think you are? And what gives you the right to hug my brother?"

As he was saying this, he tried to rush up and snatch the person away, but Su Jinning forcefully grabbed his wrist and threw him into Jiehe's arms like trash.

"I'll say it again, get as far away as you can." His tone was rigid and indifferent, and he held one hand in front of Shen Moyu, like a lion ready to tear its enemy apart at any moment.

Jiehe steadied Zhou Xingqi, pulled him back a bit, and said bravely, "Hey bro, why are you fighting over nothing?"

Su Jinning sized up Jiehe, who had suddenly interrupted, as if scanning him for friend or foe, her gaze as cold as ice: "Keep an eye on him, he's really annoying."

After he finished speaking, he picked up Shen Moyu in his arms and carried her into the gate without looking back.

"Damn." Jiehe crossed his arms, staring at Su Jinning's back, and after a long while, he squeezed out, "So cool, isn't this forcing me to be gay...?"

"You motherfucker, Su Jinning!" Zhou Xingqi cursed indistinctly, his usual boy-next-door demeanor completely gone: "You're not human, you're a dog! Get your filthy hands off me!"

"Hey, hey, alright, alright, let's go, let's go." Jiehe kept stopping Zhou Xingqi, who was limping over.

Chapter 80 Identity

"Take off your clothes and go take a shower. I've boiled some water for you." Su Jinning reached out and helped him take off his coat, which reeked of alcohol, and tossed it onto the sofa.

"I'm dizzy, I don't want to wash." Shen Moyu, hearing his indifferent tone, nestled on the sofa, feeling wronged. He liked to throw tantrums when he was drunk; it was a habit he couldn't shake.

Su Jinning frowned, watching him pout and refuse to leave, then shrugged: "Fine, take it or leave it, go sleep in the guest room upstairs."

"Su Jinning, you idiot..." Shen Moyu wasn't fully conscious, but he still managed to curse without any hesitation. He didn't believe Su Jinning would dare ignore him, so he stood up, both angry and anxious, his face flushed as if he had just been pulled out of a pot, almost cooked through.

Su Jinning closed her eyes briefly, then patiently turned back to ask him, "Do you want to wash or not?"

Shen Moyu was silent for two seconds, then stated his terms with a matter of course: "A cold shower."

"Warm."

"I'm hot, I want it cold."

"If you try to bargain again, I'll stuff you into a vat of boiling oil."

"You son of a bitch..."

Su Jinning helped the unsteady Shen Moyu to the private bathroom in his bedroom. The water was already running and steaming.

"Take it off and lie down," Su Jinning said, pointing.

Shen Moyu wasn't stupid, even though he was drunk. He pointed at the steaming bathtub and said through gritted teeth, "You lied to me without thinking."

"Yes, I didn't hit him." Su Jinning admitted clearly, then dragged Shen Moyu into the bathroom. Even though he hit and scolded her, Su Jinning wouldn't let go.

"Let go! I don't want a hot shower, I'm so hot!" Shen Moyu grabbed Su Jinning's hand on his arm, trying his best to escape the sauna-like bathroom.
