Geister im Medizinstudium Horror-Akten - Kapitel 11
“Okay, here’s the thing. After a lot of investigation, Interpol discovered that the drugs in Southeast Asia and Europe are now being smuggled out through Hong Kong as a transit point. So my superiors assigned me to investigate this case. Since I’m not very familiar with the situation here, I need the help of the Hong Kong police.” Kuang Huashi seemed like a different person when she talked about work; she became very capable.
Liu Hai, true to his nature, launched into his forte: "Miss Kuang is shrewd and capable; I'm sure she'll solve this case soon. Then she'll be promoted. Tianyou, you're the best officer in our department; you must cooperate fully with Miss Kuang to solve this case."
"YES, sir." Kuang Tianyou gave Liu Hai a lot of face in front of outsiders. He wouldn't usually be so respectful to Liu Hai.
"There's one more thing I need to trouble you with, Mr. Liu. This is an absolutely confidential matter, so I can't stay in a hotel. I hope you can arrange a hostel for me," Kuang Huashi said after a slight hesitation.
“No problem, Kuang Tianyou. Didn’t you just rent a house and live with your son? How about this, let Miss Kuang stay with you for a while. This will make it easier for you to investigate the case. Also, don’t worry about anything at the police station during this time. Just fully cooperate with Miss Kuang’s investigation.” Finally, he asked Kuang Huashi. “Miss Kuang, do you think my arrangement is alright?”
"Okay, that's fine too."
"Then it's decided." Liu Hai felt proud of his cleverness, as he could avoid the trouble himself and still please Kuang Huashi.
Kuang Tianyou was also curious about the woman who looked so much like Ah Xiu, so he acquiesced to Liu Hai's decision. Afterwards, the two returned to Jiajia Building.
Thank you all for your support. I've benefited greatly from reading several comments online. I dedicate this chapter to expressing my gratitude. I believe you'll feel my change after reading this chapter. And guess what? This chapter is the prelude to a small climax! Guess who this Kuang Huashi is?
Want to know? Keep reading.
Can you vote for me again? I need to give you a heads-up: zombies are the main characters in this drug deal. Just imagine, immortal zombies as drug dealers—isn't that a novel concept? If you appreciate my hard work, please vote for me!

Chapter Eleven: The High Seas Wizard
Because Kuang Tianyou returned earlier than usual today, he didn't see Fusheng or Zhenzhen. However, the night watchman, Uncle Wang, was giving him a strange look. This was understandable; everyone living in Jiajia Building knew that Zhenzhen liked Kuang Tianyou, and Kuang Tianyou had never brought a woman home before, let alone a beautiful one.
“Miss Kuang, please have a seat. This is my home. After my son and Zhenzhen return in a little while, I’ll discuss with Zhenzhen whether you can stay at her place. That would be more convenient,” Kuang Tianyou said casually, handing Kuang Huashi a cup of tea.
"Mr. Kuang, I'm sorry to bother you," Kuang Huashi said apologetically.
"It's okay, Zhenzhen is a very kind person and loves making friends. You'll definitely get along with her."
"Zhenzhen is..." Kuang Huashi asked curiously. "Zhenzhen is the owner of Jiajia Building, which means she is my landlord. She is a very nice person and is also my son Fusheng's teacher."
"Oh, I understand," Kuang Huashi said, a look of understanding on her face. Kuang Tianyou knew she had misunderstood him and didn't explain further.
Afterwards, the two chatted for a few more minutes. Just then, they heard footsteps outside the door. "Tianyou, you're back." Wang Zhenzhen appeared at the door. Her beautiful eyes first swept over Kuang Tianyou, then settled on Kuang Huashi. She had been mysteriously stopped by Uncle Wang in the hall earlier. Uncle Wang had embellished the story of Kuang Tianyou bringing back a beautiful woman, saying that the two were chatting and laughing, their expressions ambiguous. Although Wang Zhenzhen believed that Kuang Tianyou wasn't a lecherous person, she still couldn't resist coming to see for herself. Think about it, which lover wouldn't be nervous about their boyfriend, especially when that woman was a "super beauty"—Kuang Huashi in Uncle Wang's eyes.
Kuang Huashi was also observing the woman named Zhenzhen in front of her. She was about 1.65 meters tall, with long hair flowing over her shoulders. She was very beautiful and delicate. The gold-rimmed glasses she wore added to her scholarly air. Based on her keen observation and judgment, she could determine that Wang Zhenzhen was a quiet and kind woman. At the same time, she also noticed a child behind Wan Zhenzhen, about seven or eight years old, chubby and very cute. His large eyes were exceptionally bright and intelligent; it was clear he was a clever little fellow.
When Fusheng first saw Kuang Huashi, just like Kuang Tianyou, he seemed to see Ah Xiu from sixty years ago. He opened his mouth and exclaimed, "Sister Xiu!" Then, realizing his mistake, he quickly shut his mouth. But the observant Kuang Huashi didn't miss this and secretly remembered it. "Little brother, you must be Fusheng. My name is Kuang Huashi, you can call me Sister Shi." Fusheng felt very close to the older sister in front of him, perhaps because she looked so much like Ah Xiu, and sweetly called out, "Sister Shi, you must be pretty." Only then did Kuang Tianyou have a chance to introduce the two, "Zhenzhen, this is my colleague Kuang Huashi, and this is my friend Wang Zhenzhen." The two shook hands and got to know each other. Kuang Tianyou continued, "Because Kuang Huashi has a mission, she's staying here temporarily for convenience. Don't you have an empty bed in your room? Do you think she could stay there? It's not very convenient for me."
Wang Zhenzhen readily agreed. She and Kuang Huashi quickly became acquainted. The two chatted together. Kuang Tianyou watched all this. Sigh, women…
Night fell on the high seas near Hong Kong. A cruise ship lay silently anchored. Except for one cabin in the hold, the entire ship was shrouded in darkness. In the lit cabin, five people watched as a man in black performed a ritual. If Kuang Huashi were here, she would immediately recognize one of the short, stout men with a sinister smile on his face as Zhao Hongfu, the notorious drug lord known as "Smiling Tiger," who was wanted by Interpol. The four men beside him, each with a menacing expression, stood guard warily beside him, weapons in hand.
The smiling tiger, with his usual hypocritical smile, asked the man in black who was performing the ritual, "Master, will your method work? Can you really control a dead person to go to the police station and retrieve the drugs that were confiscated from me a while ago?" The man in black looked up at the sound of his voice, a sinister glint in his triangular eyes. His smile revealed yellowed teeth, making his already ugly face even more repulsive. "Mr. Zhao, rest assured, my magic has never failed. Just do as I say and find people to come and meet them, and I will definitely return your goods to you."
