Geister im Medizinstudium Horror-Akten - Kapitel 18
Black and White Impermanence, relieved to have escaped, sat on the ground, panting heavily. Suddenly, Black Impermanence noticed White Impermanence staring intently ahead. Looking over, he saw White Impermanence's face turn deathly pale, and Kuang Tianyou stood before them. "You can't escape. You'd better take me to Kuang Huashi," Black Impermanence nudged White Impermanence. "I'll hold him off while you go get reinforcements from the Judge." He lunged at Kuang Tianyou. White Impermanence quickly seized the opportunity to run away. Kuang Tianyou easily subdued Black Impermanence, forcing him to lead the way to Kuang Huashi.
Left with no other choice, Black Impermanence had to comply. Before the gust of wind, "Quickly tell me how to get in!" Black Impermanence cried, "I don't know either, but Lord Yama once said, turn left three times." Just in case, Kuang Tianyou forced Black Impermanence to lead the way. Just then, a helicopter appeared in the sky, and a large group of people descended like a special police team. Finally, a middle-aged man with a black beard floated down from the air. Black Impermanence saw him as if he had seen a savior. "My lord, please save me!" the middle-aged man said sternly. "Who are you, daring to cause trouble in the Underworld and even injuring my men?" Kuang Tianyou looked at him. "I am not a demon. I only came to retrieve my granddaughter's soul." Black Impermanence, who had overheard this, feared Kuang Tianyou would expose him. He hurriedly said, "My lord, he relied on his powerful demonic magic to infiltrate the Underworld and even dared to boast that you should abdicate in his place, saying you were unfair and unworthy of the position." The junior officer, indignant, fought him. His magic was weak, and he humiliated him in every way. You can ask Bai Wuchang if you don't believe me.” Bai Wuchang nodded repeatedly in agreement. The middle-aged man, enraged, ignored Kuang Tianyou's explanation and waved his hand, summoning a group of his men. Kuang Tianyou continued fighting while explaining. After he finished explaining, he had also knocked the group of demons to the ground. Hei Wuchang then added fuel to the fire, “My lord, look how arrogant he is! Let's go find Yama to deal with him. You might not be his match.” These words deeply stung the middle-aged man.
"You're indeed powerful, but with your meager skills, you're not worthy to roam the Underworld." With that, he engaged Kuang Tianyou in combat. As expected of a judge, his skills far surpassed those of the Black and White Impermanence, and Kuang Tianyou couldn't gain the upper hand for the time being. However, the fight progressed with increasing ferocity, until Kuang Tianyou was on the offensive more than he could defend, and the judge was clearly struggling. The Black and White Impermanence exchanged a glance. They entered the Yin Wind Formation and captured Kuang Huashi.
"Kuang Tianyou, stop now. Do you want to watch her soul be scattered?" Kuang Tianyou stopped upon hearing this. He saw Kuang Huashi being held hostage by the Black and White Impermanence. Her beautiful face was haggard, and her spiritual energy was almost completely dissipated. "You despicable bastards. You're not even as good as animals." Black Impermanence grinned maliciously. "You'd better surrender now, or I'll beat her so badly she'll never be reincarnated." "Brother Kuang, don't believe him." Kuang Tianyou stretched out his hand. "Fine, if you dare to harm a single hair on her head, I'll make you regret it for the rest of your life." Black Impermanence took the demon-binding rope and bound Kuang Tianyou tightly inside and out. He came to the judge. "My lord, let's not alarm King Yama. If King Yama knows you're like this today, I'm afraid... Besides, we are all prominent figures in the underworld. If others find out about this, they'll spread rumors and cause trouble." The judge lowered his head and remained silent. Black Impermanence knew he was tempted. "Strike while the iron is hot," he said, handing the judge a card. "I have some savings here, look..." The judge smiled, his face stern. "Make sure it's done cleanly."
Black Impermanence walked up to Kuang Tianyou and kicked him in the face. "You bastard, you've made me lose face! Just watch how I deal with your granddaughter!" He grinned maliciously and walked towards Kuang Huashi. "You dare!" Black Impermanence laughed wildly. "What wouldn't I dare?" With a tearing sound, a large piece of Kuang Huashi's clothes was ripped off.
Thank you all for your support. Here's another chapter today.
And please don't scold me, okay? People read books because they're bored. My writing isn't good either, you don't have to read it, right? If you wrote a book yourself, you'd know how hard it is. Hey, I also have a job, and I'm very busy. I still need to eat, you know. How can I be happy if you keep scolding me? I don't write books to be scolded. You haven't given me a single penny, why should I listen to your scolding?
I hereby solemnly declare that I have successfully completed two chapters per week. If you find this slow, please read another book.

Chapter Twenty-Three: Nightmare of the Past
"You wretch, I'll show you the consequences of offending me! Brothers, everyone who sees this gets a share! Rape this brat!" The ghosts surged towards Kuang Huashi. Kuang Huashi screamed and struggled. Kuang Tianyou, seeing his granddaughter about to be violated by the evil ghosts, yet tightly bound by the demon-binding rope, was filled with anxiety and hatred, roaring furiously. It seemed that heaven and earth were also enraged; suddenly the sky changed dramatically, and the resentment and malevolence of the underworld converged, forming a large vortex in the sky, sucking Kuang Tianyou in.
The ghosts were startled by the sudden change and stopped moving in unison. Kuang Tianyou felt an extremely powerful energy flowing into his head. At first, it was just a small stream, but later it surged into his body like a great river. Suddenly, he became completely oblivious, everything vanished, and a huge surge of energy rushed from the top of his head through his chest, directly into all the meridians in his body. This energy was filled with intense resentment and malevolence. The boundless energy made him unwilling to be bound any longer. Without him exerting any effort, the demon-binding rope snapped inch by inch. Kuang Tianyou's eyes turned bloodshot, as if he were possessed by a demon god from legends, with only one thought in his mind: kill, kill, kill... kill all the ghosts in front of him.
The ghosts on the ground felt an immense suction force pulling them into the vortex, involuntarily disintegrating and being absorbed into Kuang Tianyou's body. Only the Black and White Impermanence and the Judge, with their higher cultivation, struggled desperately within the vortex. Just then, a chanting of Buddhist sutras rang out.
Shariputra, all dharmas are empty of inherent existence. They are neither produced nor destroyed, neither defiled nor pure, neither increasing nor decreasing. Therefore, in emptiness there is no form, no sensation, no perception, no volition, no consciousness, no eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, or mind, no form, sound, smell, taste, touch, or dharma, no eye-consciousness, and so forth, up to no mind-consciousness, no ignorance, and no cessation of ignorance, and so forth, up to no old age and death, and no cessation of old age and death, no suffering, no origination, no cessation, no path, no wisdom, and no attainment. Because there is nothing to be attained, Bodhisattvas, relying on Prajnaparamita, have no hindrance in their minds. Because there is no hindrance, they have no fear, are far removed from distorted views and dreams, and ultimately attain Nirvana. All Buddhas of the three times, relying on Prajnaparamita, attain Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi. Therefore, know that Prajnaparamita is the great divine mantra, the great bright mantra, the supreme mantra, the unequaled mantra, capable of removing all suffering, truly and without falsehood. Therefore, although the Prajnaparamita Mantra was not loud, it clearly reached Kuang Tianyou's ears. The chanting of Buddhist hymns resounded in the void, peacefully purifying all beings. The evil spirits in hell all prostrated themselves on the ground, listening to the sacred sound. However, to Kuang Tianyou, it was indescribably uncomfortable. He felt as if the sound were daggers piercing his mind, causing him excruciating headaches. Gradually, Kuang Tianyou calmed down and heard the Buddhist chants, which, like a sudden awakening, greatly reduced the resentment and anger in his heart. His eyes gradually returned to normal. The judge looked and saw that it was Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and the Ten Kings of Hell.
Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and the Ten Kings of Hell were chatting and drinking tea when they suddenly noticed an unusual gathering of resentment and malevolence in the underworld. Immediately afterward, the entire underworld seemed on the verge of collapse. Alarmed, they rushed out to investigate. Following the point of convergence of the resentment, they arrived at the location where Kuang Tianyou was possessed by demons. Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva chanted the Great Compassion Mantra, hoping to dispel his malevolence. Kuang Tianyou regained some of his senses. "Who are you people? Are you also going to oppose me?" he said, opening his mouth to reveal long, zombie-like fangs. The Ten Kings of Hell were startled, recalling events from long ago.
(There will be a special section at the end of this chapter explaining the Ten Kings of Hell; those interested can take a look.)
That was absolutely a hellish nightmare. Recalling the zombie king with long fangs—Jiang Chen—these lords of the underworld couldn't help but tremble with fear. Back then, Jiang Chen single-handedly turned the underworld upside down. Even the Ten Kings of Hell combined were no match for him. A million underworld soldiers were nothing but ants in Jiang Chen's eyes. He forced the Ten Kings of Hell to flee in all directions. If Jiang Chen hadn't ultimately refused to stay in the underworld, it would probably still be a chaotic mess. Although the zombie before them didn't resemble Jiang Chen in appearance, the kingly aura emanating from his very bones was exactly the same as Jiang Chen's. That was a deep-seated, unforgettable pain in the hearts of the Ten Kings of Hell. Since the existence of the underworld, only three gods had ever caused trouble. Compared to Sun Wukong and Mulian, Jiang Chen truly deserved to be called a demon; he brought eternal pain to the Ten Kings of Hell.
Upon seeing the Ten Kings of Hell and Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, the judge's courage surged. He knelt before them and embellished the story, believing he could now deal with Kuang Tianyou. However, looking up, he saw the Ten Kings of Hell and Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's expressions growing increasingly grave, and he was greatly surprised. The Fifth King of Hell was furious, while Black and White Impermanence were secretly pleased. Unexpectedly, the Fifth King of Hell shattered their dreams with a single sentence: "Guards! Bring Black and White Impermanence here!" The ghost soldiers swarmed forward and brought Black and White Impermanence forward.
King Qin Guang, puzzled by the Fifth King Yama's actions, asked, "What are you doing?" The Fifth King Yama whispered, "Have you forgotten what happened before? I smell his aura on this zombie. And it's very strong. I suspect this zombie has a direct connection to him. Do you want to provoke him again? This time, it will be difficult. Last time, Buddha used all his supernatural powers to resolve a huge problem. This time, even if we are in the right, we should give way to him. Besides, I have already checked the zombie's origins through the Three Lives Mirror. I found that his information is not within the Three Realms and Six Paths. Even Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva cannot know his origins. There is only information about him before he became a zombie. His ending is blank. Only Buddha and Laozi have this information. It seems he has a direct connection to the entire Three Realms. We have no choice but to go along with him and sacrifice a few little ghosts. Take it easy, brother." It's unbelievable that they are just like politicians in the mortal world, completely disregarding others for their own interests. Under such leadership, what good can Black and White Impermanence expect? Unable to endure the torture, they had no choice but to tell the truth.
It would have been better if he hadn't said anything, because saying it only made the Ten Kings of Hell and Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva even angrier. "You two, you've been causing trouble all along, and now you've really messed things up! Watch how I deal with you!" After dealing with the Black and White Impermanence, the Ten Kings of Hell and Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva fawned over Kuang Tianyou. Kuang Tianyou, not wanting to push his luck, knew when to stop. Even seeing Kuang Huashi so badly injured, he still couldn't let it go. Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, being old and shrewd, saw through his meaning. "It's alright, I have a elixir here. She'll be fine after taking it. Besides, we control her lifespan; she can live as long as she wants." "Yes, yes," the Ten Kings of Hell echoed. As long as this demon star could be sent away, anything was negotiable. Kuang Tianyou took the medicine and gave it to Kuang Huashi. As expected of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's treasure, Kuang Huashi's complexion improved quickly after taking it. Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, however, was heartbroken. "My elixir! That was a bet that Laozi lost to me!" Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva looked pained. Kuang Tianyou glanced at him and quickly put on a smiling face. He secretly thought: "Black and White Impermanence, you two, I'll make you suffer! If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have lost such a treasure. This is a top-tier treasure of the Heavenly Realm!" With just this thought, two people were destined to begin a thousand-year-long torment in hell. They were also the only two wandering souls in the Underworld to have spent a thousand years in the eighteen levels of hell.
After that, every successor to the position of Wuchang would receive the advice, "Never mess with anyone surnamed Kuang." This ensured that everyone with the surname Kuang received good treatment after death, something that Kuang Tianyou, the instigator, had never expected.
Kuang Tianyou brought Kuang Huashi back to the mortal world. Kuang Huashi saw how Kuang Tianyou had risked his life to save her in the underworld. She had long forgotten how Kuang Tianyou had gotten there and the fact that he was a zombie. She hugged Kuang Tianyou's neck, her heart filled with secret joy, and they returned to the mortal world together.

Yesterday's Yellow Flowers (Part 1)
Uncle Qiu was anxiously waiting in the room for Kuang Tianyou and Kuang Huashi to return. After all, they were in the underworld, and Uncle Qiu wanted to help but was powerless to do so.
Helpless, she could only concentrate and do her best to protect Tianyou. Although Sophie didn't quite understand what Kuang Tianyou was doing, she was loyal to him as his master and obediently protected him outside. Just then, the Tai Chi Yin Yang diagram silently opened, and Kuang Tianyou and Kuang Huashi returned to the human world from the underworld. As soon as Kuang Huashi's ghost appeared, it attached itself to her body and slowly woke up. Seeing that she was awake, Kuang Tianyou came to her side with concern and asked about her condition. Kuang Huashi felt as if she had just had a long sleep, and for a moment she couldn't distinguish between dream and reality. When she opened her eyes, she saw Kuang Tianyou's concerned face, and her heart was filled with sweetness. She remembered how Kuang Tianyou had protected her without hesitation in the underworld, and her heart had already secretly been tied to him.
This was the first time in her twenty-odd years that she had fallen for a man. Kuang Huashi's parents had both left her when she was young, and she had always lived with her grandmother. Later, by chance, she met her mentor, the head of Interpol's Asian branch, which began her life. For over a decade, she had grown up amidst arduous training and life-threatening missions. She hadn't met many people her age, and having grown up listening to her grandmother's stories about her grandfather, she was generally indifferent to ordinary men. Since meeting Kuang Tianyou, she had inexplicably developed feelings for him. Coupled with her recent extraordinary experiences, Kuang Huashi secretly fell in love with Kuang Tianyou. "Brother Kuang, am I dreaming?" Kuang Huashi looked at Kuang Tianyou with deep affection, almost unable to believe her eyes. Kuang Tianyou looked tenderly into Kuang Huashi's eyes and took her hand. "It's alright, everything is over." At this moment, Uncle Qiu and Su Fei also stepped forward. Upon seeing Su Fei, Kuang Huashi cried out anxiously, "Tianyou, be careful! There's another zombie!" Kuang Tianyou paused for a moment, then reacted. "Huashi, don't be afraid. She's one of us now." Kuang Huashi finally relaxed. Suddenly, she remembered that in the underworld, Kuang Tianyou had repeatedly said he was coming to save his granddaughter. Could it be that she… "Brother Kuang, I remember in the underworld, you said you were here to save your granddaughter." Kuang Huashi had a bad feeling. Kuang Tianyou looked at her, then at Uncle Qiu. The latter gestured for him to tell everything. Kuang Tianyou lowered his head. After a while, he raised it. "Huashi, now that things have come to this, I won't hide it from you anymore. I am your grandfather—Kuang Guohua." Although she had been mentally prepared, Kuang Huashi still couldn't accept this fact. Her already pale face drained of all color, becoming as white as a sheet of paper. Kuang Tianyou glanced at her and continued.
