Kapitel 246

Yi Xin nodded and said proudly, "Mr. Fu, rest assured, as long as we can confirm that he is a vengeful ghost, I will certainly not let him escape. However, in this way, the original owner's soul has already been eroded, and I'm afraid he will be plagued by illness and will only be able to spend the rest of his life in a sickbed."

Upon hearing this, Fu Cheng became even more excited and quickly asked, "But without his birth date and time, what other way do you have to determine his problem?"

Yixin said, "If I could see him in person, or read his palm, I might know what happened."

Fu Cheng frowned slightly. In the past, he might have had a solution. But in the past six months, Guo Wenyuan had rarely gone out. He was either on set or at home. Fu Cheng had also heard that Guo Wenyuan had started filming a new movie right after "Red Actress" ended, and that he was keeping it very secret, with no news leaking out at all.

However, Fu Cheng thought for a moment and said, "It's probably not possible in the near future, but he should come out to promote it after 'Red Actress' enters the promotion period. At the very least, he will definitely appear at the premiere as one of the main actors."

Fu Cheng had one more thing to say: if Guo Wenyuan really had a problem in front of everyone, they could also ruin the premiere of "Red Actress," killing two birds with one stone.

Master Yixin didn't quite understand these terms: "When will we have to wait?"

Fu Cheng quickly replied, "It will take no more than six months. You can stay at my house during this time. If you need anything, just call my assistant."

However, Master Yixin shook his head: "It's been too long."

Fu Cheng was afraid that he would leave abruptly, so he quickly said, "If you don't want to wait this long, why don't you come with me to Dongjiang? I heard that his new movie was also filmed in Dongjiang."

When Yixin heard the words "Dongjiang", he paused slightly, then coughed and changed his words, saying, "Then there's no need. It's our duty to slay demons and monsters. Waiting a little longer won't hurt."

Although Fu Cheng didn't know why he changed his mind, this outcome was obviously better for him, so he immediately and warmly arranged for Yixin to stay in a guest room.

After settling Yixin in, he took his phone and left the villa to call Shengzhen.

He waited a long time before Sheng Zhen answered the phone, and said impatiently, "You said before that you had a way to deal with Guo Wenyuan, but so much time has passed, what have you come up with yet?"

Fu Cheng quickly relayed what Master Yixin had said to Sheng Zhen.

Sheng Zhen, however, was skeptical: "Really? It sounds so mystical."

Fu Cheng quickly swore an oath, and Sheng Zhen said impatiently, "Fine, I'll believe you one more time, but if you mess this up again, you can forget about getting Guanrui's resources so easily in the future."

Fu Cheng nodded repeatedly: "President Sheng, I will definitely not let you down!"

Sheng Zhen then hung up the phone, satisfied.

Fu Cheng put his phone back in his pocket and then realized that his feet were numb from the cold. He quickly ran back to his room, where two photos of Guo Wenyuan were still on the table.

Upon seeing the photo, his expression turned sinister, and he whispered, "Just wait, your good days are coming to an end."

Chapter 172

"The Eastern City Mystery" tells a story set in the Republican era. The protagonist, Ning Shen, is a reporter who spends his days chasing celebrity gossip and occasionally going to dance halls for drinks and dancing—a typical playboy. However, no one knows that his true identity is Red Heart K, an underground Communist Party liaison officer that the Japanese military has been trying to capture. At the same time, Urano Shoji, a Japanese spy who has been infiltrating China, also enters Dongjiang under the alias Changye. A battle between good and evil is about to erupt.

In this drama, Guo Wenyuan plays the protagonist Ning Shen, a carefree but righteous man, while Song Yimian plays Urano Shoji, a seemingly shy and refined man who is actually ruthless and cunning. The two characters have a stark contrast and engage in a battle of wits and courage, making for a very exciting drama.

After joining the crew, the two initially filmed their own scenes, and the production team split into two groups, A and B, to film simultaneously.

Director Shao Ning initially filmed Guo Wenyuan's A-set, but after two days of shooting, he went to the B-set to check the results. Upon returning, he was extremely excited: "President Guo, we've struck gold this time! Song Yimian is practically Urano Shoji himself!"

Guo Wenyuan knew that Song Yimian was a good actor, especially since he had improved very quickly when he was learning in the "Red Actress" crew. Later, he received guidance from Pei Ran. Guo Wenyuan had always wanted to know just how much he had improved, but since the two were filming in different crews, he couldn't see for himself. Now, after hearing what Shao Ning said, he became even more curious.

Fortunately, this agonizing feeling didn't last long. A week later, the two had their first scene together.

Guo Wenyuan was wearing a loose shirt and plaid pants, with a camera bag slung across his shoulder and a pancake in his hand, perfectly embodying Ning Shen's carefree and irreverent attitude.

Just then, a tram drove past him. Ning Shen quickly stopped it and ran onto the tram in a few quick steps. However, he didn't notice that he bumped his pancake into a student standing next to him.

This student is Chang Ye, played by Song Yimian.

Ning Shen quickly patted him with her other hand: "I'm sorry, classmate. Oh, you've got oil all over your clothes. I'll buy you a new one after we get off the bus."

Changye took a half step back without making a sound, but a smile appeared on his face: "It's okay."

Ning Shen, however, said nonchalantly, "It's related! Let me tell you, once this shirt gets stained with oil, it's impossible to clean it properly. I see that the cuffs of your shirt are quite old, so why don't you take this opportunity to buy a new one? I'll pay for it, so don't try to save me money."

Changye frowned slightly and emphasized, "Really, it's not necessary."

Ning Shen seemed somewhat displeased: "What's wrong with you, student? I, Young Master Ning, have always been a man of my word. I can't let my reputation be ruined for a few measly coins."

Changye hadn't expected him to be so persistent. Just as he was about to refuse again, the other man peeked at the book he was holding and said, "Oh, your name is Changye!"

Changye: "..."

Ning Shen chuckled and pulled a business card from his pocket, handing it to him: "Here you go. Whenever you want to buy clothes, you can come find me at the Dongcheng Daily."

Changye gave a perfunctory smirk, took the business card, and got out of the car.

Standing on the car, Ning Shen watched his retreating figure, her fingers stroking her bag, and murmured softly, "Chang Ye, is that you?"

At this moment, Shao Ning called out "Cut".

Guo Wenyuan finally relaxed his expression, got off the tram, and went to Shao Ning's side to watch the replay.

Song Yimian was quite far away, so he was a step behind.

When he arrived, he found Guo Wenyuan and Shao Ning both looking at the monitor with serious expressions and neither of them saying a word. Song Yimian was startled and cautiously asked, "President Guo, Director Shao, is there... a problem with the filming?"

Shao Ning looked up and said, "No, it was filmed very well. This take is good. You can touch up your makeup and do a few more shots later."

Song Yimian breathed a sigh of relief and then looked at Guo Wenyuan.

Guo Wenyuan clicked his tongue and patted Song Yimian on the shoulder: "Not bad, you have a good grasp of the character, and even your sense of the camera is better than before. You must have done a lot of homework, right?"

Song Yimian scratched his head, looking a little shy but also happy: "Well, I later specifically looked for some similar roles to study the actors' performances, and then I watched some documentaries and imitated some small movements. In addition, Pei Ran also taught me a lot, and I feel that I am much more adept than before."

Shao Ning asked curiously, "Pei Ran?"
