Outside the laboratory, the middle-aged woman who had been following Shi Gaofei, the "waiter," stood at the door. She looked calm and even relaxed, standing in the corridor outside the door.

The waiter finally spoke.
Her voice was calm but somewhat rigid: "Mr. Shi Gaofei, you shouldn't have betrayed the committee. In the Service Agency, only the committee holds supreme authority!"
Shi Gaofei seemed to have been dealt a heavy blow. He stared at the waiter, his face pale, and finally managed a laugh, his voice shrill and tinged with mockery:
