Kapitel 37

Sure enough, after walking to the end of the corridor on this floor, every room was filled with tea. Ma Xiaoniu also noticed that the bottom of the tea tins all bore the characters "Da Yu." With a thought, Ma Xiaoniu teleported to the upper floor. As expected, this floor also had a straight corridor with many rooms on both sides.

Opening the nearby room, you'll find many boxes inside. When you open a box, a faint glow emanates from it under the light of your phone.

Gems! All sorts of gems, and a whole box full of them! If every room in this corridor were filled with gems, how many gems would there be? My God! What dynasty is this Dayu? It's so wealthy, and according to Ma Xiaoniu's knowledge of history, there doesn't seem to be a dynasty called Dayu in Chinese history!

No! Suddenly, Ma Xiaoniu remembered someone with the character "Yu" in their name—it seemed to be Yu Shun! However, historical records about Yu Shun were only brief, and Yu Shun was the title used during the reign of Shun, a time when the society was still largely tribal. But looking at the large ship before him, the exquisitely crafted porcelain, the tea, and even the gemstones of today, it seemed the historical accounts of Yu Shun's era were inaccurate. This wasn't some primitive tribe living on raw meat and blood; it was clearly an incredibly wealthy dynasty! Perhaps this dynasty was the Yu Dynasty!

Thinking of this, Ma Xiaoniu decided to go back and do some research to see if there was any authoritative figure in this field, and then find a way to get that person to obtain the porcelain. Perhaps, it could change the entire history of China! This would be a great thing, and Ma Xiaoniu was always willing to do good deeds.

Reaching into the box, he rummaged through it. Black, red, green, and purple gems clinked together, each one priceless. Ma Xiaoniu wanted to take them all, but that was clearly impossible. At that moment, Ma Xiaoniu suddenly wished he had the ability to create space. Imagine if he could create a space, and then this entire ship could fit inside…

Hehe, Ma Xiaoniu wiped his drool, damn it, he lost his composure.

Looking at the colorful gems, Ma Xiaoniu sighed. There was nothing he could do for now; he could only pick up a few good ones to take with him, as his backpack had limited space. After searching the entire floor, Ma Xiaoniu collected several gems the size of eggs and stuffed them into his backpack. These gems were clearly different; their brilliance was much brighter than ordinary gems.

Continuing to teleport upwards, Ma Xiaoniu found himself in another corridor. Opening a door, he saw a bed with a sheathed sword hanging above it. Beside it lay a large, open chest containing scattered clothing, now decayed into a pool of murky, dirty water. It seemed this floor was the crew's quarters?

Continuing onward, as expected, this floor consisted entirely of bedrooms, each with a similar layout. Ma Xiaoniu didn't linger, continuing his teleportation upwards. This time, he arrived at a very spacious area. It was spacious because within a space four or five hundred meters long and over a hundred meters wide, there was only one palace. This palace occupied almost half of the floor, while the other half was the open plaza in front of the palace. The palace's red doors were tightly shut. Ma Xiaoniu approached and pushed, but the doors didn't budge; they were clearly locked from the inside. With a thought, Ma Xiaoniu teleported inside.

Inside the gate was a court hall, similar to where the emperor held court. Huge vermilion pillars lined both sides, and a golden carpet covered the floor, though its original color was almost indistinguishable due to the erosion of the sea. Above the hall were five tiers of steps, flanked by bronze candlesticks over a meter tall. At the top of the steps was a long red table, behind which sat a dark gold chair, upon which leaned a person.

The person had long since turned into a skeleton, but wore a golden crown and a snow-white robe adorned with golden, unidentified monster patterns. Although he was now a skeleton, he still leaned against the wall, gazing at the long table in front of him, on which lay a palm-sized black seal.

He stepped forward, reached out, and picked up the seal to examine it.

"Da Yu Zhulong"

"Da Yu Zhulong?" Ma Xiaoniu frowned. He knew what Zhulong was—a mythical beast from the Classic of Mountains and Seas. But what did "Da Yu Zhulong" mean? Did it represent an official title? Or was the person in front of him named Zhulong?

He put the seal in his backpack and continued wandering. The palace was vast, with the imperial court at the front. Next to the court was a small door, leading to another winding corridor with rooms on either side. He randomly chose a room and pushed open the door. Inside were several rows of mahogany bookshelves, the original books long since turned to mud by time and seawater. Ma Xiaoniu felt a pang of heartache. Damn, if these books had been preserved intact, they might have contained information about the Great Yu Dynasty.

The bookshelves were placed against the walls, and along one wall stood a desk, complete with writing brushes, ink, paper, and inkstones. Ma Xiaoniu left the room and entered another. This room had a red bed and canopy, clearly a bedroom. He examined each room in the hall and found that most were bedrooms, with only a few being studies and storage rooms. In addition, he found several skeletons in the bedrooms, which were likely the wives and concubines of that Zhulong.

Having finished inspecting this floor, Ma Xiaoniu continued to teleport upwards, this time arriving directly on the deck. The deck was spacious, with sails hanging from a towering flagpole hundreds of meters high, though the sails were now rotten, with only small parts remaining. Many skeletons lay scattered across the deck, all dressed in short-sleeved clothing, presumably soldiers from this ship.

It appears to be a cargo ship bound for some destination that encountered a storm or other disaster at sea, resulting in its sinking.

Make a note of the location, and come back to take the item if possible in the future.

Because it was in a trench, the road was difficult to travel, so Ma Xiaoniu simply teleported away. When he reappeared, he was already on the surface of the trench. He continued to travel along the trench. The seabed was rugged, with crisscrossing mountains and no road at all, so he had to teleport every now and then. Each time he teleported, Ma Xiaoniu lost his sense of direction and now had no idea where he was.

The underwater scenery was magnificent, but also dim and unclear. At first, it was full of novelty, but after a while, Ma Xiaoniu got bored and wanted to head back, and also deal with the gems in his backpack. But suddenly, out of the corner of his eye, Ma Xiaoniu seemed to see a small, dark thing slowly moving.

Huh? What is that?

Ma Xiaoniu examined it carefully, but because it was too far away and dimly lit, he couldn't see it clearly. So, Ma Xiaoniu teleported to within fifty meters of the object. When he got closer, he realized how enormous this small thing was! It was a full one or two hundred meters long, shaped like a cigar, with a slight bulge on top.

A submarine! Ma Xiaoniu squinted, unsure of its country of origin. There were markings on the submarine, but the seabed was too dark to see clearly. If it was from China, that would be fine, but what if it was a foreign submarine? No, he had to see it clearly.

Having made up his mind, he teleported to the side of the submarine. The submarine was still moving forward, but Ma Xiaoniu had already seen the words on it: US! A submarine from the United States! Ma Xiaoniu sneered, "Damn, I've heard for a long time that a foreign country has been causing trouble in the South China Sea. Today I've finally run into it. So..."

===Chapter Thirty-Five===

Inside the submarine, things were bustling about. Colonel Bendows sat with his legs crossed in the command chair in the submarine's control room, his eyes half-closed, looking relaxed.

“Don’t worry, even if the Dragon Kingdom has another thirty years, they still won’t be able to find our American submarine.” Bendos shifted to a more comfortable sitting position. “I’ve been in this submarine for over ten years and have never been discovered.” He was about to retire and couldn’t be bothered with so many things.

“Boss, but things are not like they were a dozen years ago. China’s technology has developed rapidly, and their submarines are not what they used to be,” the man with the mustache reminded him.

“Dear Captain, are you teaching me how to do things?” Bendos narrowed his eyes even more, and a vertical line appeared between his eyebrows, a sign of his anger.

The captain remained silent, continuing to monitor the situation outside through the binoculars.

"Sir! There's a strange noise coming from the stern of the submarine!" A dark-skinned soldier ran up and reported to Bendos.

"Damn it!" Bendos frowned. He felt uneasy today. Was it something the captain had said that was making him worry? "Did they find anything wrong?"

"Sir! An inspection has been conducted, but no abnormalities have been found so far."

"Boss, could it be that some large fish is scratching itself on the submarine?" the mustachioed captain suggested.

"Hmm, very likely! Immediately observe the surroundings and see if there are any abnormalities." Bendos glanced sideways at his mustache, the vertical lines between his eyebrows deepening.

Five minutes later, the black soldier ran over again, looking flustered.

"Sir! There's something amiss outside!"

“What’s wrong?” Bendos frowned. He hated black people, really.

"We've spotted a huge rock flying through the air outside our submarine! And it's attacking our submarine!" The black soldier looked bewildered; he had never seen anything like it before.

"What? Soldier, are you kidding me? What suspended rock? Explain yourself!" Bendas felt his brain was starting to malfunction.

“Boss, there really is a big rock attacking the submarine. You should take a look for yourself.” The captain next to him stepped aside and pointed through the binoculars.

Bendows peered closer. The ocean was dark and deep, but through the submarine's lights, he could vaguely see a huge, square rock smashing against the submarine from above its stern. The rock looked like a large, handleless hammer.

Bendas was dumbfounded. It really was a rock? But how could a rock attack on its own? This was unbelievable!

Suddenly, a thought flashed through his mind: "Hey? Could it be a new weapon from the Dragon Kingdom? It looks like stone on the outside, but it's actually a man-made machine?" That's it! It must be, otherwise there's no way to explain the current situation.

"This isn't a stone! This is a new weapon from the Dragon Kingdom!" Bendas turned around. "Captain, I order you to use the external machine gun to take out this Dragon Kingdom weapon! Now, immediately!"

"Yes, sir!" The captain sat down at the control panel and quickly operated the buttons. Soon, a dark machine gun extended from the middle of the submarine's exterior. The machine gun could rotate 360 degrees. The captain aimed the machine gun at the rocks that were smashing the submarine and fired it. The bullets pierced through the seawater and accurately hit the rocks. In just a moment, the rocks shattered and fell to the seabed.

"Yeah!" Bendaus shouted wildly. Sure enough, our America is still the strongest!
