Kapitel 47

Yang Lianqing stormed out, and as she passed the music room, a white figure silently darted past.

"Ah?" Yang Lianqing's heart pounded with panic. She thought she had seen a shadowy figure flash by out of the corner of her eye, as if a pair of eyes were staring at her, which sent chills down her spine.

Randomly, her beautiful eyes, filled with panic, slowly swept across the window of the music room. Her vision became somewhat shaky, and the blurry white figure vanished in a flash.

"ah!!"

Yang Lianqing screamed in terror, feeling as if all her strength had been drained away. She slumped weakly to the ground, the old trees behind her rustling louder and louder.

"Lianqing, what's wrong? What's wrong?" Yang Feng ran over from not far away. When he heard his sister scream, he thought something had happened, so he quickly put his mind aside and turned to run over.

As he ran over, he noticed someone's gaze around him—a pair of eyes. Ever since he acquired the superhuman physique and combat experience of a mercenary, he had developed this sixth sense.

You can't go wrong.

But that gaze vanished abruptly. Yang Feng turned around sharply, only to find a thick shadow and the calm sound of wind; nothing else.

Yang Feng sighed deeply, quickly went to his sister's side, and whispered, "Lianqing, are you alright...?"

Yang Lianqing, her delicate body trembling slightly, sat on the ground, curled up in a ball, her beautiful eyes tightly closed, her head buried low, and beads of cold sweat on her snow-white neck.

It seems he was quite frightened.

Yang Feng slapped his forehead. He had forgotten that his sister, with her fragile heart, would definitely be frightened if she walked alone on the school road at night.

Hearing Yang Feng's soft greeting, Yang Lianqing slightly raised her head. Seeing it was Yang Feng, she immediately threw herself into his arms, her sobs filled with fear, and said:

"Waaah... Yang Feng, you scared me to death! I just saw a ghost in the music room, a ghost—"

"A ghost?" Yang Feng was taken aback upon hearing this. He looked up at the direction of the music room window. Apart from the reflection of the daylight, there was nothing wrong with it. There was no question of a ghost.

Moreover, you can clearly see the musical instruments inside, although there are still some areas that are not visible from the viewpoint.

Yang Feng patted his younger sister's shoulder, comforting her:

"Where are the ghosts? It's just your imagination. There are no ghosts in this world. Even if there were, I could knock them out with one punch. Don't be afraid!"

Hearing his half-joking words, his younger sister felt much better. She peeked her head out of his arms, looked up at Yang Feng with her bright eyes, and said reproachfully:

"Sent flying with a single punch? That's impossible, that's nonsense. But... I did see something fly by just now."

"Stop talking nonsense." Yang Feng gave his sister a flick on the head when she said something strange, sighed, and said, "Forget it, let's go."

He decided to just take his sister home; he didn't plan to investigate the case on his own anymore and would leave it to the police.

Immediately, he took his younger sister's fair wrist and walked towards the front of the school. The operatives were searching almost every floor of the school, and there were passersby and students outside the cordon.

Thankfully tomorrow is the weekend, otherwise the school would have to close.

Yang Feng got up and went to Yun Bi's side, saying, "Beautiful policewoman, have you found anything?"

"Not yet, but it will only take a little time."

Yun Bi glanced at Yang Feng, then said:

"This is not a place for you, so you should leave immediately."

“That’s right,” Wang, the forensic doctor, chimed in. “What are you doing here, kid? Get out of here! You’re obstructing their work. What will you do then?!”

Yang Feng smiled faintly and said, "Heh, that's exactly what I was thinking. I'm too lazy to bother with these murder case investigations."

After saying that, he grabbed his sister's hand and swaggered away from the school gate.

As Yang Feng walked, his brows furrowed, lost in thought. This time, seeing what he was thinking, Yang Lianqing remained silent and quietly made her way home.

"Finally back. I'm exhausted. I've been busy all afternoon." As soon as she entered the house, Yang Lianqing untied the sash of her pink ancient costume and went to the bathroom to take a shower.

Yang Feng sat on the sofa, sighed deeply, and murmured, "They've already told me to leave, why am I still worrying about these things? But—"

"Ding-dong, mission failed. Penalty: None."

A cold, mechanical voice echoed in his mind, and Yang Feng gave a bitter smile.

This was my first mission failure, but thankfully there was no punishment.

Chapter 46 Help me get my pajamas

Just as Yang Feng sighed, a pleasant female voice came from the other end of the bathroom.

"Yang Feng~ Could you bring me my pajamas? I forgot to bring them~"

Hearing his sister's call, Yang Feng shook his head, shaking off his irritation. He then went to the balcony, grabbed a thin black nightgown, and turned to walk towards the bathroom.

"Then, I've put your pajamas here..."

Before Yang Feng could finish speaking, Yang Lianqing's elastic and firm skin, her snow-white and delicate body, was exposed naked in front of him.

Yang Lianqing shifted her gaze from the mirror to Yang Feng. The bathroom was completely silent, as silent as death.

"Ahem, can you please stop being so narcissistic? Staring blankly at yourself in the mirror, and not even closing the door properly, you're really something else."

Yang Feng looked slightly embarrassed. He put his pajamas on the sink, turned around and spoke, his tone sounding quite serious.

"Oh, oh..." Yang Lianqing nodded blankly. A few seconds later, a sound that was almost eighty decibels suddenly came from the bathroom.

"ah!!!"

The windows of the entire house shook. Yang Feng's lips twitched violently, and he shook his head. Who told this little girl to stand outside looking in the mirror at a time like this? There was nothing he could do.
