Chapter 14

"Let's go upstairs."

The two secretly went up to the fourth floor and saw voices coming from room 509. Li Xu was curious and wanted to take a look, but Gu Xing stopped him and pulled him upstairs. The voices grew louder and louder, so that Gu Xing and Li Xu could hear what they were saying.

With a heavy heart, Gu Xing pulled Li Xu up to the rooftop. Looking down, they saw a group of people walking towards the dormitory. Gu Xing and Li Xu secretly watched from the rooftop and saw them walk up to the mentally unstable people downstairs.

One of them shouted to one of them, "Hey, Brother Huang, have Gu Xing and the others come back yet?"

The person being questioned just grinned foolishly, touched his chest, then his head. Gu Xing sighed when he saw this, and Li Xu sat down.

"I wonder how Yang Mian and the others are doing?"

Just as Li Xu was about to reply, several people's voices came from downstairs: "I saw Yang Mian, Da Kai, and a few others in the abandoned laboratory."

Upon hearing this, Gu Xing secretly went to the stairs and listened attentively.

This laboratory was a small bungalow. Due to the school's early planning, it was intended to be expanded, but the location was later changed, so no one took care of it, and it became overgrown with weeds. During their freshman year, Yang Mian and Gu Xing led the way in coming here to drink and have fun. In addition to frequently coming with a group of people from Room 202, they also invited almost all the boys in the dormitory building to drink. Later, when they entered their sophomore year, they were caught by the school supervisor and never came back.

Gu Xing looked around at the weeds and knew that if they went out now, they would definitely be caught, because people who heard the broadcast were coming from all directions. Going out now would be tantamount to suicide.
