Chapter 21

Chi Cheng glanced at it and said, "It's all turned into water now."

Fang Ze and Tina laughed again.

The two were clearly still wearing pajamas, and Tina's nipples were visible on the front of her clothes. Chi Cheng glanced at them and then looked away.

Tina wasn't embarrassed at all. As the two walked out arm in arm, she whispered to Chi Cheng, "Brother Chi, Coco has an even better figure."

As soon as Chi Cheng returned to his room, Lin Shan's video call came in.

Before he went abroad, Lin Shan had already told him that during the Christmas holidays, he wanted to go to Northern Europe to see the Northern Lights and ride a reindeer sleigh in Santa Claus Village in Finland.

Lin Shan had been urging him to apply for a Schengen visa for a long time. She had just submitted her application last week, so she was probably here to urge Chi Cheng again.

Chi Cheng has been busy with his group project these past few weeks. He didn't really care before, but now that he has several courses that overlap with Shi Ling's, he's afraid of failing one and losing face, and then being ridiculed by her.

Seeing that Lin Shan was urging him again, he promised her that he would definitely do it next week.

Chi Cheng played a few games with Lin Shan, and was utterly humiliated by her.

After they hung up the phone, he closed his laptop and simply leaned against the bed with his Switch to play online games.

I don't know when I loosened my Switch and fell asleep.

When Chi Cheng woke up again, he glanced at his phone and realized it was already past 1 a.m.

He gritted his teeth and knocked on the wall.

The impact sounds coming from Fang Ze's side only paused briefly for a few seconds.

Then it erupted even more violently.

Only Fang Ze and his room had beds side by side, separated only by a wall. Shi Ling's room was in the corner near the kitchen, and Zhao Yongbin's room was near the door.

Chi Cheng rubbed his messy bangs, his temper even worse in the dead of night.

He stood at Fang Ze's door, about to knock, when he faintly heard two people shout at the top of their lungs, and then the noise stopped completely.

Chi Cheng: "..."

His outstretched fist, barely clenched, stopped at Fang Ze's doorway, his nameless anger finding nowhere to vent.

Chi Cheng went back inside, put on a coat, and stood downstairs lighting a cigarette, facing the early autumn night wind.

Across from the dormitory building, there are several old red brick steps on the roadside.

Smoking within three meters of the dormitory building will trigger the smoke alarm. He sat on the steps, smoking and idly grinding the dead leaves on the ground next to the steps.

It made a sound that wasn't too harsh.

After grinding a few pieces, I felt bored. It was already a waste of scraps.

It's already past 1 a.m., and there aren't many lights left on in the dormitory.

Chi Cheng looked up and saw that in the suite they were staying in, only two windows were still letting in a warm, yellow light.

Chi Cheng checked again; besides his own room, the other one that was still glowing was Shi Ling's room.

She drew the curtains, leaving only a crack, so she couldn't see what was inside.

Seeing this, Chi Cheng noticed that the half-burnt cigarette seemed to have lost its flavor.

He took a few quick puffs and watched as the embers burned a hole in a fallen leaf.

When he opened the door, Shi Ling was still asleep on the desk.

Her breathing was light and even, and her eyelashes, illuminated by the lamplight, concealed the weariness under her eyes. The warm light made her face look as gentle as a piece of warm jade.

She had her textbooks under her arm, covered with neatly written notes.

Chi Cheng bent down and stared at her face for a long time.

He then reached out, gently took her hand, lifted her legs, and pulled her into his arms.

Chi Cheng gently placed Shi Ling on the bed and was about to lean over to kiss her forehead when he saw Shi Ling staring at him coldly.

Her eyes were dark and bright.

I don't know when I woke up.

His stubble had already touched her delicate skin, and Chi Cheng, despite her staring at him, still gave her a light peck.

He released her gracefully, stood up straight, and said, "Cover yourself with the blanket when you wake up."

Shi Ling woke up when he picked her up. Feeling the chill emanating from him and the fresh scent of tobacco, she knew what he had been doing.

Chi Cheng stood between the desk lamp and the bed. The lamp shone on him, and his shadow was cast entirely on Shi Ling.

He glanced at her, then turned and turned off the lamp.

As Shi Ling took off her pajamas and coat, she said, "Don't smoke in the middle of the night."

Chi Cheng thought she was showing some softness in the darkness, wanting to end their current stalemate.

Shi Ling followed up with a cold laugh, "Be careful not to die suddenly."

Chi Cheng's expression turned cold again. This time, he was calm and said indifferently, "Ungrateful."

Shi Ling smiled. "At least don't do such useless work next time."

She was referring to him carrying her to bed.

Chi Cheng sighed silently, left her room without lingering, and didn't say anything.

**

This week, when Chi Cheng was contacting a travel agency to handle his visa application, Fang Ze overheard him and said he would apply for it with him.

Fang Ze not only brought Tina along, but also asked Shi Ling if she wanted to come along.

Ultimately, travel agencies can offer discounts for groups of people.

In the end, except for Zhao Yongbin, whose Hong Kong passport didn't require a Schengen visa, the rest of them arranged to apply for group visas and went to the embassy for their visas on the same day. Seeing that they were all going, Zhao Yongbin suggested they join them, saying they could do some sightseeing nearby after getting their visas.

After finally getting their visas, they still didn't explore the area. Zhao Yongbin suggested going to Chinatown for hot pot.

Of course, Fang Ze and Tina are inseparable.

The relationship between the remaining three is fraught with tension.

Fortunately, Zhao Yongbin had made several acquaintances with Hong Kong people in the past few weeks, and he spent less time with them. Although he found Shi Ling sexy and beautiful, she was undeniably cold and intimidating. Having met many people, Zhao Yongbin gradually gave up after several unsuccessful attempts.

The three of them were supposed to be talking together, but Zhao Yongbin noticed that Chi Cheng spoke much less and his expression wasn't as good when Shi Ling was around.

While Fang Ze and Tina were taking photos in the red retro telephone booth, Zhao Yongbin secretly asked Chi Cheng if he had a conflict with Shi Ling.

Chi Cheng patted him on the shoulder, saying he was overthinking it.

Zhao Yongbin has a good personality; if you tell him there's a misunderstanding, he'll help mediate.

After saying that, Zhao Yongbin chuckled mischievously, "You don't even like a woman like Shi Ling, so what kind of woman do you prefer?"

Chi Cheng put his arm around his shoulder and whispered in his ear, "Someone like you."

Zhao Yongbin kicked him away, saying, "Don't give me that, I'm straight."

Chi Cheng saw that he was no longer talking about this and returned to his normal expression.

He chatted casually with Zhao Yongbin.

They had only walked a few steps when they saw Fang Ze, who had already walked far ahead, pulling Tina back.

"Holy crap, do you guys even know what's up ahead?"

He hadn't noticed until Chi Cheng pointed it out; the intersection in front of them was packed with people, making it impossible to see what was going on.

Fang Ze, panting, his eyes shining with excitement, exclaimed, "Damn, a bunch of people went crazy, riding naked!"

Zhao Yongbin's eyes lit up too, "Holy crap, really?"

Fang Ze nodded, "Damn, you can see both the penis and the breasts, that's so exciting, I'm going to go check it out."

After he finished speaking, he pulled Tina and squeezed into the crowd at the front.

It turns out that the naked cycling route came from the side street, but turned around here and rode forward. They were completely blocked by the crowd, so they didn't see anything along the way.

Knowing that Shi Ling was there, Zhao Yongbin spoke to Chi Cheng in Cantonese in a lewd manner, "In the movies, all the foreigners have huge breasts, do you think any of them are 'flabby'?"

Chi Cheng chuckled softly, "Then it'll look good."

After saying this, the group squeezed through the crowd to the side of the road.

To be honest, seeing a group of people riding bicycles completely naked didn't create any sense of eroticism or sex. In fact, since the cyclists had cycling slogans on their bodies, they were more eye-catching, and since they had all shaved their lower bodies, their private parts weren't particularly noticeable.

There were more men than women, and the few women who did appear were not very attractive; most of them had droopy skin that was unsightly.

Chi Cheng and Zhao Yongbin also complained about this.

In comparison, there are far more attractive men to see. Naked cycling is inherently a public welfare and environmental movement; the slogans on their bikes say things like "Bicycle" or "Car," advocating a return to nature and low-carbon travel. Many of the men, especially foreigners, are quite well-built and muscular.

When it comes to sex organs, it must be admitted that foreigners always have some advantages.

Especially after a black man passed by, waving to pedestrians as he rode past, his dark genitals made Zhao Yongbin curse, "Damn it."

Chi Cheng patted his shoulder. "There's nothing I can do."

After he finished speaking, he turned his head to look at Shi Ling. Actually, he had seen so many white bodies that he was somewhat used to it, and he didn't find it particularly surprising at the moment.

Shi Ling, however, was taking pictures.

Chi Cheng narrowed his eyes. This naked riding was not related to sex, but seeing Shi Ling's appearance reminded him of their past.

At that time, the two had just gotten together. After their lovemaking, Shi Ling sat on the bed without putting on any clothes, smoking a cigarette.

She sighed, her smile tinged with desolation, "So it really is different."

Upon hearing this, Chi Cheng's expression instantly changed.

He was always confident in himself, whether in terms of skills or other aspects. Judging from the lingering feeling on her face and her reaction just now, he knew that she had reached her peak. He knew that she was no longer saying that he was bad, but he couldn't tolerate her making such a comparison.

Shi Ling was replying to Xu Yiting's WeChat message, asking if she wanted to go to his house and hang out with his roommates over the weekend.

Seeing this scene, even she, who is usually calm, found it novel and couldn't help but take a picture and share it.

She was recording a video when the screen went black.

Shi Ling looked up and, sure enough, saw Chi Cheng squeeze over to her side, blocking her camera with an unhappy expression.

Shi Ling took her phone back, but Chi Cheng kept pressing it.
