===Chapter 1===

An alternate plane.

Ma Xiaoniu, 32 years old, from Huimian County, Dragon Kingdom, is one of countless ordinary people in Dragon Kingdom. He is a teacher, with a mundane job and an uneventful life.

Ma Xiaoniu has a quiet and easygoing personality; in today's terms, he's a typical homebody. However, Ma Xiaoniu harbors a very chuunibyou (delusional) dream: to be a chivalrous knight-errant who fights for justice and eliminates evil, and a knight-errant who appears and disappears without a trace. Of course, this chuunibyou dream can only remain a figment of his imagination.

The rain poured down, accompanied by lightning and thunder.

I got off work at five in the afternoon. It wasn't late, but in this kind of weather, the whole world seemed to darken. Rain dripped down around the black umbrella, like a curtain of water.
