Su Majestad - Capítulo 10

Capítulo 10

"Because he likes you, well, he probably even wants to sleep with you."

Tang Congrong nearly spat out the soup he was drinking. "I'm a man!"

"In this world, there are men who like men, isn't that strange? What did you say? He has everything he has, how can he compare to a woman?"

Tang Congrong's face had darkened.

"Don't you think it's a pity I didn't use bone-dissolving powder on him?" Tang Qiefang chuckled. "Well, it's also because you're too delicate-looking; those with a penchant for such things all like men who are effeminate—"

Tang Congrong slammed her chopsticks down, "I'm full," and got up to leave.

Tang Qiefang hurriedly followed, and was about to speak when Tang Congrong said, "Filthy."

Tang Qiefang knew what he was talking about. "This kind of person is indeed scum. Why spoil your mood for him? Come, I'll take you to Cuihua Tower and let you taste what it's like to be a man."

Tang Congrong shook off his arm, "Don't do anything reckless."

"Love between men and women is a natural thing, how is it indecent?" Tang Qiefang wrapped one arm around her again, but Tang Congrong reached out and blocked it, exchanging several moves in an instant.

The two were evenly matched in martial arts. Tang Qiefang was unable to put his arm around Tang Congrong's shoulder again, and Tang Congrong did not shake him off. With a few quick steps, they arrived at Cuihua Tower, where more than a dozen hands reached out to the two of them, surrounding them with sweet voices.

Chapter Twenty-Two

Tang Congrong had never seen anything like this before, and his face suddenly turned red. Tang Qiefang smiled and pushed through the crowd for him, pulling him inside.

This was Tang Congrong's first time in such a place. Her eyes were filled with the delicate beauty of flowers and willows, and her ears with the sweet chirping of birds. Girls sat on guests' laps, flirting and teasing. Tang Congrong hurried into the private room, her face flushed.

Tang Qiefang smiled, a glint of light in her eyes. She tossed a silver ingot to the girl beside her, dismissing them first. Then, she sat down leisurely. "Hey, a real man likes women. You wouldn't happen to be like that guy, preferring men—"

Before the word "person" could even land, a flash of silver light appeared, and Tang Qiefang, along with her chair, moved a foot to the right, a silver needle piercing the screen.

"Tsk tsk, you really have the heart to kill your ancestors."

Tang Congrong said calmly, "Then Grand Uncle, please enjoy your meal."

He walked straight to the door, and Tang Qiefang, chair and all, swept to the door. "Congrong, do me the honor, I'll bring you the most beautiful woman in the world in a little while."

"I'm not interested."

“You’ll be interested once you see her,” Tang Qiefang persisted. “Such a beauty will make you feel that life is infinitely wonderful.”

Tang Congrong frowned, on the verge of exploding.

Tang Qiefang had grown up with him since childhood, so how could she not know what his expression meant? But the more he acted like that, the less Tang Qiefang wanted to give way.

Tang Congrong seemed uninterested in anything since childhood. Eating, drinking, dressing, using things, playing—none of these things could truly capture his attention. At nineteen, a time when adolescence is just beginning, he didn't even have the thought of looking at women.

Tang Congrong is indeed eccentric, but if he's this eccentric, what's the point of living?

“You have two choices,” Tang Qiefang said. “One, stay here with me and wait for Xie Yinong. Two, go back on your own, and then one day I’ll give you some aphrodisiac and throw a woman into your bed.”

Tang Congrong was taken aback; Tang Qiefang was serious.

His face, his tone of voice, and his eyes all spoke volumes about his seriousness.

His breath caught in his throat, and Tang Congrong gritted his teeth and asked, "What exactly do you want?"

"I just want you to be more normal," Tang Qiefang said. "Be more composed, you live like a hermit monk."

His voice was deep, and his eyes were full of concern.

Tang Congrong turned her head slightly, avoiding his gaze. "Will finding women bring happiness?"

"Then what do you want? Power, money, status in the underworld, looks, reputation—what don't you have?"

Tang Congrong opened her mouth, wanting to say something, but then stopped herself. Her mind was in turmoil, and she frowned, saying, "You wouldn't understand."

Tang Qiefang grew anxious, "How can I understand if you don't tell me?"

"I want you to take control of the Tang Clan as soon as possible!" Tang Congrong, who was usually calm and gentle, finally lost her patience and said loudly, "I will not be the head of the Tang Clan for long! I must take full control of the Tang Clan as soon as possible and then find a suitable successor!"

Tang Qiefang was stunned.

"You're not going to be the head of the family? You're going to find the next head?" His eyes widened. "Boy, what are you saying? You're only nineteen, you haven't even married yet, where are you going to find the next head of the family? You've made yourself sick practicing the Flower Rain Needle technique, and you actually say you won't be the head of the family for long—what kind of nonsense is that?!"

Chapter Twenty-Three

Deeply shaken, a scene flashed through my mind: earlier today in the carriage, Tang Congrong had said, "Hurry... how many years does one have in the prime of life?"

He still remembers Tang Congrong's light tone and her dreamy eyes when she spoke.

He jolted, grabbed Tang Congrong's shoulders, and stared intently at her face. "Tang Congrong, what are you hiding from me?"

Tang Congrong lowered her eyes.

Tang Qiefang's heart sank.

It was falling like a stone, with no idea where it would end up.

Tang Congrong was indeed hiding something from him.

Tang Congrong was actually hiding something from him.

Such a thought surged from the top of his head to his lungs, then from his lungs to his forehead, leaving a burning sensation wherever it passed. He suddenly flicked his sleeve, and a rosewood chair beside him instantly turned to dust. Its large, light frame was whipped about by the strong wind, and his long hair flew up as well. Tang Qiefang's eyes flashed with coldness. "What is it?"

Tang Congrong didn't raise her eyes, but turned her face away, saying, "You'll know in the future."

Tang Qiefang stared at him with icy eyes. His face, half-turned, was slightly pale, his long eyelashes trembling gently. His drooping eyelashes made him seem asleep…asleep? The sight of Tang Congrong seemingly asleep made Tang Qiefang's heart skip a beat. As if a cool breeze had dispelled her anger, Tang Qiefang's voice involuntarily softened, "Is it related to your injury?"
