Chapitre 3

Bill and Tran were startled. Bill looked around and said, "What's that?"

"The rudder is stuck." Tran looked innocent, turned the rudder, and found that it wouldn't turn.

"What?"

Bill immediately took over and turned the helm, but it didn't work.

Damn it!

Bill immediately got out of the driver's seat and went to where everyone was sleeping.

"Everyone, get up quickly." With that, he lifted Sam off the bed and opened the hood of the car. He fiddled with it for a bit.

"Shit, the engine plate is broken."

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

"What?"

What is that?

"Oh my god!" Everyone panicked when they saw the waterfall in front of them.

"Hold on tight, everyone!" Tran shouted as soon as he saw that the rudder was broken and they could not enter the fork in the river, which was about to head towards the waterfall.

"Luckily, I'm a snake, so holding my breath underwater isn't a problem." Lin Qing remained calm, knowing the boat had reached the waterfall.

As the boat slowly approached the waterfall, it suddenly shuddered, its bow lifted into the air, and then its stern rose sharply before the boat plunged down the waterfall at an 80-degree angle.

"Bang!"

The ship broke apart and sank into the water. In an instant, the cabin where Lin Qing was hiding was filled with water.

Completely submerged in water, Lin Qing held her breath, wiggled her hips, and swam out of the cabin in one go.

A short while later, Lin Qing watched as the people who had fallen into the water struggled to swim to the shore. Lin Qing immediately dived into the water and swam towards the shore, twisting his serpentine waist.

Suddenly, Lin Qing saw a huge creature ahead, a massive python with yellow and black stripes. Yes, there was a giant python in the river. Lin Qing was immediately terrified and stood frozen in place, not daring to move.

Damn it, I completely forgot that there was a giant python in the river where the group fell after their boat capsized in the original series. After all, this series was just so-so, and so much time has passed.

Lin Qing was so frightened that his face turned pale, even though his snake face was gray.

Fortunately, the group ignored Lin Qing and swam away.

"Fortunately, it seems this big guy thinks I'm too small to bother with, after all, I'm not even enough to fill a gap between its teeth." Lin Qing wagged its tail with a look of relief.

Lin Qing swam to the shore, which was about ten meters away from the others.

With a "whoosh," he disappeared into the bushes, secretly observing Bill and his group through the gaps in the plants.

After Lin Qing entered the bushes, Tran subconsciously glanced in Lin Qing's direction, but finding nothing there, he didn't think much of it.

He casually pulled several yellow plastic balls tied together from the water, with two large machetes tied to the back of the plastic balls.

That machete was similar to the watermelon knife that Chan Ho-nam held in the Young and Dangerous movies, only a bit older.

Lin Qing silently watched as Bill took a satellite phone and called another curly-haired boatman, arranging a meeting place for him to pick them up.

Then he and Tran took two watermelon knives and led the group off.

Lin Qing immediately followed, but dared not get too close, keeping it about ten meters.

Above Lin Qing, the monkey Xiao Gang kept calling out to Lin Qing, "Gah~~~!" (Forgive me, I really can't quite describe the sound of a monkey).

However, it was all for naught; Bill and the others only felt that Little Monkey was excited to be in the woods.

Who would have thought that a snake with a human soul was following behind!

After walking for about ten minutes, the group came to a swamp with water up to their waists. Not wanting to take a detour, they walked into the swamp.

Lin Qing said she wanted to keep a low profile and stay away from the area this time.

The giant snake in the swamp was determined to kill Douglas, fearing that the python might accidentally swat him to death.

Soon, the group reached the center of the marsh. Suddenly, Monkey Xiaogang jumped onto a dead tree behind them and shouted into the water.

The group was startled and turned around. Bill immediately stopped Xiao Gang and turned to continue forward.

Suddenly, Sam saw a ripple on the water heading towards them. Sam looked around with a serious expression. She sensed something was wrong; there was something in the water.

"Shit, what's that?" Cole, the young black man, shouted, raising his hands high in fright.

"What? What is it?" Blackie Gail (we'll call her Blackie for easy identification since she's a bit dark-skinned) turned around and asked anxiously.

Something glided past.

Please don't talk nonsense.

"I mean it, something slid past."

"A living thing?" The big black man, Jordan, gripped the backpack straps tightly with both hands, revealing his inner unease.

“Yeah, shit! Here we go again. There’s something here.” Cole, the black guy, jumped up in fright after being brushed by the giant python.

"There are probably millions of species!" Douglas, the soy sauce guy, said nonchalantly.

“He’s right, let’s keep going!” Bill knew they couldn’t delay any longer.

Even if there is something, it's better to get out of the swamp as soon as possible than to stay in it.

With that, the group continued forward, while Douglas, the "Soy Sauce Guy," lagged behind with a smile.

However, he himself was unaware of the horror movie law: the lone survivor is doomed. Soy Sauce Guy is about to meet his end.

Lin Qing said, "No zuo no die. Running behind and flirting with girls, and even standing between the snake's tail and body, who else would the python eat if not you?"

Chapter Four: The Giant Python's Double Kill

“di~le~~di~ le~~” Douglas was still happily flirting with the girl.

“I swear, you’re not stopping,” Gail replied, a little annoyed.

Douglas, all smiles, didn't seem to care, but suddenly his whole body sank into the water and disappeared.

“That’s funny!” Gale turned around and found no one behind her. She felt that Douglas was playing a trick on her again and said helplessly.

But then I realized something was off.

"Ben? Ben?" Gail felt like this wasn't a joke.

Upon hearing this, everyone immediately gathered around, and seeing that one person had disappeared, they immediately shouted Douglas's name.

"Book?"

"Ben? Where are you?"

With a "whoosh!", Douglas suddenly appeared in the distance, as if he were being pulled by something.

From left to right, and then from right to left, the water surface was turbulent because of Douglas.

"Help me!" Douglas suddenly stopped, his upper body standing on the water, waving his hands and shouting in terror.

Before anyone could react, Douglas sank directly into the water.

The water surface immediately calmed down. A moment later, Douglas reappeared from another spot underwater.

Everyone was shocked, for they all knew that some terrifying being had attacked Douglas.

Douglas stood in the water, completely bewildered and covered in wounds. He seemed to sense something and looked to his left.

Then he saw a giant python leap out of the water, its blood-red mouth wide open, lunging at him.

"Ah!" The huge python bit Douglas's head, its entire body rising out of the water, its tail and body thrashing about.

Then the snake tilted its head back, and the whole person was swallowed into the python's belly.

"ah!"

"ah!"

The crowd was horrified and gesticulated wildly as they watched Douglas being swallowed.

Bill immediately shouted:

"Run!"

Upon hearing this, everyone immediately panicked and ran in the other direction, fearing that if they were even a little slower, they would suffer the same fate as Douglas.

The giant python seemed to have eaten its fill and didn't bother chasing the fleeing group.

The entire snake sank into the water and disappeared, and the water surface gradually calmed down.

Lin Qing was truly stunned as the giant python swallowed a person in the blink of an eye.

After all, he was a homebody in his previous life and had never seen such a bloody scene before. It was the first time he had ever seen a dead person being swallowed whole.

Even if Lin Qing wanted to save the person, he was powerless. What could he do with such a small snake? Helpless, he subconsciously swallowed.

He quickly shook his head and stayed close to Bill and his group underwater; his plan couldn't afford to fail.

After leaving the marshland, everyone entered the forest.

"What is that thing?" Cole's heart was pounding, and he turned pale with fright.

“An anaconda!” Bill said calmly.

"That's great!"

"A snake this big is here?"

Yes, but...

"But what? It swallowed him!" Cole shouted, waving his arms, interrupting Bill.

"Calm down and listen to me," Bill reassured everyone, after all, someone had died.

"No, no, no! You need to calm down and listen to me. Ben was swallowed by a giant python! - A giant python!" Cole shouted excitedly, pointing at Bill.

"Cole!"

"Oh God! Oh God!"

“Cole!” Dr. Jack called his name, trying to calm him down.
