Qiu Su opened her eyes but didn't move. She then looked at the tent in front of her by the light of an oil lamp. It was definitely not her place; even the blanket beneath her had turned into the fur of some unknown animal.

Someone burst in, laughing loudly, as they lifted the curtain.

"General, the Yibei Camp has been in chaos for a day and a half, and the camp is still in complete disarray."

"Hmph, that Third Prince is nothing special." It was Wu Na's voice. "But I like those two wolves."

"Should we catch it?"

"Can you catch them all? Wolves are all about luck, they're wild!"

As the footsteps drew closer, Qiu Su hurriedly closed her eyes.

"Hey, not pretty either." A hand smeared her chest, and Qiu Su froze. The man laughed and turned around, saying, "General, this girl is awake, and she's quite well-endowed."

Una laughed twice, "This is the young general of the Yibei Camp, haha, a female general."

The man laughed and reached out to touch her again, but Qiu Su raised her leg, bent and straightened it, and kicked the man in the face. Knowing she couldn't escape, she calmed down a bit, and the kick was accurate and hard, sending the burly man sprawling to the ground, covering his face.

Una laughed loudly. The man, his neck red, got up and clenched his fist, which was as big as a hammer, about to swing it. Una stopped laughing and said, "My woman, you bastard, watch your hand."

The man withdrew his hand, snorted, and said, "How could a god like you take a fancy to a woman like this? She's ugly, nowhere near as good as Nata."

Una remained noncommittal, looking at Qiu Su who had already stood up and was standing in a corner, and said to Qiang Nu, "You should go."

Qiang Nu turned and glared at Qiu Su before lifting the curtain and leaving.

Una crossed her legs and swung them slightly, as if looking at prey locked in a cage. After a while, she threw a piece of coarse flour in front of her, and said with a smirk, "Woman, you ruined my horse's leg and stabbed my horse."

Qiu Su was in pain all over, thinking it was probably from being jostled on horseback during the journey. She simply sat down again, munching on a piece of coarse bread, pretending not to hear what Wu Na said.

"People from the Ji family?"

...

Una wasn't annoyed. "I fought with the one from your family who died. He was formidable."

Qiu Su closed her eyes briefly. When Ji Yue was fighting, he was just a baby.

Una stretched out a hand, "Five years old, shot one of his soldiers, haha, the general is brave, but the soldiers are not."

Qiu Su took a bite of the cake and chewed slowly, but she was so thirsty that she couldn't swallow it. Wu Na gestured with her chin toward the teacup on the low table, "Help yourself."

Qiu Su swallowed hard and looked at Wu Na, saying, "Let's talk."

Una laughed loudly, "I'm not interested in talking about it anymore." After laughing, he stared at Qiu Su for a long time. Seeing that she had a straight face and no fear, he nodded approvingly and said, "Interesting. I heard that the women over there are made of water and cry at the drop of a hat. It seems that's not entirely true."

Qiu Su closed her eyes briefly. "How can I go back?"

Una stroked his chin. "You really want to go back? Stay here, haha, there's food and drink, and you don't have to lead troops on the battlefield."

Qiu Su pursed her lips and lowered her eyes. Wu Na stared at her for a while, then tapped his chin and stood up. At the same time, he saw Qiu Su tremble almost imperceptibly. Wu Na grinned, stood for a moment, and slowly walked over, his eyes fixed on Qiu Su.

Qiu Su sat motionless, her expression unchanged, though her knuckles turned white from gripping the coarse grain pancake so tightly. Wu Na stopped in front of her, abruptly bending down, and the pancake in Qiu Su's hand snapped in two and rolled to the ground, her face remaining completely expressionless.

Una threw his head back and laughed, then slapped his thigh and said, "Interesting. I won't make things difficult for you. I'll give you half a month. If you can escape from here, we'll let bygones be bygones."

"Will you guarantee my safety for the next two weeks?"

Una rolled his eyes, chuckled twice, and said, "If you don't provoke me, I can guarantee it."

"Can I go now?"

Una raised an eyebrow in surprise and pointed to the tent entrance, saying, "Let's go."

Qiu Su got up and ran outside, when she heard the person behind her say slowly, "Oh, I forgot to remind you. The brothers haven't had any meat for more than half a year, it's time to find a woman to relieve their pent-up desires."

Qiu Su suddenly stopped in her tracks, unaware that the brief moment had been caught in the flesh of her palm.

55. The rumor about Death God Ping is not true...

Qiu Su knew that Wu Na was playing a cat-and-mouse game. She stayed in his tent all night in fear. Seeing that he did not touch her, she waited until he came out of the tent at dawn before she went to the table to drink some of the cold water left in the bowl, picked up the coarse bread on the ground and ate it. She then curled up in a corner of the tent and closed her eyes to catch up on sleep.

Since she's been given half a month, she's not in a hurry; she knows she can't escape now anyway. She might as well conserve her energy and find a more suitable time; then her chances of winning will be much better.

The days dragged on endlessly; that's the kind of situation that describes this perfectly. Qiu Su didn't run away, and Wu Na probably knew her plans and didn't find it boring. However, every time his bright eyes swept around, every time their gaze met, Qiu Su's heart would involuntarily shrink back. The food wasn't good; barley flour mixed with some unknown black flour, carrying a strong smell, but it was enough to fill her up.

She had just closed her eyes for a short while when she was startled awake by the sound of someone lifting the curtain. Even Qiu Su herself didn't know if she was truly asleep or just pretending. The person who came in was the same burly man with a full beard from the previous night, who immediately stared at Qiu Su, who was huddled in the corner.

The ram grinned strangely, then rubbed his hands together and stepped forward. Qiu Su, with a sudden burst of strength, leaped up and ran towards a curved sword with a colorful scabbard hanging in the other corner. In the blink of an eye, she drew the sword and, taking advantage of the ram's momentary daze, rushed over and pressed it against his neck.

The ram raised its arm to strike, but Qiu Su pursed her lips, lowered the blade, and with a sudden slide, pressed it into the flesh.

"If you want your head, behave yourself." Qiu Su narrowed her eyes, her face turning ruthless.

Qiang Nu raised his hand to touch her neck, but Qiu Su pressed down even lower, gritting her teeth and saying, "Want to die?"

Qiangnu muttered a curse under his breath, then rattled off a long string of words. Qiu Su squinted at him, staring intently as if she would slap his head off if he made a single move. Laughter came from outside the tent, and then Wu Na walked in.

With a swift movement of her knife, Qiu Su sliced a finger-width gash across the neck of the mutton. The mutton cursed loudly, but Qiu Su had already sheathed her knife and leaped away.

As Qiangnu clutched his neck and was about to go over, Qiu Su jumped to Wu Na's side in two steps, handed him the knife in her hand, and said coldly, "A real man keeps his word and does what he says."

Una raised an eyebrow, pointed the knife at the crossbowman with her other hand, and said calmly, "Don't make me say it a second time."

The steed was panting heavily, staring at Wu Na for a long time, then spat at Qiu Su and lifted the curtain to go out.

Una wiped the knife clean on the fur on the table and sheathed it, saying coldly, "No one has ever dared to use this knife."

"I had no idea that anyone could just walk into your tent like that," Qiu Su said, her tone even colder.

Una chuckled, "How can we see a good show if no one can come in?"

"There's a saying in the Central Plains: 'To burn together jade and stone.' If you want to play cat and mouse, I'll play along to the end. But if you want to let men in, I'll show you what it means to burn together jade and stone."

"Oh? Your death saves me the trouble of doing anything."
