Kapitel 94

That time, the two had just finished and were still entangled together. She recovered in his arms and whispered to him about things at the company with her eyes closed. Su Mo was busy kissing her and only listened to a few words, not paying any attention to them.

"When are you going?" Su Mo asked, and Jiang Jianhuan answered.

"tomorrow."

He pursed his lips tightly.

Seeing that he didn't look well, Jiang Jianhuan remained silent for a while before changing the subject.

Why haven't you come over these past few days?

"I have a cold." For some reason, Su Mo's voice sounded a little muffled.

"I'm afraid I'll infect you."

"ah."

Jiang Jianhuan felt even more guilty for some reason. Looking at his slightly pale face, she took the bag from his hand.

What groceries did you buy? Let me help you.

"No need, you go pack your things, I'll do it."

Su Mo turned and went into the kitchen, rolled up her sleeves and began to prepare the ingredients. Jiang Jianhuan stood there for a while, then went back to her room to continue packing her luggage.

The meal was unusually quiet. Jiang Jianhuan tried to start a conversation by talking about her training, and Su Mo looked up and asked about her flight and accommodation.

“A female colleague from the company is also going, and the two of us will share a room,” Jiang Jianhuan replied, swallowing the food in her mouth.

"It shouldn't be like last time."

That night's hotel ordeal can be considered another unique 'experience' in her life.

Anyway, she's been through quite a lot.

Su Mo nodded and didn't say anything more.

Jiang Jianhuan had almost finished packing, and Su Mo checked her documents and necessities one last time.

"Keep your passport and money separate... The hotel doesn't have a travel adapter, so remember to bring your own."

He sat cross-legged on the floor next to his suitcase, checking the temperature on his phone.

"The temperature difference between day and night is quite large now, so bring a thick coat as a backup..."

Jiang Jianhuan looked at the man who was rambling on and on, just like she had worried about him every time she went on a long trip. Jiang Jianhuan had been looked after by her parents since she was a child, and they took care of everything for her, big and small. She was fine living independently, but she couldn't shake her forgetful habit.

Back in school, she often forgot her books and had Su Mo bring them to her from afar. Forgetting her phone, wallet, and keys was also a common occurrence, leaving her to wait anxiously outside the door for him to return.

They were quite careless when they went out to play. Su Mo packed and took care of both of their belongings and luggage, while Jiang Jianhuan was almost empty-handed. He wasn't used to carrying money when buying things, so Su Mo paid for them.

Because she kept her wallet with him.

The two have completely different personalities. Su Mo was sensible from a young age and lived alone with his mother from a very young age. When he was in elementary school, he could cook by himself. He would set up a stool in front of the stove, stir-fry a couple of simple dishes, and wait for his mother to come home from get off work to eat.

As he grew older, he became the backbone of the family, handling all sorts of matters, big and small, and his calm and independent personality gradually took shape.

Jiang Jianhuan sometimes had the illusion that Su Mo resembled her father.

Being with him felt like being treated like a daughter.

The flight was at around 9 a.m., and all the luggage was prepared and placed by the door. Jiang Jianhuan had taken a shower early and lay down on the bed. When she saw Su Mo coming in while drying her hair, she turned off her phone and put it aside.

His hair was thick and fluffy, not very long, and it dried quickly each time he aired it out.

Su Mo doesn't like using a hair dryer; she always lets things air dry.

"I'll help you." She volunteered, sitting up in bed and trying to please her. Su Mo glanced at her, said nothing, and handed her the large towel in her hand.

Jiang Jianhuan pulled him to sit down on the edge of the bed. She knelt down and rubbed the damp strands of hair under her hands.

The towel was almost soaked through quickly, while Su Mo's hair was already half dry, with a few strands of bangs falling on her forehead and covering the ends of her eyebrows.

Jiang Jianhuan threw away the towel in his hand, leaned down slightly, wiped his shoulders with both hands, and wrapped his arms around his neck from behind.

Su Mo's face was exceptionally aloof and handsome. After each bath, his skin was translucent and clean, as delicate as fine porcelain. Turning to look at her now, his dark eyes seemed to hold countless undercurrents, yet also appeared calm and utterly still.

Jiang Jianhuan didn't say anything, but cupped his face and kissed him.

Chapter 43

Su Mo's lips were soft and warm. Jiang Jianhuan only took two light kisses before he pulled her up to his lap, his hands slicing through her hair, taking the initiative.

A cool sensation came from his chest; it was the touch of his damp hair brushing against my skin.

Jiang Jianhuan suppressed a slight shiver and took a deep breath.

Halfway through, Su Mo rolled over and placed her on top of him. Jiang Jianhuan frowned, trying her best to cooperate with his movements.

The room quieted down. After a long while, Su Mo stirred. Jiang Jianhuan held his hand and brushed his hair, his fingertips damp.

"It's wet again."

"Hmm..." he responded lazily, Jiang Jianhuan whispered with her eyes closed.

"Use a hairdryer to dry it later, so you don't catch a cold again."

Su Mo didn't say anything, but rolled over and pinned her down, kissing her.

"Hmm." Jiang Jianhuan got off him and leaned against the pillow, when suddenly she felt a chill on her neck.

She glanced at it from the side.

The light green pillow was damp from his hair, leaving a large dark patch.
