The sequel to Journey to the West tells the story of how, three hundred years after the four disciples of Tang Sanzang successfully obtained the scriptures, the heavens and earth shook, and the demon Wutian suddenly descended upon the Three Realms.

Upon learning of this, Sun Wukong immediately sensed that something terrible was about to happen. Only after being enlightened by the Buddha Dipankara did he realize that the Three Realms were facing an unprecedented catastrophe.
Wutian knew that Sun Wukong was the key figure in finding the seventeen relics and the reincarnation of Buddha.
Therefore, he devised various schemes to use Sun Wukong to find the seventeen relics and kill the reincarnation of Buddha.
Unfortunately, his plot ultimately failed.
After going through countless hardships, Sun Wukong and his companions finally found sixteen relics, and the last one was Sun Wukong himself.
Sun Wukong leaped into the sea of fire, transforming into the seventeenth relic that subdued Wutian... the Boneless Relic, striking Wutian, whose body turned to ashes and vanished. Tathagata revealed his golden body and returned to the Buddhist realm, and the Three Realms returned to peace.
With everyone working together and focusing their minds, Sun Wukong miraculously came back to life.
The Buddha Tathagata bestowed upon Sun Wukong the title of the new Ancestor of All Buddhas... Namo Great Sage Relic King Buddha.
This world is a derivative world of the Journey to the West world.
Therefore, this world basically has all the magical treasures and rare materials found in the Journey to the West world.
Of course, this wasn't the part that most appealed to Li Yao.
What moved Li Yao the most were the Black Lotus of Primordial Spirit and the seventeen relics.
Wutian's primordial spirit, the Black Lotus, is Wutian's greatest reliance in unifying the Three Realms.
The seventeen relics were the Buddha's greatest reliance in defeating Wutian.
Both the Primordial Spirit Black Lotus and the seventeen relics are the most powerful and precious treasures in this world.
