Mysteriöses Brennen - Kapitel 46

Kapitel 46

It's not surprising that he's so popular; every time he reverts to this form, he attracts countless beautiful women. This is what he looked like when he was alive, surrounded by just as many beauties. It's just that he died before he turned 25 because of the "Heavenly Ghost" consciousness within him, causing him to die so young.

He found an empty computer, sat down, skillfully turned it on, and randomly entered a local chat room. He was confident he could lure out his next prey before he turned back into his sallow, emaciated self. Girls these days are incredibly bold; if you're handsome, they're practically defenseless.

He casually picked a name, then leisurely lit a cigarette and started smoking, waiting for his prey to arrive.

Aya is a prostitute. Don't let her young age fool you; she's been in the sex trade for two years. Life feels like rape to her, and she has no choice but to endure it. Since her father died and her mother ran off with someone else, she's learned to be decadent. Her rebellious eyes can't see the bewildering world; in her heart, the world is utterly indifferent. All she needs to do is lie in bed at night waiting for those fat, bloated guys to get on top of her, counting her banknotes. Then she'll pull the covers over her head and sleep, waking up to exchange a few cheesy words with those arrogant young men online.

She didn't need love, at least that's what she thought. Love was a luxury she craved, something she had no right to strive for. After that blond-haired guy took her virginity, he treated her worse and worse. He called her a whore and a slut indiscriminately, making her feel that good men were as rare as the apple of heaven, so she despaired of love. Of course, sometimes if she found someone she liked, she'd offer them her services for free. Those guys would then gleefully boast to their friends about their one-night stands. Little did they know that behind them were Aya's cold eyes, her numb lips exhaling smoke rings, and her heart, though still beating, already dead. Therefore, she never chose a man she slept with a second time. Those who paid for sex were, of course, an exception.

Her online name is simply "Aya," very ordinary. Just like her, she's still quite naive and unremarkable. The kind of person you'd easily forget if you just tossed her into a corner.

Like countless online ghosts, she searched or waited online. When she entered a local chat room, she found a very interesting name. The person was actually called "Little Alley Pig Herding," truly unique. Most people try to look cool with half-baked, poetic names like "Disordered Heart Soaring," "Silent Flowing East," or "Drunken Gaze," all kinds of tacky usernames. This person, however, chose a funny and amusing name like "Little Alley Pig Herding," which was genuinely interesting. She wondered if he was just as interesting as she was!

She clicked on private chat and tried sending him a message: "Hello!"

"Use Shenbao (a traditional Chinese medicine for kidney health), it's good for you and good for me," was the message "Little Alley Pig Herder" sent him. Indeed interesting, Aya became very interested in this guy herding pigs into the alley.

"What do you do for a living?" Aya asked again.

"I'm a professional pig herder, driving pigs into alleyways!" said the little pig herder.

The two chatted happily. Aya really liked this "pig herder in the alley" and secretly decided that as long as he wasn't a Japanese devil with a big head and short feet, what was wrong with offering herself to him once that night? Such a humorous person must have an interesting life.

"Can you open the video so I can see it?" Aya pleaded.

"No regrets? Aren't you afraid you won't be able to sleep at night?" Aya laughed when she saw the message "Little Pig Goes to the Alley." People who say this are usually either extremely handsome or extremely ugly. For an extremely handsome person, saying this is actually a sign of arrogance, while for an extremely ugly person, it's a sign of inferiority, giving you a heads-up.

“I’m not afraid. I’ve seen ugliest people before!” Aya replied.

"Oh? Then I'm sorry to disappoint you. I'm actually ugly but I've turned handsome. I'm afraid that if you see me, you'll become obsessed with me and keep pursuing me, which would be troublesome!"

"Ha!" Hearing "Little Pig Chasing Through the Alley" say such a thing almost made her burst out laughing. This guy's shamelessness was truly astounding; he was at least two feet eight inches tall, if not three.

Volume 3, Chapter 45, Heavenly Ghosts (4)

"You're shameless!" Aya laughed unconsciously. Only at this moment did her smile have a touch of innocent cuteness, like pure water in a polluted city, untouched by the dust of the world.

"Alright then!" Xiao Hutong's pig herder replied somewhat helplessly, and then turned on the video.

First, there was a moment of darkness, then a handsome face appeared on the video screen, a dashing smile playing on his lips. Aya almost choked. Such a good-looking guy! It was a huge loss to the film industry that he wasn't a movie star. A blush crept onto her face, and her heart pounded uncontrollably. How long had it been since she felt this way? She seemed to have forgotten what love was, what it meant to be moved. Today, she was blushing over a man she'd met online. Could it be... could it be the legendary love that had arrived? That feeling, long frozen deep in her memory, suddenly surged through her like a tidal wave, making her almost tremble. My God, could this be love? The feeling of a racing heart was so wonderful and intoxicating.

The man over there was Feng Xing, searching for prey. He smiled with satisfaction as he looked at the still-childish but dumbfounded girl opposite him.

"Why aren't you saying anything? Are you stunned by my unparalleled handsome appearance? Beauty, say something!" Feng Xing typed.

"Ah!" Realizing her lapse in composure, Aya quickly replied, "I admit I'm handsome, but is it really necessary to use so many adjectives?"

Seeing that the girl was interested, Fengxing knew he should strike while the iron was hot and typed, "Would I be so kind as to invite you to dinner tonight? I hope I have the honor!"

Aya's head felt like it had experienced a Big Bang, a thunderous roar erupting as she looked up, her mind reeling. Suddenly, everything went blank, a sense of dread washing over her. She was completely stunned, her mind reeling. She was utterly bewildered. "Oh? You mean the place and time? Letting ladies choose the place and time for a date is always my style!" Feng Xing said, feigning nonchalance.

Aya bit her lip and considered for a moment before saying, "Then give me your phone number, and I'll tell you over the phone, okay?"

"Sure! What's the phone number?"

“XXXXXXX!” Aya quickly dialed her number and said, “I’m logging off now. Call me at 7 o’clock, don’t forget!” Then she logged off as if fleeing and ran back home.

Sitting at home, she kept replaying her conversation with "Little Pig Going to the Alley" in the chat room. Had she just had a stroke of bad luck? She still couldn't quite believe it. She pinched herself hard—it really hurt! Aya excitedly went to get ready; she was determined to win his heart!

Feng Xing saw the girl on the other side log off, so he logged off too. Another infatuated type! Feng Xing could almost taste the satisfyingly sweet blood in his mouth.

After logging off, he left the internet cafe and headed straight for an ATM. A date with a girl, of course, required money. He had already cashed the check Yang Shaoxin had given him that morning and deposited it into his account. A large part of Yang Shaoxin's current status and wealth was thanks to his help. When Yang Shaoxin set his sights on that piece of land, it was either haunted or, as the newspapers reported, a "ruthless murderer who ripped out the heart and brain of a ten-year-old child"—all of this was his doing. In short, he would do everything in his power to drive the price of that land down as much as possible, allowing Yang Shaoxin to reap the maximum profit.

After withdrawing the money, he checked his watch; it was only a little past 4 p.m., still a long time before his date! He decided to wander around aimlessly.

As darkness fell, snowflakes began to drift down, and there was so much snow this winter.

Aya, all dressed up, sat on the sofa, staring blankly at the television. The commercial for "It's Great to Be a Woman" was playing. But she wasn't really watching; her gaze had long since drifted off into the distance. To be precise, she'd been spacing out for three hours straight since she'd been defeated.

"I'm not a boss, I'm just a migrant worker, humming a song at night, fantasizing about playing a hero"—this song, adapted from Wang Rong's "I'm Not Huang Rong," is Aya's ringtone. Hearing the phone ring, Aya quickly grabbed it, answering without even looking at the number, saying, "Hello!"

A voice she utterly disliked came from the other end: "My little Aya, did you miss me? It's your Fourth Brother Long. We're together tonight."

Before Brother Long could finish speaking, Aya impatiently said, "I'm busy, I'm never free again, don't call me again!" She hung up the phone curtly. For the sake of the love that was to come, she decided to stop being a despised prostitute and start a new life.

She glanced at the time on her phone; it was already 6:50. Why hadn't he called yet? She was getting impatient.

Finally, after an agonizing wait, the phone rang again. "I'm not the boss, I'm just a migrant worker."

"Hello! Is this Aya?" A slightly hoarse yet magnetic voice rang out.

"Huh? Yes, it is. You must be Little Pig Going Through the Alley!" Aya's throat was dry, and she almost trembled.

"Hehe, you can call me Fengxing! That's my name. So, have you decided where you want to go?"

"Shall we go to 'Tianwaitian'? After that, let's go see a movie! Then you can take me home~" Her tone was completely like that of a little girl who was in love, and she no longer had the nervousness she had when she first spoke.

"Okay, I'll go there and wait for you now!"

"Okay~ I'll go now, I won't keep you waiting!"

Aya hung up the phone, rushed out of the room at almost breakneck speed, went downstairs, hailed a taxi, and headed towards Tianwaitian.

Volume 3, Chapter 46, Heavenly Ghosts (5)

All the way there, Aya only felt that the car was driving too slowly. She was getting impatient as she approached "Tianwaitian" (a scenic spot in Taiwan), and her heart was pounding with nervousness. "What if he doesn't like me?" This thought kept popping into Aya's mind. She told herself to stay calm, to stay calm, but in the end, her legs were shaking like she was dancing at a disco.

"Hi, Miss Aya, you're even more beautiful than in the video!" Feng Xing said, offering a compliment. As if by magic, he produced a bouquet of vibrant roses from somewhere, saying, "These are for you. Only the most beautiful person deserves such beautiful flowers!"

Aya's face flushed red instantly, and her heart pounded a hundred times faster than it had in the car. Feng Xing's bold words and actions had completely thrown her into a state of confusion and uncertainty.

Feng Xing smiled as he looked at Aya's shy face. Clearly, Aya had dressed up carefully for this date. She had lightly drawn her eyebrows, applied a touch of blush, and her lips, in the cold winter, resembled wildflowers in the wilderness, looking exceptionally charming. Should he eat her? Feng Xing was almost momentarily confused. But he quickly dismissed the thought. As a "Heavenly Ghost," food was essential, and humans were the best food.

"Don't you want it?" Fengxing asked, holding up the roses and looking at Aya, who dared not look up.

Aya's face was flushed with embarrassment, and she kept her head down, not daring to look up at Feng Xing even once.

"If you don't want it, I'll just throw it away, okay?" Feng Xing pretended to throw it away. "Hey! No!" Aya hurriedly cried out. But when she looked up, she found Feng Xing looking at her with a half-smile.

"Oh my god, he's even more handsome than in the video! There are such handsome men in the world, and I actually met one!" Aya took the flowers and secretly marveled at her good fortune.

Feng Xing naturally put his arm around Aya's slender waist and then gestured for her to enter. Aya nestled happily in Feng Xing's arms and walked into "Tianwaitian". "Is this real?" Aya almost doubted that she was dreaming. If it weren't for the faint fragrance of roses emanating from them, she would have really thought she was dreaming.

The meal was thoroughly enjoyed; Feng Xing's humorous conversation and generous manners captivated Aya. After leaving "Tianwaitian," Aya suggested in a consultative tone, "Shall we go see a movie?"

Feng Xing readily replied, "Great! It's been a long time since I've watched a movie! To be able to watch a movie with such a beautiful woman like you is truly a blessing I've accumulated over many lifetimes."

"You're exaggerating! Do you always talk to girls this exaggeratedly to make them happy?" Aya gently punched Feng Xing with her pink fist, but her voice was full of joy.

"No way! If you weren't so charming, how could I say such things?" Feng Xing's words became even sweeter, making Aya laugh all the way.

The movie theater was showing an American horror film, and the gory scenes terrified Aya so much that she burrowed into Fengxing's arms. Fengxing, however, was laughing heartily. "Well, consider it an appetizer before the main course," he thought. The dismembered limbs and blood-soaked scenes on the screen excited him immensely.

After watching the movie, the two walked side by side on the street. From any perspective, they were a happy couple, which was truly enviable.

"Where to?" Aya asked happily.

"It doesn't matter, as long as I have you, I'm happy wherever I go!" Feng Xing speaks sweet words off the cuff without batting an eye.

"How about we go to my place? I live alone here," Aya said shyly. Her voice was barely audible, almost a whisper, as she spoke the last few words, overcome with shyness. Her words were undoubtedly a declaration to Feng Xing that she accepted him. She had taken countless people to her house before, but only this time had she spoken so softly and shyly.

"Okay~" Feng Xing agreed casually, but was secretly overjoyed.

The two kissed passionately as soon as they entered the house, and somehow ended up on the bed. Aya suckled at Fengxing like a thirsty lamb, practically tearing off his clothes. When she kissed Fengxing's chest, she saw a small, bluish-gray spot, about the size of a coin. She gently pressed the spot and asked curiously, "What's this?"

"Oh no! Lividity has appeared." Feng Xing realized that the life force he had absorbed last time was almost used up, and in a few minutes he would become a withered skin and bones. But he asked gently, "Do you really want to know what that is?" His tone was as if he were coaxing his spoiled girlfriend.

"Could it be a birthmark?" This was the conclusion Aya came to after thinking for a long time.

"So clever!" Feng Xing suddenly exerted his strength, flipped Aya over, and then covered her mouth with his own, kissing her passionately.

Aya passionately responded to Fengxing. What is happiness? This is happiness—to be able to curl up beneath her beloved, moaning softly, to be tenderly loved and pampered by him. She had never felt happiness so close, so within reach; it was something she had never dared to dream of.

Suddenly, Aya felt a sharp pain at the base of her tongue. She tried to push Fengxing away, but Fengxing pressed down on her like a mountain. Her painful cry only lasted for a short, soft "uh" before she fainted.

Seeing that Aya had fainted, Fengxing stood up from Aya. The girl's tongue still smelled of perfume, and Fengxing chewed on it with a wicked grin. He had taken advantage of the moment during their kiss when Aya had slipped her tongue into his mouth and bitten it off.

"Poor woman!" Feng Xing smiled as he looked at Aya, gently wiping away the blood that kept spilling from her mouth. Then, he greedily crawled to Aya's lips and began to lick it. "Don't waste it! Wasting is a shameful thing." This was the most basic principle of the "Heavenly Ghosts"—no waste.

After licking for a while, Feng Xing grabbed Aya's limbs without hesitation and broke them one by one. The excruciating pain from her bones woke Aya up, and she looked in horror at the man she had thought was happiness. In the end, she realized that happiness was nothing but a dream.

But her survival instinct still made her want to shout for help, but even with all her strength, she could only make a "hoarse" sound. She looked at Feng Xing with pleading eyes, hoping that Feng Xing would let her go.

Feng Xing gently stroked Aya's hair and said, "What a beautiful girl, tsk tsk!"

Aya tried to dodge Fengxing's hands as if she were avoiding a venomous snake, but every time she moved, her limbs were in excruciating pain. She had no choice but to let Fengxing's evil hands roam over her body!

Volume 3, Ghosts and Strange Things, Chapter 47: Heavenly Ghost (6)

Feng Xing laughed heartily, his blood boiling at the sight of Aya. However, beauty held no appeal for him whatsoever; food, food was his greatest need.

He whispered to Aya's son, "Didn't you want to know what that spot on my body is?"

Aya shook her head desperately, her face filled with terror, but the pain and fear made it impossible for her to escape the wind.

Feng Xing laughed and said, "That's not a birthmark, it's lividity!"

These words pierced Aya's heart like a sharp sword. Looking at Fengxing, who had looked up, she could hardly believe her eyes. That was no longer the handsome young man she had just eaten and watched a movie with; he was a terrifying "night zombie," his thin face and sunken eyes gleaming with a chilling light.

"Hahaha!" Feng Xing laughed loudly, leaning down and biting Aya's shoulder hard. The bite wasn't deep, but it hurt so much that Aya's body trembled. She wanted to scream, but Feng Xing's withered hand pressed her mouth down firmly, preventing her from making a sound.

Hot blood rushed into his throat like a refreshing spring, and Feng Xing felt a surge of energy coursing through his body. He couldn't help but bite into Aya's flesh, tearing off a piece, chewing it a few times, and swallowing it.

The pain and difficulty breathing caused Aya to faint again. To be honest, fainting was a good thing for Aya. How could she bear it to see such a cruel thing happen to her and have to watch it happen to her?

Seeing Aya unconscious, Fengxing cursed, "Useless!" He then took a few more bites of Aya, tearing off pieces of flesh to eat. Each bite was shallow, and he didn't tear off much meat. He wanted to keep Aya alive as much as possible; if Aya died too soon, all his efforts would have been in vain.

Fengxing ate bits and pieces until midnight, until his stomach finally couldn't digest anything. Aya was also barely breathing, barely able to keep up.

He had no appetite at all; eating women was such a hassle, they were covered in the smell of cosmetics, and even the meat tasted like that. His mouth was filled with the taste of chemicals. "Ptooey!" He spat out a mouthful of meat scraps, reached for Aya's chest, and violently stabbed it open.

Aya had been tortured for hours and was already on the verge of death. This blow took her life completely. The happiness she thought was within reach was gone forever. Her limbs convulsed, her pupils slowly dilated, and her body became a soulless shell.

Feng Xing ripped out Aya's heart and chewed it heartily, thinking to himself, "The taste here is still the most authentic, without that dizzying powdery smell!"

After devouring the heart in a few bites, Fengxing lay on Aya's bed, picking his teeth contentedly. He always felt drowsy after eating, wanting nothing more than to take a nap. Who eats until they're this tired?

Feng Xing looked at Aya, who had already lost her life, and pulled her body into his arms. Then he patted her face and said, "It's time to sleep. Go to sleep, don't disturb me!"

********************************************************************

"Lin Feng, I've already investigated the matter of that house!" Li Mingsheng said on the phone.

"Oh? Who is the homeowner?" Lin Feng asked as he walked through the offices of the "Gravity Building" Group while listening to the phone call.

“That house is currently unclaimed. The original owner died two years ago. He was a young man named Feng Xing, only 25 years old!” Li Mingsheng said.

"What? 25 years old?" Lin Feng exclaimed loudly, his voice sounding a bit excessive in the quiet office. However, everyone remembered that he was the boss's personal bodyguard, so they didn't say anything. After all, he was someone close to the boss.
