Xue Beifan half-closed his eyes, showing his disapproval, which made Xiao Dao feel uneasy.
"I'm leaving now, you can sit here for a while." With that, Xiao Dao turned and ran away.
"Sigh..." Xue Beifan rested his chin on his hand, gently tapping the table, and sighed deeply. "All that talk about protecting me in the future, or fighting my older brother to the death, it turns out it was all just talk."
Xiao Dao could no longer move his feet and stood there with a frown on his face.

Xiao Dao turned around, but there was nothing behind him. He turned around again, and Xue Beifan was already in front of him, almost face to face and nose to nose.
Xiao Dao was taken aback and took a step back, and Xue Beifan followed suit.

"What are you doing!" Xiao Dao immediately bared her teeth fiercely, but Xue Beifan's face remained expressionless, his calm demeanor leaving her unable to guess what was going on. Their eyes met, yet it was unsettling. In the instant Xiao Dao lowered her head, someone pushed her against the wall.
"Ouch..." As soon as my back pressed against the wall, my lips felt hot.
Xiao Dao opened her eyes wide. Xue Beifan touched her and quickly looked up to meet her gaze.
The sensation on her lips lingered. The two stared at each other, and after a moment of stunned silence, Xiao Dao suddenly became enraged and tried to kick him, but found she couldn't lift her leg. She couldn't move aside, and Xue Beifan had her pinned in a small gap between himself and the wall, pressing her down so she couldn't move.
"You damn Xue Er, what are you doing?"
"I forced myself on you!" Xue Beifan replied calmly, seemingly without any sense of impropriety.
"You dare!" Xiao Dao roared.
Xue Beifan pouted, "I wouldn't dare!"
Xiao Dao paused, looking at him with a puzzled expression. "Then why are you doing this? Let go, let go."
"I won't let you go!" Xue Beifan insisted. "I can at least have some soup if I can't eat the meat."
"Soup... um."
Xiao Dao's eyes widened in disbelief. Xue Beifan held her neck with one hand, giving her a firm grip that made her feel numb, while his other hand pinched her chin, pinning her against the wall to prevent her from moving. He then captured her mouth and kissed her.
Xiao Dao struggled for a while, but eventually ran out of strength, feeling both anxious and ashamed. This was the first time in her life she'd been treated so intimately, and she didn't know how to react. Even though Xue Beifan wasn't holding her hands and she wasn't struggling, she could at least have slapped him, but she forgot everything else and just pushed him away by pressing his shoulders.
Xue Beifan released her mouth to let her catch her breath, then curled his lips into a smile and bit her from her cheek to her ear, "You still say you're not moved?"
Xiao Dao was surprised by Xue Beifan's tone, which seemed completely different from the Xue Er who usually bantered with her. He hadn't used much force, yet she couldn't break free.
Xiao Dao was completely shocked when she felt the man start gnawing at her neck. She raised her hand to slap him. Xue Beifan was prepared. He grabbed one of her wrists and pinned it against the wall, and unsurprisingly, he also grabbed her other wrist as she swung it up, holding her five fingers in his palm. Xiao Dao saw his chest heaving, and the light in his eyes was as if he wanted to devour her.
With his face flushed and his heart pounding, just as Xiao Dao's mind went blank, he heard Hao Jinfeng's voice from the doorway, "Xiao Dao? What's wrong? Are you fighting?"
Xiao Dao was startled, as if a bucket of cold water had been poured over her head, completely sobering her up. She looked up at Xue Beifan, who also seemed to have come to his senses, standing there somewhat bewildered.
With a "smack," Xiao Dao withdrew his hand and gave Xue Beifan a slap that was neither too hard nor too soft, and completely meaningless.

That night, under the cover of darkness, Xiao Dao quietly slipped out of the courtyard with his bundle on his back. Just as he reached the wall and tried to climb over, he was grabbed from behind.
"Ah..." Xiao Dao exclaimed in surprise, but before he could even cry out, someone covered his mouth as something resembling a tinderbox flickered in front of his eyes. Xiao Dao immediately felt drowsy and realized he had been ambushed! But it was too late, and he drifted off to sleep.
When Xiao Dao woke up again, she found herself lying on a soft, large bed that was swaying back and forth.
Sit up; the window is on your left.
Pushing open the window, all that could be seen was an endless expanse of water… On a boat?! Xiao Dao was stunned for a moment, then heard a creak as the door opened.
Looking up, Xue Beifan came in carrying a food box. "Oh, you're finally awake?"
"What's going on?!" Xiao Dao exclaimed in surprise.
Xue Beifan smiled slightly and leaned closer, saying, "This ship is heading to Naihe Gate. Let's go find the fourth keel."
